OP posts:
Kewcumber · 29/10/2009 12:56

sfx - DS has been the sameall week (much recovered today) - eating virtually nothing, high temps. It ran its course in about 3 days.

tillyfernackerpants · 29/10/2009 13:15

sfx, hope dd gets better soon. Ds2 also poorly, think he has a cold but also teething

slng, hope ds1 gets better soon too. Enjoy trip to Ealing!

We're staying close as well, been to toy library this morning & then maybe just to the library this afternoon.

slng · 29/10/2009 14:58

Finally back ... Had lunch at Okawari after going to library. DS2 spent most of the time under the table.

Exhausted. Don't know what kids are doing but there is an awful lot of noise from upstairs. Best go and have a look I suppose ...

Also bought tiny pumpkin. What to do with it?

mygreatauntgriselda · 29/10/2009 15:46

Hmm love Okawari

SFX if you fabcy joining us on the day, give us a tinkle. Prob heading out between 5-6pm, there is always a great atmosphere with little groups of kids dressed as various spooks, very friendly

Hope DD gets better

Hope everyone else OK

slng · 29/10/2009 17:06

We carved a pumpkin! There is a first time for everything ...

sfxmum · 29/10/2009 17:29

seems like ice cream and meds perked dd up a bit

KC&auntie will let you know thanks

hope poorly ones feel better soon

thankfully dh will be taking the day off tomorrow, or at least that is the plan, current crisis permitting

OP posts:
mygreatauntgriselda · 29/10/2009 17:40

Kew not trying to lead you astray, but if you fancy popping down here with DS to join us for T&T you would be welcome. We won't come down there 'cos its so lucrative here

Kewcumber · 30/10/2009 17:21

thanks auntie - we have changed our mind and will just go to pub in sheen for halloween party. DS still very off colour and behaving like a monster (though mostly tiredness I think)

Saw "Going on a bear hunt" today it was fab.

sfxmum · 30/10/2009 18:01

hello all

super chilled out day today as dh took the day off, did not get up before 10 despite dd's best efforts but to be fair I spent a fair bit of the night up checking on her, my girl talks a lot in her sleep, but at least is feeling better although still on hanger strike it seems

did manage a short run and some shopping

KC where was that? heard they had a nice new production
speaking of which panto tickets should be up for sale soon

sfxmum · 31/10/2009 13:35

SFX we didn't go either I just couldn not be arsed was feeling too tired. Want to go for a walk tho and am awaiting DH's return

The Amnesty Film Fest opened last night and DH was main speaker. Interviewed by David Cox from Guardian, not sure when its appearing...

Baking sounds nice

I feel quick sick actually, just handed my notice in at work and my tum is a tight lil' ball of "OMG am I doing the right thing-ness"

My best friend at school came over for dinner last night and I haven't sdeen her 30 years, was fabulous

dustythedolphin · 31/10/2009 20:03

sfxmum · 31/10/2009 20:45

dh did take dd T or T in the end spur of the moment type of thing

dolphin Hi are you the one who left me a voicemail this weekend? if so sorry forgot to get back to you but glad you are around

if not you then am lost, clues please

OP posts:
slng · 31/10/2009 20:58

Auntie - good luck!

No T or T this end! Good.

Dolphin - know who you are.

dustythedolphin · 31/10/2009 21:14

SFX sent you an e-mail -

Sng Hi (waves)

I'd be grateful if no one "outs" me on here - thanks - have done this for a reason

Kewcumber · 31/10/2009 21:26

avoided going T&T by going to local pub which provided the worst & slowest face painter in the world but who was so sweet (and free) that you couldn;t really object. Amusingly you couldn;t really tell her different faces apart - cat/pumpkin/witch all really interchangable except colour. However DS wanting to be a green cat sort of threw a spanner into the works! Couldn;t tell what he was form the colour (witches hat and cloak didn;t provide any clues either!)

Kewcumber · 31/10/2009 21:48

Can anyone believe that it was three years ago today that I left for Kazakhstan? Any of you who were around - do you remember the thread...

"All my bags are packed I'm, ready to go..."

most exciting time/thread of my life.

you lot from MN were so fab when we got stuck out there, I'll never forget it.

sfxmum · 31/10/2009 22:20

are you getting sentimental?

OP posts:
Kewcumber · 31/10/2009 22:52

very - just reread the original thread with tears in my eyes - it bought it all back.

I have been so lucky.
