quick question for slng have you tried the cheese and chive loaf? was thinking of doing it for Friday otherwise will stick to parsnip carrot and rosemary which was delicious.

SJ the theatre sounds great must look out for performances in late July and August although the weather will probably be rubbish

mellow I still want a lovely beaded one, got lots of comments on my blue one, use it all the time, very strong too

sfx - not tried cheese and chive. Mainly do white loaf, and rosemary+raisin loaf. No parsnip these days in veg box... Tempted to try replacing parsnip with courgettes. What do you think?

courgette is a lot more wet iyswim, used to do a cake with it which was nice and very moist, so I guess there would be changes to be made.

I mostly do the multi seed and honey which is yum. If I can get parsnip will do that to eat with cheeses I think

Did anyone see the F word last night? I did the strawberry in balsamic vinegar (minus all the decoration) and the kids wolfed them down and now there's only a tiny portion left to be shared between me and dh... Shall I eat that one up too before he comes home?

I would it is delicious but I don't watch telly cooking programmes can't stand the bloke and al the celebrity weirdness

can't quite hear Kew Swing this year just the fireworks last night, keeping fingers crossed for dry weather on Saturday

Don't feel like a fight now after those lovely strawberries and homemade custard. Yum.

We couldn't hear it either SFX - I reckon the've been told to lower the volume this year

Has anyone ever gone through a day (or even 1 hour) without saying "hurry up"?

We "hurried up" and got to nursery on time just to wait 10 f*king minutes for somebody to answer the f*king door.

Wind must have been in my direction then because it was loud enough in my house to sing along to - not helped by the fact that no loft hatch at the moment so music was coming form above too!

Yes we've heard firewirks in the evening too. Hope you have good weather Sfx. We were lucky not a drop of rain Tues night but I felt sorry for those watching the play last night, they would've got soaked.

I put courgettes in my loaf, thought it was too much but actually worked out just right, nice and moist.

Feel like I'm forever list making atm with all the jobs/packing I need to do in the coming wks. Well best crack on as DM has taken DS to artytots, they'll be back before I know it

Sfx - our postie comes around 11.30am so I'll be keeping a beady eye on him
