Paddlechick666 · 01/06/2008 21:03

Dd up half the night and neughbours kept me up other half! Dd awake at 6:30 so we both napped for an hour.
Had lovely arvo at pitcher & piano followed by wagamamas tho. Foxie, your old lodger and his Irish friend send their love.
Hope broadband fixed by tomorrow!

rosmerta · 01/06/2008 21:29

ds was also up half the night last night. Ended up taking him into bed with me about 12-ish & then he slept (across the bed!).

Went swimming this morning & it was very packed! ds kept making friends though, was very sweet to watch!

fitfox · 01/06/2008 22:01

Where did you swim Ros? I have a lovely maternity dress which would suit you - will bring next time I see you

PC - spooky as I was thinking of him this arvo!!! Wondering how he was doing [cyber waves to him and big sleeping vibes to you]

bunyanvillas · 01/06/2008 22:02

Gosh, gosh what a talkative lot you are, I don't have time to catch up - how is everyone? SFX, how was the party, were you a shadow of your former self by the end Have had a lovely time with my mum/family and now everyone has gone and as of tomorrow it's back to porridge! Actually quite literally as I think we'll have some for breakfast SJ, sorry to hear about house stress, what a pain. Paddle - any special plans for tomorrow? Right, off to bed - ds is averaging 3 times a night feeding at the moment, why is it always everyone else's babies who "sleep through the night from six weeks"

Kewcumber · 01/06/2008 22:22

why is it always everyone else's babies who "sleep through the night from six weeks" - becasue they lie bunyan

I'm off most of the week though have a few thigns to do - trying to decide whetehr to attempt Kidzone in the morning. Have man coming to fiddle with my plumbing in the afetrnoon.

Kewcumber · 01/06/2008 22:22

sfxmum · 01/06/2008 22:39

paddle I hope you get some proper sleep tonight - have a lovely time tomorrow, and that is an order

KC mil wants your boy, there is a really cute pic that I will have to post later

we had a nice time with in-laws today but stayed local, tomorrow it will be just the 3 of us except for breakfast when the grandparents will come bearing gifts. then maybe to the Natural History Museum , will see how the day pans out and what her royal highness wants to do

night night all

stepfordwife · 01/06/2008 23:03

hello everyone
how you all diddling?
aching from a day of cleaning/sorting my ma's house as she's slightly out of action due to broken elbow/strained groin/lack of will

dh just wishes i applied the same work ethic to our own house..

rewarded myself with some glug-glug time and watching re-runs of friends (such a joy when there's one yu haven't seen)..actually caught on to friends about 10 years after veryone else..

maybe i'll like desperate housewives, etc one day too...

sfx, thanks for a lovely party. dd had a ball.hmm, yes, whistle looks nice, shame it doesn't bloody sound so nice though, eh? eh?

lovely to see everyone and what damn gorgeous children we've got..

paddle..i watched a bit of audience with neil diamond..like him but brings back painful memories of a plump 13-year-old steppie stuffed into a blue leotard dancing (i use that term very loosely) to song sung blue at some school performance (er, that is neil diamond, right?)
toodlepip

stepfordwife · 01/06/2008 23:05

and thanks for starting book swap thread, ros..
mind you, feel a bit under pressure - is everyone as erudite as sfx and her bloody (elusive) french novelists?

stepfordwife · 01/06/2008 23:07

and, yes, bunyan..it's true..they lie
or drug their offspring..

Kewcumber · 01/06/2008 23:07

Kewcumber · 01/06/2008 23:08

Kewcumber · 01/06/2008 23:14

that would be lovely, I'll invite Jilly too... (anyone else welcome - I'm not used to this non-working status and having to plan stuff to do!)

stepfordwife · 01/06/2008 23:18

Paddlechick666 · 02/06/2008 06:57

so dd is still asleep. Always non a weekday, never a weekend.
Broadband still playing up. Really ought to get arse in gear and go into office but ..............
hoping it'll come back up soon

ComeOVeneer · 02/06/2008 10:14

Morning all. Right I need motivation, fab as my trip was it has left me with a reminder (a 5lb reminder to be precise). So it is out with the vino, chocs etc for a few weeks. Am aiming to drop 1.5lbs by mid AUgust in time for our holiday.

Am interested in the book swap (as long as it isn't too high brow) - are we actaully expected to read some books or just swap them? My "to read" pile on my bedside table is starting to look pretty precarious - although I did shorten it by 1 last week

MrsRecycle · 02/06/2008 10:20
