awww monty & celtic up a tree K I S S I N G :o lol. glad you're having fun.

no no news on DP yet - as I say until he's back in the UK waters (hopefully early) i'm tempted not to trust/believe he'll be home early, esp as a friends' friend's husband in the general region's been told their stay out there's being extended until november. fingers crossed & lets hope - either way I trust DP will be home for the baby. :)

good luck ninah.

better do my ironing now - hmmm mcdreamy (greys anatomy) or colin firth (kings speech) hmmm.... choices.

NOmeansNO · 16/05/2011 20:25

oh i still need to see kings speach. tell me if its any good.

i also want to go see jack sparrow(the real oneWink) in the flicks.

ironing is half done.

i really need to square up my house. beachbum as asked if i am free tomorrow!! and finally i am!! he's coming to mine.eeeeeeeek! i'm half hoping he cancels as we haven't met for over a year!i've put n weight, and he's grown a 6 pack!

NMN - OMG @ Irish lol.

DTM - Oh it'll be lovely for you when he does get home whenever it is.

I took Celtic to a friend's family do yesterday where there was loads of other friends so I've come out a wee bit if you like lol. It went really well, then we came home and had lasagne dinner (that I pre-cooked on Saturday) with my dc's and dd's bf. It was lovely swoons and pinches self.

ninah · 16/05/2011 23:19

monty's on the so-fa ...
yes hope you get him back soon dtm
irish. what are the odds, hmm? Grin
my book is sitting on a shelf (the book-shelf, natch) ready to go. My friend is panic reading for last min errors in her pjs. No text from her so I think it has the all clear.
Meanwhile, I was on waiting list for teacher training, with a place in 2012 - I was telling myself this was all v meaningful, as it gave the book thing a chance to happen. Today i got a call to say i could start this Sept ...

NOmeansNO · 17/05/2011 18:45

ninah - wow fantastic news about the teaching. you must be super pleased.

have you heard from your friend about the book yet?

monty - i think you have pulled a wee puffe up beside the marital sofa an anticipation of switching onto it and getting your feet up!

OP posts:
ninah · 17/05/2011 20:21

pleased but stressed, you know how it is with something new! been working towards it for the last 3 years, getting experience, taking my maths gcse .. can't quite believe I'm actually on! that's how it is with studying, as you know. Loads of slog, and when it finally starts to pay off it takes a while to sink in. just found out a friend is thinking of starting up as a childminder which would be great as there will be more of a commute/longer days ...
the book has gone in today's post, now if that was sorted it really would be dream come true.
Puffe, nah. She's gone all Parker Knowle. She may even have a remote control gadget for the footrest. Irredeemably sofa'd.

NOmeansNO · 17/05/2011 20:49

ninah - cant wait till i'm in your place and the studying is complete... i might even have time to watch tv.

i have no idea what people are talking about when people are discussing tv. i dont even know the storyline to some of these things. i had to get someone to explain what exactly is the only way is essex. i seen a part of an episode at a friends when i went for dinner and i did not get it at all? its like some sort of craddy documentary crossed with a soap?

monty - did you get your remote control gadget from kleeneze catalogue. i do like those little remote caddies.

ninah · 17/05/2011 20:55

my sister loves TOWIE! I find it fascinating in a repellent kind of way, I only see it at hers, though, I don't have a telly (like you say, no time, so I decided why bother? we watch dvds on computer sometimes)
I lived in Essex for a bit and while it's obv not 100 pc accurate there's a grain of truth there, local dentist with a sideline in botox etc
you texted irish yet Grin soh Wink

NOmeansNO · 17/05/2011 21:09

ninah - so you dont need a tv license? see.... i would go without, but my mum cant work dvd players. she likes being able to stick cbeebies on in the afternoon on a friday when she's watching kids.

i'm soh. i haven't text. but i did fb msg saying "if your single does that mean your allowed out on the lash".. he's not replied to that yet. but he's commenting on my statuses more Wink. he's posted he's staying off the booze and staying healthy from now on ROFL .. never gonna happen.. i might tempt him to go on a bike ride Smile. we stay a 10 min canal side bike ride from each other now.. meet along the water side... how idylic..... nah.. just doesn't seem right unless he's pissed as a fart Grin

OP posts:
davidtennantsmistress · 17/05/2011 21:14

NMN - I love it - but thought it was better at the flicks to be fair, still a v funny film thou.

ninah - wow good lukc with the book & teacher training. like nmn I can't wait until stopping the study, however if I carry on this rate it will be another 10 years. :(

monty - agreed think you'll be wanting a spot on the sofa soon.

well not much happening here today - had me hair done, got it cut coloured & shaped so looks quite nice, althou was after it being red - still looks god thou. DS is at mums so a nice night in with 2 trashy mags & a 4 packet of choc chip muffins.

davidtennantsmistress · 17/05/2011 21:17

NOmeansNO · 17/05/2011 21:43

mrsT - guess what... beachbum canx. haha. some things never change. his turn to canx. he had to do a combat class for a colleague on the sick.

ninah · 17/05/2011 22:10

ninah - i have to wait till he comes back from his hols now to see just how fit he's gotten in 18 months

i'm trying to persuade my mum to come stay over and let me go see pirates of caribean. she does my childcare on friday anyway. but so far she's having none of it

OP posts:
davidtennantsmistress · 19/05/2011 20:36

WE believe you NMN! :o

(erm no the top ones were erm my skirt elastic - panic over. :o am bio oiling like mad atm, good job it was bogof & DP's mum sent me £10 for my birthday.) - no doubt they'll show their horrid faces again though soon.

let me know what the new pirates is like if you see it - had booked mum for this sat, but apparently DB want's her to sit instead so she's going there. :( guess saving the cash will be better for me.

hope everyone's ok.

NOmeansNO · 19/05/2011 20:43

dtm - so your mum cancelled baby sitting for you to go do it for them? is it for them to do work/essential things? or a night out?

i didn't go. mother was having none of it.

and i am actually pissing myself at you thinking your elastic marks were stretch marks. you have a serious dose of baby brain

i'd come on msn but i am studying tonight Confused

OP posts:
davidtennantsmistress · 19/05/2011 20:47

NOmeansNO · 19/05/2011 21:57

my bed is calling me. I am booked in to get contact on saturday. anyone her use them? i want them just for riding. I am starting some tuition on something and realised i will need to be to see long distance. How do they cope with being in the open at high speeds. do they dry out. someone was saying something to me about getting ones which have some air lubrication thingy in them so they dont dry out during outdoor sport. this means nothing to me. lol i thought only thing you had to think about was whether or not they were the right perscription.
