Evening everyone. I hope you're all ready, prepared and raring to go!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness:

for you to enter your starting weight

Have a good look at the tabs at the bottom, as there you will find the rules, the list of allowed veg and lots of other really useful information.

I've also started the questions thread , so if you have anything you need to ask, that's the best place to ask it. The chat threads move really quickly in the first weeks, so this thread is the best place to ask your questions.

And this time around, I thought it might be useful to have a thread to post about good/interesting low carb products that you come across:

Here

Good luck!

Oh, and I would quite like to get to under 140 lbs (5 to go) but more important is the bp. So currently bp is 120/83 - I will measure again at the end of BC and see if that's lower!

prettybird · 19/01/2015 08:32

Anaxapax - I'm also doing Jillian Daniels' DVDs (currently doing Ripped in 30) and go to a weekly Pilates class. I'm now on my 2nd week of this Boot Camp (started early so I could be finished in time for Burns Night WineWink) and have plenty of energy to do it - but given that I did the previous Boot Camp, I'm probably already pretty well ketogenically adapted.

bettybigballs · 19/01/2015 08:32

Hello all, sounds like everyone's off to a great start. Grinch, your post made me giggle, my lunch is also sitting on the kitchen worktop, I'm sitting in a train. Idiot.
Luckily I have a supermarket near the office so will get some sliced meat, salad and Mayo.

My weigh day is on weds as I've been at this for a couple of weeks. Expecting a slow down this week as have lost 6lbs in the last week.

Good luck everyone!

TheGrinchWearsStripes · 19/01/2015 08:37

Thank you for your solidarity, betty I will toast you with the pint of water I drink with my newly bought salad at lunchtime!

BitchyTakesOnManagement · 19/01/2015 08:53

Morning, not able to put my name change into force yet due to various boring reasons so will do that later this month and warn you.

Low carb breakfast (scrambled eggs) check
remembering to stand on scales before eating - Blush

Will weigh in tomo but have been away at the weekend and was fed a heavy bread diet for two days. Suffering for it and suspect the scales will not be kind.

Good luck and remember get through the first few days and it really does get easier and easier.

CQ · 19/01/2015 08:57

Morning all, weighed in this morning and to my shame I've put back on nearly all of the pounds I lost doing last May's bootcamp, bar about 6, so I suppose it could have been worse.

DS home sick today so an excuse to dig out the Jillian Michaels' DVD and have a flap about in the living room. Plus lots of running up and down stairs ministering to the poor boy (trainee-man-flu)

B- Total yoghurt
L - salmon and salad
D - Ikea meatballs & tomato sauce (+spaghetti for the carb-eaters)
Snacks: HB eggs. Luckily the chooks are still laying well, despite the Baltic freeze.

Good luck everybody!!

YellowTangerine · 19/01/2015 09:01

Marking my place and have entered myself on the spreadsheet!
Good luck everyone!

outtolunchagain · 19/01/2015 09:07

SayraT · 19/01/2015 09:08

Morning everyone Grin

Really sorry to hear that about your job Istanbul, it sounded really good Sad

Someone has already done it truffle

I'm also looking out my JM DVDs glen I intend on doing one everyday that I don't do another form of exercise Hmm

outtolunch the way the formulae have to be set up means that is the case, it will sort itself once you add your weight next week Smile

Well done Apopheina great start Grin

Fox HAHAHA Grin at least you've got a starting point to go down from Smile

clash I already have Smile

MrsH sadly there is no tracker this time Sad there is no on at MNHQ to run it for us. Oh, I've just seen pisses has posted a link, I'll go and check it out...haha, ok that was the spreadsheet which is all we have this time round.

sorelip there must be a wee spreadsheet fairy going round and adding all these things, it was already done Smile Thanks spreadsheet fairy Grin

Poor MrKoala Sad hopefully he will have cheered up by the time he is home. Tell him not to be sad, often men on LC seem to lose weight much faster and easier than women.

Sorry pseudo I have no idea Confused do you want me to update it for you?

supermum I've done it...the spreadsheet fairy did get there first but weights on the spreadsheet need to be in lbs not kilos so I have converted it.

Pisseslikeahorse · 19/01/2015 09:23

whoops - weight tracker Blush

WireCat · 19/01/2015 09:28

Good morning, I can't add to the tracker thing cos I'm on a tablet.

Can someone add my weigh of 163 3/4 lbs.

I work from 12-2 & then stay in that town to pick my boy up from school. So I, eating some eggs now. Then will shove in a Brie salad before I go to work.
Dinner tonight is going to be chicken wings.

Snacks will be the feta and olives I bought on the w/e.

Anyway if someone can add my weight, I'd appreciate it, thanks

Fatstacks · 19/01/2015 09:37

Good morning!
Could someone please add my 194 as my phone won't allow me to edit.

I'm only 1 coffee in (normally would be 4 by 9amBlush ) and no sweetener! I'm high fiving myself.
B. Poached eggs with mushrooms.
L. Egg salad with whatever fish is on the cheap shelf.
D. Zero noodles with peppers mushrooms and tinned toms.

I suspect more coffee will be included but I've lots of fruit teas ready.

ChippingInLatteLover · 19/01/2015 09:44

Morning all

Hope everyone has a good first day!

*German/Istanbul'. So sorry to hear that, I hope you find something great soon. I'm disappointed selfishly too as I was really looking forward to hearing about your time there.

mootime · 19/01/2015 09:45

Morning all. Im feeling more positive than I was when I got on the scales this morning. 2 weeks in and not much weight off. But I'm back in jeans that I couldn't get in after christmas...

I want to be 10 stone. Even just 10stone something so I have 30lbs to loose.

But I am going to be super strict. I may take out the dairy Ive just reintroduced to my diet and see if that makes a difference.

projectbabyweight · 19/01/2015 09:53

I have added your weight Fatstacks, and WireCat I think someone else has done you.

Best of luck everyone Smile I'm going to but some lovely underwear once I've got this dratted baby weight off!

projectbabyweight · 19/01/2015 09:54

Buy lovely underwear, I mean, not but. Though it is for my butt!

surprisedbyjoy · 19/01/2015 10:05

Good morning! Can I join you? I'm a long term low-carber but seem to have lost my way a bit. I lost loads (5 stone!) over the first couple of years but no significant losses for some time. On the plus side I'm starting this year no heavier than last year - but that's still 1.5 - 2 stone above where I would like to be. I'm hoping 10 strict weeks on boot camp might get things going in the right direction again - to lose half a stone would be wonderful!

So I need to watch portion sizes, drink the water and get some exercise!

sassandfaff · 19/01/2015 10:08

197lbs.

I can't even get the spread sheet to load up, never mind add to it. Grrr. I'm a complete tech idiot and likely to be the one who wipes everything off, so if someone could be so kind as to add my starting wait?

I've been lcing since 1st Jan, but still had nuts and dairy. Time to be uber strict, although, I have forgone my 2 sugars in my tea, so I may allow my self milk in my tea, but that is it!

Finished off the Greek yogurt and extra thick double cream with mixed spice sprinkled in last night in preparation.

B-3 boiled eggs with salt and butter
L- tuna salad
D- TBC.

Good luck everyone.

sassandfaff · 19/01/2015 10:10

Wait? I mean weight obviously. More water needed for brain power me thinks. Blush

lurkingmurking · 19/01/2015 10:13

Morning all

I have a yummy packed lunch in the work fridge with some prawn mayo, cheese sticks and olives for munching if necessary.

Breakfast ended up being a strange sort of egg and butter pancake because DS called me before I got a chance to scramble it but it was yummy.

I've also made myself a little water counter and stuck a shocking photo of myself from last week up to prevent temptation!

Does anyone know how you can quickly get back to your last post on a thread?

harderthanitlooks · 19/01/2015 10:25

I've managed to add my name to the spreadsheet but can't add my weight. I will have to try later on the PC. I'm notorious for breaking spreadsheets so fingers crossed I haven't broken it already!

lurkingmurking · 19/01/2015 10:27

This website looks amazing - tons of recipes

projectbabyweight · 19/01/2015 10:28

Have put you on the spreadsheet sassandfaff.

lurkingmurking, do you know about "ctrl F" - it's a way to find a word on a page, so hold down control and f, then type in your username, and it'll highlight your posts.

sassandfaff · 19/01/2015 10:31

Thanks project

lurkingmurking · 19/01/2015 10:32

Thanks project!
