ros sympathy with I don't want to go out dd went through this to a degree that drove me nearly mad, in the end I thought it best to take care of myself first (go run) just quietly dressing her and saying we are going to see the cats downstairs or some such, all this without WE ARE GOING NOW or asking
didn't always work, the challenge was for me to stay cool - hope it passes soon
we went to Mela walked there and it was quite nice if a it soggy at times. dd loved the fairground type stuff and the music too she danced a lot when someone called Mona Singh was on all very bhangra/Bollywood which she loved particularly all the shiny outfits
we thought the police where a bit heavy handed at times with kids sporting cool haircuts, (at least seemed to be their only crime) otherwise a really nice atmosphere
