Got to dash now, my mum arrives imminently - and it is ds's first birthday today! Mum staying for a few days so may not be on here too much.

it can all be overwhelming at times, can't it? i think some way, some how, you've got to make sure you get some time to yourself so you feel like a human and not a frazzled domestic robot. i know you're a fellow coffee shop addict..and just getting out by yourself for a cappuccino and reading the paper helps.

sushi hope trip is bearable
meant to say it is nice they can see old playmates and teachers am sure it eases the transition

about Easter meet ups we will be doing the Kew Easter egg hunt as dd is very keen on it, this year she might even approach the bunny

otherwise be lovely to meet up with anyone when dd is not at nursery

Ds1 has actually been asleep for nearly 2 hrs now

DS has been ill for over a week and has the most enlarged glands in his neck I have ever seen (even on an adult never mind a child) on one side they are so enlarged (one side is as big as a golf ball though flatter and longer) that unless they go down in the next week GP is going to refer to a paediatrician. [scared emoticon]

Happy Birthday to PCW-DS I'm sure you're doing a fab job and don't need any tips. Enjoy your time with your mum.

Ended up at Bocketts farm yesterday (long story) but it was good fun, DS1 was in tractor heaven

I'm exhausted, DS2 surpassed his own sleep fighting record and was awake between 2-6.30pm It has been a long afternoon, roll on the weekend.

We're off to Wales next weekend not sure I'll be able to make it to meet up but do want to see th animals at some point, how long are they at Kew for?

Hello all,

I appeared briefly in January whilst pregnant, then kind of disappeared again. Now have 9 week old DS......and the fog is gradually lifting

Met up for the 1st time with SJ99 this morning, which was really nice. She said that there were some future meet-ups being discussed. Would love to meet some local mumsnetters - could I come too? I have Kew membership, if that helps

looks bright and shiny now dh seems to be on his way best get my trainers on

auntie so shiny red is it? do you realise if you were a man it would be called a mid life crisis
