Paddle is taking a break from MN and pretty much form teh internet in general - work is oretty manic and I think she just felt she was wasting too much time online. I know what she means

I'm guessing that she occasionally lurks though! Though she hasn;t admitted it!

She's on email if you want to contact her.

Cov come in for a coffee if you let me know when you're likely to this way on 15th

ComeOVeneer · 05/11/2008 21:15

Kew it will be me and the whole brood if that is ok.

Kewcumber · 05/11/2008 22:06

how many would that be COV? If just the run of the mill DH and DC's then I'm sure I will cope just fine, if assorted inlaws, other rellies and next door neighbour too I may wellhave to reconsider!

Victorysausages4Obama · 06/11/2008 07:57

at SFX's flounce

rosmerta · 06/11/2008 08:18

Morning all,

sfx, are we going to see your name in flouncers corner now?

Quiet day for us I think, not got much energy to do much!

mellow2 · 06/11/2008 09:01

MrsR - Good new re house. I wished we were so lucky.

Sausage - I didn't know you were such a big Obama fan.

The shop has been really busy even though they are all small orders. Christmas is definitely round the corner now. Best be getting on with my own Christmas shopping.

I must try to get out of the flat today or I might go stark raving mad.

Hope everyone is having a nice day, we've been out this morning, just having a relaxing afternoon now. Alternating glueing & painting with Monsters Inc!

sfxmum · 06/11/2008 16:20

LOL Ros I am getting worried about her too, maybe she has a stash by her desk

my very exciting afternoon has included laundry, ironing marinating stuff for dinner making an online food order
all made bearable by listening to loud Foos and Idlewild

mellow did you make it out?

stepfordwife · 06/11/2008 16:33

*caught up with work so haven't eaten (well did just wrestle ds1 to the ground for a bite of his chocolate hobnob...)
dh went out without feeding me. the cheek

  • don't worry about me wasting away....that would take a wee while..

you're marinating your ironing stuff?!

stepfordwife · 06/11/2008 16:36

does that enhance flavour?

mellow2 · 06/11/2008 17:27

Sfx -Thanks for your kind invite. We only managed to get out of the flat for some food shopping after lunch. I'm feeling far too lethargic to do anything else. I'll text you tomorrow.

sfxmum · 07/11/2008 09:29

good morning all

SJ dd had 'fairy dust' at Latutude which she liberally sprinkled on jolly festival goers

late start for us, some nightmares, at least it us sunny will take it easy.

my throat is threatening to misbehave got that prickly feeling which I hope will not develop into something to bother me

Victorysausages4Obama · 07/11/2008 09:31

Or a Glitter-Bump SJ

Am off work today with D&V bug

Can't seem to relax though and have been madly e-mailing work all morning to try and cover my own work

The good news is we have a tracker mortgage so we will deffo get the 1.5% cut agreed yesterday! The mortgage has already gone down about £200 a month in the last few months. Bad news is that our Tracker ends in Feb!!

Kew did you gt your mortgage sorted - I now have to start shopping for a our new one for Feb. Think I might go back to Abbey as they always pass on the rate cuts, unlike some of the other W Bankers

Victorysausages4Obama · 07/11/2008 09:34

SFX my big startedas a sore throat, achey limbs and feeling cold all he time. Now has spread to my Gastric bits

The kids are at school and DS2 at CM, so must try and concentrate on doing NOTHING

Victorysausages4Obama · 07/11/2008 09:35
