SJ it will not be amputated

slng it will come out ok I guess I actually have maple sypup at home atm

slng · 20/03/2008 14:46

If I get voted in as London mayor I'd ensure all chocolate is fitted with homing device.

sfxmum · 20/03/2008 14:58

  • look the fairy is doing it

don't be silly daddy my fairy does not do wee wees she has no bits

dh needs anatomy lessons

mellow2 · 20/03/2008 15:17

SJ,
Don't worry. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Paddle,
I can't believe your boss stood you up again. If it were me, I would complain officially.

SJ99 · 20/03/2008 18:30

Thanks for support, well I needn't have worried, apptmt was all fine. No permanent damage, just need to apply some cream and toenail will heal itself, what a relief.

LOL at mini-sfx, not much gets past her Hope you find the choc thief and that they haven't eaten the evidence. I'm going to Kingston tom as need to do chocolate run so let me know if you need me to get anything for you (can you guess which shop I'm heading for?! )

SJ99 · 20/03/2008 18:32

Fairy lights in the woods sounds extremely enchanting, can't wait!

Paddlechick666 · 20/03/2008 18:42

evening all, i've had my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed! oooooh i feel decadent (sp?)

kew, sorry about lunch.

dd is being such a cutie at the moment. suppose we'll have to start thinking about getting her out of nappies soon

fairy lights in the woods sounds great. i feel more and more capable of doing this trip. when i bought the tix it was somewhat an act of bravado.......

sj, glad toe is going to be okay.

sfx with choc theif on your behalf.

i have done nothing in the way of chocolate eggs this year. kind neighbour donated some leftovers from their ds' party last weekend and dd has been steadily munching thru it this week - as rationed by mean mummy

expecing GPs will deliver the goods when they visit on monday thereby letting moi of the hook.

going back to the ironing convo, i have 2 shirts that need ironing and that's it. nothing else gets done and i do it while dd isn't around so that she isn't exposed to the evil influence!

Kewcumber · 20/03/2008 20:41

stood up foran eyebrow wax

Just uploading some photos onto facebook for those on it.

sfxmum · 20/03/2008 21:51

hello all

SJ glad to hear toe is fine. the order was from that shop, we got a refund but the choc thief is as yet unknown, dh is looking in the electoral reg in case this person signed their own name

might pop to Kingston myself

paddle the wax sounds great, must visit Ros friend. as for the festival we will help it will be lovely. what is that you call it diffused parenting

KC dd was telling her cousins about your ds apparently she has not forgotten about the bath date

had a lovely early dinner with dh for our anniversary, mow having second dessert (ice cream) very nice to chat and eat without interruption and having to tell stories about dd the fairy princess who takes a trip aboard the ninky nonk or thomas but oh no she hears a rumbling and it is her tummy so she must eat something....

anyway lovely babbysitters where tired so we had a shirt outing.

stepfordwife · 20/03/2008 22:18

Great pics QC, gherkin looks adorable

sfxmum · 21/03/2008 11:28

good morning all

KC lovely pics

SJ I thin k I will stay home and just go to marks for the egg both dh&dd look a bit overtaxed and grumpy.

I left a message on the notice board so still have some hope, but will forever be wondering what sort of person does that

thanks for congratulations, we went to Carluccios because it is near the station, nip in nip out, and very yummy too.

I could feel the overindulgence as I tried to haul myself along the river path

mellow sorry again about this week the party is tomorrow and I will be without pressies as both wanted your bags let me know when I can pop over next week will then mail it to them

it is sunny but pretty raw out there
hope you all have a nice day

rosisdreamingofchocolate · 21/03/2008 13:54

Hi all, have been out to the park this morning & we're off swimming this afternoon followed by tea out as a treat!

Funnily enough, I'm off to Kingston tomorrow, where's this fantastic choc shop then?

Sj, glad your toe's ok and no amputating in sight!

sfxmum · 21/03/2008 16:39

Ros here

still no sign of it

rosisdreamingofchocolate · 21/03/2008 18:29

thanks sfx, will definitely go there tomorrow!

ComeOVeneer · 21/03/2008 19:17

HI all. Well I have spent a large amount of time today cake making, but we went to a local pub for lunch and an easter egg hunt (across the road from dd's school) £1.50 entrance fee per child and half of that goes to the school. We inundated (sp?)them so think we may have raised £40 for the school. Dh has taken dd on a "date" this evening, pizza express then cinema (Dr. Seuss film), then will be home shortly to cook for the 2 of us. Hope everyone is having a lovely extended weekend.

SJ99 · 21/03/2008 19:27

Kingston was pretty packed today, go to Krispy Kreme too, they gave me free donut

DH really ill with stomach & head ache. He's been asleep since I got back at 3pm

SFx - Carluccios, yum! Hope you managed to get some replacement eggs

Cov - well done on fund raiser

Will try and go swimming tomorrow if DH better

Hope everyone having a good weekend

slng · 21/03/2008 21:00

Went to Hounslow urban farm. Is that place Siberia or what - it was FREEZING.

Forecast says it's going to snow tonight!

sfxmum · 21/03/2008 21:15

there has been so much talk of snow we will probably end up with just a dusting, if that.
dd will very disappointed she was planning in a snow man and was telling me we needed to go to the shop to get a sleigh

SJ no I could not bring myself to buying replacements

fitfox · 21/03/2008 22:07

Hiya

Happy Anniversary SFX - sounds as though you had a fab evening.

Any sign of YOUR chocolate yet????

Paddle - festival sounds fantastic. We are going to a campsite in Normandy shortly and I am getting cold feet - am sure it will be freezing (although we are in a caravan with heating). Am sure we will get lost/miss ferry etc etc

Oh well it will do us all good to get away and spend some time together. This is out £97.50 holiday - 5 days in Normandy, incl ferry. Will be interesting to see what its like.

We spend about 3 hrs in Tescos this morning and I bought the most food shopping I have ever bought! The other people in the queue were all laughing at our trolley. They guy in front gave us all his school vouchers and the couple behind were helping. It was very sweet - I have never seen Tescos so crowded.

Were going to go to Fair this arvo but it felt a bit icy outside so stayed in a ate chocolate instead

So who is deffo going to Kew egg hunt on Sunday: SFX?? We will go if its dry I think - if its snowing that would be fabulous.

Thanks for asking about DS2 BTW. His impetigo has nearly gone, finger is clearing up and hopefully his inner ear is healing after ear drum burst. GP reckons the vomiting bug may have depleted is immune system as he had it for so long.

Oh why oh why can't the weather get a bit better? I mean it was sunny today but freezing cold.

fitfox · 21/03/2008 22:11

Paddle - has your boss cancelled your appraisal 4 times??

Has he got a PA - you could e-mail her saying please could she let you know when you will have an appraisal as it has been cancelled ** times. Maybe she can pin him down to actually turning up. What a cretin - is he trying to provoke you into taking out a grievance against him?
