Am still at work. Christmas do this evening.

steppie - agree would rather give cash. It makes sense if you are trying to raise money you want money, not tat. Surely that is the rational (and easy) thing to do? Nothing to do with festive cheers or not. Just give us cash. Ho Ho Ho to you too.

slng · 02/12/2009 17:32

Hmm. Meant to be Ho Ho Ho.

vbus · 02/12/2009 17:43

Curry was yum, will do cottage pie tom. Virtual curry to you all

Will bake something for xmas fair this coming Sat

Sfx - I wish I could've nodded off 3x, so tired, will be going to bed at 8.30pm at this rate!

Steppie - enjoy your drinks

ComeOveneer · 02/12/2009 18:43

Nice Christmas do last night. Completely tired today though ...

DS1 also hungover for unknown reason so is resting at home.

Tilly - LOL at bringing home your own tat donation!

vbus - at curry. Going to cook Malaysian chicken curry tonight too. Can't go too long without curry. Those spices are addictive, I swear.

Dusty sounds exciting (who are you btw, name change?)

stepfordwife · 03/12/2009 14:33

...there really is a link, is there not, between drinking too much and feeling like holy shite the next day...
always thought it was just a coincidence....

stepfordwife · 03/12/2009 14:33

...and too much is anything over two glasses these days
amateur

hello CoV

sfxmum · 03/12/2009 15:02

WHAT IS THAT NOW DEAR?

had a look at hampers being prepared for raffle at fair next week, they look lovely, plenty of booze

OP posts:
stepfordwife · 03/12/2009 17:34

ouch, sfx
bravely eating my way through it..
hampers sound fab

slng · 03/12/2009 21:23

Just watched yesterday's spooks on iplayer. Terribly exciting!

steppie - I feel terrible today and I only had half a glass of bubbly last night. It's the staying up late that does it for us old folks. But I didn't have any hangover last two weekends despite drinking over half a bottle of wine of an evening ... So don't know what it is really...

We don't have much Christmas stuff in school - christmas play, christmas lunch for the kids and that's it, though a list of classmates' names have been sent back which possibly is a hint that one should write Christmas cards. I don't take hints.

sfxmum · 04/12/2009 09:47

good morning all

slng it is getting quite mad, can't wait for new episode tonight, with Ewan he does crazy well

hope everyone is ok

we are thinking of going to Kew Sparkle tonight apparently quite a few activities going on as well as school choir

freezing this morning but dd refused scarf, gloves, breakfast, trousers and tried refusing going to school

OP posts:
slng · 04/12/2009 14:53

sfx - who's Ewan? Did DD go to school bare-bottomed then? Bit cold in this weather!

Weekend!!!!

sfxmum · 04/12/2009 15:11

slng very nearly dh said she is half Portuguese half donkey, don't think he thought that one through before saying it out loud

anyway will go out to Kew Sparkle I think for one more session of freezing my butt off and spending money, it almost like penitence

Ewan Bremner he was on the trailer, really like him

OP posts:
slng · 04/12/2009 16:38

sfx - who's the donkey of the family then?

What to do for tea??

TheWorldFamousKewcumber · 04/12/2009 17:41

Nativity play today - lordy, lordy enough stories to last me a year . You know those out-take/silly animal/children doing ridiculous things video programmes? Well DS could have had a whoel show to himself!

Will tell the (shortened) version at dinner tomorrow...

Today was a good day for being a parent.

vbus · 04/12/2009 17:57

Hello

KC - looking fwd to hearing the details

Sfx - Minisfx must be feeling better if she's making such assertions Enjoy Sparkle, I am too tired and it's too cold to play out now

Steppie - fully expecting to be feel rubbish on Sunday but looking fwd to Sat night, nudge me if I fall sleep

DS2 slightly better but well and truly in teething misery, still not sleeping well, aaarggh

Donated hamper items today and apparently I did not dress DS1 in enough shiny stuff for fancy dress today, 'next time put more tinsel on me mummy'

slng · 04/12/2009 18:17

Kew - photos on FB please. I'm not there tomorrow...

Isn't it freezing?

DS2 is repeatedly announcing solemnly "he's dead, of course", and bursting into giggles. Is that normal?

vbus · 04/12/2009 18:51
