Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2008 09:55

well, not actually that many SFX. just wanted to give the impression of having had an exciting and debauched life pre-dd

oh god I am completely over excited about Glasto now.

not good! i need to regain my usual frame of mind when it comes to anything to do with H: until he actually shows up and we are on the way expect it not to happen.

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 09:59

it must be my old age that makes me consider the Tangerine fields option with the private entrance flushable toilets and hot showers
still if my tent, still at my sister's house is in an unusable state it might be worth the fee

must pull self together and start the day, child is making impatient noises in the background

SJ99 · 16/06/2008 10:00

Am excited for you going to Glasto!
LOL at thought or exes receiving reunion email

Sfx - I was there too watching RATM, loved it! I don't mind camping, I quite enjoy it and can cope for one night, looking forward to it

SJ99 · 16/06/2008 10:01

Yes enough festival chat, must go & do a bit of cooking now

ComeOVeneer · 16/06/2008 11:16

Morning all. Have sent dh to work with a huge box, of very girly cupcakes . Chocolate cupcaakes, with a mocha cream filling, topped with either chocolate ganache and a pink sugarpaste sparkly dress, or covered in choc flavoured embossed fondany (over mocha cream) with a pink sparkly flower and silver balls!!!

Told him he could use them to bribe the secretaries to push his work to the top of the pile!!! Much as I love cake making I'm not such a great fan of eating them (a good thing tbh), so have to ship them out otherwise the LO's would stuff themselves.

Just been on the search for a new kitchen tap as ours in leaking. Anything half way decent is around £70! The one I liked was £160! Think I will get a "real" plumber (ie not dh) to take a look at it (just for a second opinion of course ) before it is written off.

ComeOVeneer · 16/06/2008 11:16

Meant to add, hope you fell better soon Steppy!

ComeOVeneer · 16/06/2008 11:36

fitfox · 16/06/2008 12:14

I meant to say that I do like a bit of Seasick Steve

His "bot" doesn't really float my boat TBH!!

bunyanvillas · 16/06/2008 12:22

PC if it's not on catch-up I just might have to take you up on your offer. I need my last Rob Lowe fix until the next series (please tell me there is one?)

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 12:25

I do believe there is another one according to TV.com Bunyan

Paddle/SJ I found some compilation of bands at this years Latitude on LastFM, quite nice and am looking forward to bands I never heard of

Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2008 12:37

bunyan it's on E4 at 10pm tonight.

i just found Lost Series 3 on TV Choice on Demand too - kewl!

i am so so so definately buying my own campervan. will wait till autumn tho when they will be cheaper.

if i can't get a career break for 6m next year then i will just take a month off and do europe then.

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 12:39

actually regarding Brothers and sisters there are 4 more episodes according to listings. I have noticed that sky drops reminders of non sky series on a regular basis

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 12:41

link to mix tape paddle

Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2008 12:46

TV+ from Virgin will only show a series link if there is something waiting to be watched which is how i missed it last night. that and the fact that I thought it was on Fiver not E4

tx for the link, if i download it how do I get it into iTunes oh wise and geeky one?

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 12:51

don't think so it is in some sort of zip file d h I had to open and sort out but I don't use itunes so might be different

Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2008 12:56

hmm, i need to buy software to unzip it.

bum

tx anyway tho

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 12:58

might be ok for windows and btw that is the joy of open source imo

Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2008 13:01

lol, just remembered The Verve are playing at Glasto too.

There's a Glasto 2008 compilation on iTunes but at £20 i think i'll pass.

nothing for Latitude tho......

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 13:05

have you tried lastFM? lots of people with links to events and file sharing

saw a few on Pirate Bay too but that would be illegal

sfxmum · 16/06/2008 13:06

speaking of the Verve saw RA shopping at Waitrose in Richmond a few weeks back very odd

Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2008 13:14

RA in Waitrose

just done a bit of pre-packing and already have too much!

Kewcumber · 16/06/2008 14:33

if I knew who either RA or the Verve were, no doubt I would be impressed too [square emoticon]

MrsRecycle · 16/06/2008 14:37

gosh all this talk of TV programmes is making me . I just about manage to watch 15 mins of Corrie a week (if I'm lucky) and that's it. dh came home from work last night and prompty sent me to bed as I looked shattered. Then ds started screaming the house down and I spent 2 hours trying to get him to sleep. Argh well, only 6 more weeks left of this "Full time Mum dealing with 3 LOs business" and then I'm a SAHM yipeee.

And bless him, dh even set his alarm for an half an hour earlier (5.20am) to get up and tidy up the house. And he's been working all weekend.

Have old AP from Canada staying tonight/tomorrow, am so looking forward to catching up with her (as are the LOs).

Steppie, definitely sounds like the bug I had last week, if you can, try and have a day of rest, it really helped me. I still have the headache but I think ds is something to do with that. Hope you feel better soon.

Foxie, I take it you aren't having a party for ds1 then - I remember last years' was quite stressful for you. Are you sure you can't go away for those 3 days? When ds was in Hospital, he was nil by mouth for 3 days and I had no problems with my supply/reattachment afterwards - in fact I had so much milk, my freezer was stocked up with a weeks worth of EBM. You might need a break but then, sometimes it's just not worth it with all the juggling of childcare and the upset routine (I speak from experience after just one night of a babysitter on Saturday night!), is it?

Richard Ashcroft.

You would probably recognise a few tracks from this album.
