Pc, own up, it's really because I said there was no cake wasn't it? No worries, don't blame you in this weather! I'm hoping ds1 will go for his wellies & raincoat & splash in the puddles, though I have to take spare trousers as its the end of the world if he gets them slightly damp!

pcworld · 17/04/2009 09:30

Tilly, how does it work at the toy library? Is today a play session or is it always a play session? I'm wondering if I should just brave it.

Same here - just a speck of damp and the whole outfit requires changing actually one thing on my list is to get a decent waterproof coat for dd, think it will have to be v boring and unfashionable as the one we got from M&S last year is next to useless in a heavy shower!

sfxmum · 17/04/2009 09:41

I think fussy over wetness requires this

ordering that should bring out the sun

am wasting time on FB while handing out tissues 'no mummy I am poorly I want chocolate biscuits for breakfast'

sfx lol

Pc, its always a play session, they put out the toys and the dcs go wild! Entry is free, and you can become a member (which you need to be to borrow the toys for £1 a week). There is a little courtyard as well for them to play in but doubt if they'll bother opening that up today

pcworld · 17/04/2009 13:31

Well here we are at home and ds asleep in cot so no toy library for us today! dd is watching Finding Nemo and the paints are coming out afterwards. Think I am going to end up at a chiro or osteo soon, a different part of my back is killing me today. BOO HOO!

Hope everyone is having an ok day despite the weather. Weekend tomorrow! Good weather forecast, too. Although it's alright for those of us who are heading off to Barcelona

Wonder how SJ is, not heard from her since news of impending visit to a whisky distillery

sfxmum · 17/04/2009 14:00

LOL pcW

I obviously have too much time on my hands and scant ability to concentrate so...
had a look at Britain got talent (!) the clip of Susan's performance
what a show of mean that was, horrid show, from what I saw, but the woman can sing much to their dismay

pcworld · 17/04/2009 19:19

LOL SFX! Sing, glad you had a good time.

Here, we ended up going out puddle jumping at 6.10pm, nice and wet. dd loved it!!!

Yes, let's do an evening extravaganza again soon. Wagamama has reopened, how about that one night?

slng · 17/04/2009 20:03

sfx - are you going same place? The beach is lovely, miles and miles of it. And sand dunes. Very amused at French beachwear though - woolly hat, scarf, coat, wellies and the lot! Probably why their children didn't come down with anything - DS2 a bit under the weather the later part of hols, probably due to too much sun (and frites).

sfxmum · 17/04/2009 20:07

somewhere in Stella plage I think details in the post, frites with mayo yum yum
