Good morning! Already seen that there are some good losses, even for those in the dreaded week 3 Grin

Come and confess all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I love this point in Bootcamp. It's such a leap of faith for so many people when they first start low carbing, because it seems so strange to eat all the fat we're told to eat. But then when the scales show the result, I love it!

Morning bCampers Smile

Had a bit of a run on the yoghurt (shouldn't buy the big pack must buy small individual pots Blush ) yesterday so I need to reign that in.

Was on my own so bloody freezing (only light the fire if someone else is home it seems a waste just for me) same again today so fleeces are on for me and the old dog, He had cheese for B. I'm having coffee and salmon.
L. Salad with olives and ham.
D. Leek and cauli bake with chicken.

Have fun those that are off out Smile
Feel better soon those that are rough Flowers

Rest of us have a good un Smile

prettybird · 29/01/2015 08:57

Mrsstevejones - if you can find the KTC coconut oil (Asian/ethnic shops or the ethnic aisle in big supermarket), it is flavourless. Smile

and not expensive Grin

ChesterDrawers · 29/01/2015 09:08

Feeling a lot better now and have managed breakfast. Must have been the BPC, but I have never had that problem before.

I will have to do some kind of dessert, it will be expected. A friend has suggested I get some sorbet with berries for my dairy free friend and do choc mousse as planned for the rest of us. I think I will go with that idea. I won't be tempted either as I am not a fan of icecream/sorbet.

Thanks for the suggestions guys Flowers

SayraT · 29/01/2015 09:08

Morning everyone Grin

I woke up hungry this morning so I've had three rashers of streaky bacon and two fried eggs plus coffee with cream Smile I love this WOE.

Got to do a quick rush round and tidy up plus hide the cat as I've got a flat inspection later this morning. Luckily cat loves the snow so he has been out playing since 0530 this morning Grin Strange cat!

Plan for food for the rest of the day:

B: As above (bacon and eggs)
L: Courgetti with lime pepper
D: Asparagus, spring greens and green beans all fried in butter
S: Cheese

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 29/01/2015 09:09

Sneaky weigh in this morning, 4lbs down (nothing for ages) I dare say that will bounce around as usual before official 2 week weigh in. Mind you, had a terrible temperature yesterday, perhaps it burns off fat! ??

DrDiva · 29/01/2015 09:20

Well I didn't get around to posting much yesterday, as I had The Toddler in tow for the day, which always precludes a spare hand! (Not the kind of kid ever to sit quietly and draw or anything - my DM laughs at me and says in tones of hollow remembrance, "karma".)

I ate far too much - making up for the day before, when I froze and ate miserable meals:
B eggs and mushrooms cooked in butter; yoghurt and cream
S cheese and a couple of gherkins
L bolognese - everyone else had pasta, I had courgette ribbons
D ham and cheese balls with courgette and lettuce
And two coffees and cream.

But on the side, my tongue is really sore and I have ulcers. Yesterday had a horrible taste in my mouth too, though that's almost gone today. Is this a side effect of LC? I've been pretty run down anyway, for a load of reasons, maybe this is just the end of that?

Breakfast this morning was a bit of smoked sausage, and a coffee and cream. I really need to find the time at night to make something hot to put in a thermos for work the next day - I have been eating salads, which are lovely, but in this weather I just want hot food as a comfort thing. I find cold food makes me crave carbs more!

Upside of work today - the heaters are back on!!

Mrsstevejones · 29/01/2015 09:22

Hi Prettybird, will def give that a try - only prob is groupon did a deal so i bought two jars! Might be having coconut flavoured coffee for awhile yet!

Will buy that brand next time. Thanks

DrDiva · 29/01/2015 09:22

Oh, and I haven't lost any more, but am the same, which is good for starting AF!

sayra I had visions of your cat sat rigidly still on the mantelpiece, pretending to be an ornament!

sassandfaff · 29/01/2015 09:31

Morning.

I absolutely love bacon and eggs fried in coconut oil with the taste of coconut. It's really good in broccoli soup too. Some things it doesn't work with, but I've forgot what they are! Confused

fatstacks I'm pretty positive you alone are worth putting the fire in for. We are worth anything imho. Wink

B- 3 boiled eggs
L- either left over lasagne (courgette and aubergines for the layer of pasta) or pork casserole.
D- veg chilli

SayraT · 29/01/2015 09:32

Haha DrDiva I'm hoping that he just won't come back in......knowing my luck he will appear right as soon as the person arrives to do the inspection.

P.S in case anyone is thinking that I shouldn't have a cat if I don't have the landlords permission, yes you are probably correct. I have asked the landlord (via the agents) repeatedly but he does not answer. The previous two lots of tenants had cats and dogs. The LL is notoriously difficult to get hold of, a few years ago he didn't pay his LL registration which meant that I didn't pay rent for 5 months! He didn't notice this so I think he is unlikely to mind if I have a cat but unfortunately he will not give an answer either way when asked.

WireCat · 29/01/2015 09:36

Thank you for all the support everyone.

Today food will be

Eggs mashed with butter for breakfast
Lunch, eggs, cucumber topped with Brie & mayonnaise.
Dinner, chicken wings with chorizo and celeriac chips.

Have had a coffee with cream.

I have my breakfast a bit later than normal cos I work from 12-2 & don't get home til 1530 as I stay up in town to pick up my ds from school. So I have my lunch when I get home. And then I'm ok to wait for dh for dinner.

pootlebug · 29/01/2015 09:43

DrDiva - do you have a microwave at work? Can you get a microwave steamer and steam some veg instead of salad etc? Steamed broccoli would take 30 seconds to chop in the morning, and then 3 mins or so in the microwave at lunchtime.

My teeth and mouth can feel a bit odd for a day or two when you first go into ketosis, but I've not heard of mouth ulcers being a problem. Are you getting enough vitamin-c rich veg? Broccoli is especially good, cauliflower is reasonable, etc.

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 29/01/2015 09:51

I have had a medical reason for having felt so shocking this bootcamp. As a lot of stress has disappeared my blood pressure has settled at a lower level that it has been for the last few years which is on the low side in the first place. Well that explains the dizziness and feeling shakey then Hmm Am on a rest day and confined to bed today as pain levels were blooming bad last night showing i had over done stuff and risk a flare up.

B: the sausage bit out of a greggs sausage roll - i know didn't have time before heading out to Docs and had a big shakey wobble on the walk home, The pastry went in the bin.
2 eggs scrambled and 2 sausages, plus one coffee.

Mrsstevejones · 29/01/2015 10:12

I have been experimenting with using coconut oil in cooking and using it on my skin so its going down quite quickly.

Its nice with indian and thai food. Might try it in some other things. I do put it in smoothies and its nice.

Almahart · 29/01/2015 10:35

Had a bit of a blowout last night on the moussaka, no downward trend on the scales this morning. Getting my head round lc doesn't mean you can overeat, it should make you want to eat less. Lesson learned. Am in trousers I haven't worn for years this morning. Very happy

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 29/01/2015 10:38

Oh no bitchy Flowers hope you feel better soon

B - green tea with mint and a green smoothie made with spring greens, broccoli, half an avocado, coconut oil and double cream

rybka13 · 29/01/2015 10:59

Sayra good luck! I remember me and my husband hidding two of our four cats before an inspetion...We had permission for two, paid doubled deposit because of that plus I think £200 extra for professional carpet cleaning when we move out. And that was in 2009! Thanks goddess three cats are white and tabby so it was difficult to say which one is coming. Nerve wrecking. Next house we rented I was honest about cats (only 3 white ones left) and two guinea pigs, same story with deposits blah, blah but this time my company paying for me. The lady inspector arrives, young and very keen and with patronising face she says "I have to report you to the landlord because you keeping animals". I lost it then...
Can you train your cat to be more Cheshire cat?

Supermum0203 · 29/01/2015 11:04

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 29/01/2015 11:31

Hi all

I won't be able to post any weights on the spreadsheet for a couple of weeks as I will only have v. limited internet on my phone and also I don't think there will be anywhere to weigh myself either and if there are scales on the ship I will pretend I haven't seen them Grin

See you all in a couple of weeks Grin

Romeyroo · 29/01/2015 11:51

Not read all new messages, just wanted to say that my hip and waist measurements are still one inch lower this morning Grin

Snowed in today, so drinking lots of herbal tea and trying not to snack

B was 3x hard boiled eggs and mayo

ChippingInLatteLover · 29/01/2015 11:56

Too many things to comment on individually!! But please take , Flowers, 'have a great time', Hmm, congratulations & commiserations as applicable xx

Sass. I know it would be easier to stop being veg, but I could no sooner eat 'meat' than a cat. Still seems all the same to me. Interesting how you changed though.

bitchy :(. Hope you feel better soon.

SayraT. Excellent! LOL at your explanation re having the cat!

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 29/01/2015 12:28

I am Hungry.

Been doing 30DS everyday to get my legs stronger and it's sent my appetite into overdrive and I'm so crabby it's untrue. The poor DC been dumped in front of peppa pig.

I'm doing dairy free bootcamp during the week and BCL at weekends at the moment and I made a pact with myself that today would be BCL and I would have an extra dairy free day at the weekend, mainly so that I could actually eat something because we're running really low and I'm too crabby to take two under 5s to the supermarket!

So now I feel guilty for cheating on myself and I'm still hungry. Have just had a second BPC to try and get more fat in.

(Sorry needed to vent)
(Goes to see if lunch is ready yet)

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 29/01/2015 12:31

And to top it all off its just started snowing heavily, no supermarket run for me!
