morning all, I was supposed to go to the hospital this morning but gave up after waiting for a bus for 30mins! Will have to try & go tomorrow morning now with toddler in tow

There's Summer open day at DS's nursery this Sat 10am to 1pm, if you are interested. Bouncy castle and some food samples. We might go if the weather is nice/OK. this

CM reports dd grumpy and won't eat lunch. Quite worried tbh. Can't really take any time off and we're due to go away for the weekend. Apart from that I really don't want poor little girl not feeling well.
Working mother syndrome of just not doing anything properly or well weighing heavily on me at the mo....

paddle, try not to beat yourself up, you've got so much on your plate at the minute & we know you're doing everything you can as best as you can.

Am pleased to report ds seems to be back to napping

dd now thinks she is entitled to chocolate cake / ice cream / various other party foods for breakfast lunch and dinner

sushi might pop along for a bit on Saturday

paddle they all have off days don't beat yourself up about it

I think grown ups should be entitled to naps

COV - yes have spent hrs trying to thread back but because it's through elastic it doesn't work. I took them to a tailor and they said it was difficult & expensive job, hence might as well buy new pair!

Ros - can't commit to book swap as I've no idea where we'll be in July! I'll just have to let you know nearer the time if that's ok.

Hi Mellow - that's a pity, sorry can't do Thurs as taking DS to hospital, not sure what time we'll finish. Fri may just a have a quiet one depends how DS is after docs (not sure if they will be doing tests or not this time), I can ring you Fri am if you like?
