Not sure that I'll stray far from main entrance if that's ok with you all. My pushchair wheel is kaput I'll bring small pushchair but no buggy board. I think DS1 will be tired after roaming gardens with friends as he was up at 6am again and I don't fancy a long walk back to car with tired child.

sfx..can't think where dd got such notions. can't POSSIBLY be from my lot who have discussed nothing but ghouls, costumes and trick 'n'treating for the past month...
blimey, when i was a kid, a bit of apple dunking was our lot..an image of my ma's dentures stuck in an apple and bobbing in the bowl is still etched on my mind

steppie we only had All Souls and All Saints day so mass mass mass zero fun but we did have the Harvest festival which I guess is around this time

DS2 went for mega sleep all afternoon so DS1 and I curled up on sofa and watched Ice Age.

Have not planned anything for this weekend (other than night out in Cov Gdn!), we'll just see how we feel and may do Halloween stuff/disco, will text you if we decide to come along

Lovely to see various peeps this morning, vbus so sorry we were heading off just as you arrived! Just as well, though - ds had a long sleep at home - and so did I! Feeling quite under the weather with this blimming cold and dh appears to be coming down with something too - so we are at home in our pjs tonight instead of out on the razz, booo ....

Hallowe'en seems to be such a big thing now as opposed to when I was a girl - ie back in the dark ages. dd has been invited to several parties this weekend. Planning to do apple bobbing etc with the outlaws on Sunday, should be fun

Just put kids to bed after afternoon at friend's who did delicious tea for kids and all.

Nice to see people this morning. DC pleased with "new friends", though DS2 seems to be under the impression that one of them is called "lectric" ...

sfx - DS1 seems no worse than before for the runabout.

DS2 promises he will be quiet in the morning so there is no need for him to sleep in the garden.

Slng have bookclub on Sunday 1 Nov

SFX we'll be trick or treating in our road and the next road, its always a lively crowd and very lucrative

We are trying to head out to the supermarket to get out of the way of the cleaner but kids are having sock fight.

We are staying local - possibly a train trip to Ealing Broadway later to the library and lunch. DS1's cough not getting better ...
