Evening everyone. I hope you're all ready, prepared and raring to go!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness:

for you to enter your starting weight

Have a good look at the tabs at the bottom, as there you will find the rules, the list of allowed veg and lots of other really useful information.

I've also started the questions thread , so if you have anything you need to ask, that's the best place to ask it. The chat threads move really quickly in the first weeks, so this thread is the best place to ask your questions.

And this time around, I thought it might be useful to have a thread to post about good/interesting low carb products that you come across:

Here

Good luck!

Today is DDs birthday and so has been a struggle. Managed to hold back from the cake. Had a spoonful of buttercream icing which is obv not ideal but better than other options! Surfing Saturday's party is going to be harder (and all the baking in preparation all week. I love icing.. Anyway
Breakfast was an avocado and lunch was seatrout with a courgette and tomato sauce and a soy latte.
Supper will be crab salad then guinea fowl and courgette.
Am bloody starving.

lavenderhoney · 20/01/2015 18:42

B- 2 egg omelette with left over cauli, few mushrooms, end of a Brie, coffee with cream x2
L- nothing as went running
Snack- babybel and 2 slices of ham buttered, and a few olives (3)
Dinner- salad of lettuce and coleslaw which I had to force my myself to eat as not hungry.

Lots of water. I feel incredibly bloated but got almost no sleep last night due to neighbours playing whale music for half the night. Fabulous. I hope I'm tired enough tonight to fall asleep if they do it again.

costababe · 20/01/2015 18:57

Had a LC chilli last week no beans or badness, always batch cook normally wrap the left overs in tortillas and pour on a cheese sauce and popin the oven , didn't want to waste it so rolled the chilli in blanched green cabbage leaves and made a sort of cheese topping with butter, cream cheese, and grated cheesesnd a splash of cream, served with salad, lovely.Smile

Got Mr Costas mate over for the first leg of Chelsea versus Liverpool, they are LC too so snacks will be cheese cubes, roasted little green peppers and some almonds, the boys are treating themselves to gin and slim line tonic, no carbs apparently!!

CharlieSierra · 20/01/2015 19:04

I have now tried updating the spreadsheet on every device I own to no avail. I used to be able to do it on my work laptop and my iPad but now none of these are working.

Sorry to be a pain but could someone please add my start weight? I'm 158.6.

Mrsstevejones · 20/01/2015 19:15

So is been a good day all in all, i thought i wasnt going to suffer from carb flu too badly but i think i have it now, feeling a bit poo.

SayraT · 20/01/2015 19:19

Thats it done chester sorry, I really don't know why the spreadsheet doesn't work for some people.

readyforno2 · 20/01/2015 19:20

RatherBeOnThePiste · 20/01/2015 19:37

Bad day food wise - not cheating at all, but no meals, just bits, and catching up with water now as couldn't earlier.

It will be better tomorrow.

ChesterDrawers · 20/01/2015 19:40

Thanks Sarya, work often blocks random sites then unblocked them again but I am baffled by why I can no longer edit on my pad.

FurFoxAke · 20/01/2015 19:41

Hi all, just checking in with today's food intake, I find it helps to keep me on the straight and narrow!
Breakfast: buttery duck egg and BPC.
Lunch: cheeses omelette with courgette, mushroom and leek all fried in butter
Tea, roast chicken leg and salad with mayo.
On my last 500 ml of water now which will make it 3l.

I felt better once if done the school run today, will have to see what tomorrow brings wrt carb flu Grin
Good luck losers. (In a good way)

BestIsWest · 20/01/2015 19:45

I wonder if it's due to an IOS upgrade? There's been at least one since the last bootcamp.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 20/01/2015 19:45

I'm just drinking my fifth litre of water for today!! Shock

MrsKoala · 20/01/2015 19:49

DS1 (and I) survived his first avo at nursery. I was a nervous wreck all morning. I took him in and settled myself in the corner with the baby and he barely noticed me. After an hour the head nursery lady told me it was pointless me being there and i should go off for 45 mins to see how he reacted. So i told him i was leaving to take the baby for a walk, which was fine with ds. So i left. Went back 45 mins later to be told he was still having fun and i should go away for another 45mins till 3.30. When i collected him he ran to me smiling and happy and gave me this picture he had painted of Thomas the Tank Engine. As you will all agree, the likeness is uncanny! Grin

Antimatter - those pics are lovely. Where on the Thames are you?

Today i have done a ridiculous amount of weeing. I have been drinking loads, as i kept waking up gasping last night. I bought a variety of fruit teas and am loving the peppermint and liquorice. The green tea with lemon is bloody manky and will go in the bin i think.

b - pork balls with a dollop of yogurt
l - leftover roast chicken, small spoon celeriac mash, a whole head of broc.
d - pork belly, kabanossi sausage, peppers and leek casserole with brussel sprouts
s - a couple of pork balls

(also a bit too much pig for me today - no pig tomo i think!)

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 20/01/2015 19:55

Gyoza meatballs and noodle broth was amazing! So tasty. Sorry about the crap photo though!

Week 1 - January Low Carb Bootcamp: and we're off!
AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 20/01/2015 20:04

Lovely photos antimatter!

MrsKoala · 20/01/2015 20:06

My nose is running like a tap and my head is banging - is that normal?

WireCat · 20/01/2015 20:08

Ah bless him mrskoala. And that's a lovely picture of Thomas The Tank.

TheGrinchWearsStripes · 20/01/2015 20:19

mrskoala I heard the theme tune when I saw that picture! Grin glad it went well! sounds like you found a lovely nursery. (And yes, have the lemon green tea here too. It. Is. Shite.)

attitcus your food descriptions are just amazing! I want your dinner.

Beautiful pictures antimatter especially the leaf.

Not in bed with rooibos. Thanks to bad trains I didn't get home in time to deal with the soup so my dinner was smoked salmon and cream cheese "sandwiches" made with cucumber, and the remaining two sausages from last night. We will have the celeriac soup on Thursday, tomorrow night we're having chicken enchilada zucchini boats.

lurkingmurking · 20/01/2015 20:20

Atticus that looks lush. What did you use instead of noodles?

AlphaBravoHenryFoxtons · 20/01/2015 20:26

I've had a difficult day. Delivering DS2 back to uni after his CHristmas break, so spent all day on the motorway.

B Salami eaten in the car
L Peanuts eaten in the car (I know these aren't allowed for bootcamp and I am very repentant)
D Lovely DH is making me baked salmon with broccoli and mashed swede.

I didn't drink nearly enough water as it was a long enough journey without having to stop at each and every service station. Grin

antimatter · 20/01/2015 20:30

Thanks for kind words.
MrsKoala - I work near Reading. TVP2 where Oracle/ Microsoft are. My company is much smaller Grin

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 20/01/2015 20:31

*lurking^ I used the Barenaked noodles from Morrisons, expensive at £1.99 a pack but soo worth it! They are carb free.
