if you want to spend twice as much this one is bigger www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/lg-gb7143a2pw1-fridge-freezer-brushed-steel-05123749-pdt.html but still 60cm

sfxmum · 18/03/2011 23:00

yes I think your kitchen is a least twice as big as mine, will consider first one, the last one far too fancy for meGrin

OP posts:
sfxmum · 18/03/2011 23:03

thanks for suggestions are you bored?

OP posts:
Kewcumber · 18/03/2011 23:08

a littel bored 0 full of cold and can;t bear going to bed and sleeping badly again.

Its not the size of the kitchen darling, its what you do with it. And besides its really about the size of the space and I out my own kitchen in hence space for poncey american fridge freezer. My Beko is seriously good, do consider them as they are dirt cheap- must have had it a year now and no problmes.

sfxmum · 18/03/2011 23:24

we have had ours a small Candy for 6 years works fine but we over fill and then problems come up, also too much ice

dd has cold too she has steam( just boiling water with olbas oil) in her room to help her go to sleep
but I can her her sniffling away and talking to herself it will be hard to settle

hope you sleep better than you expect
I am quite tired think it is time for my book and my bed

Hello!

Frost this morning. Poor daffodils. But seem to have recovered now.

2 chilli seeds have germinated! Yeah!

sfxmum · 20/03/2011 10:23

hope everyone is having a nice weekend, some time alone this morning, bliss
instead of lie in went plodding along running, lovely morning

OP posts:
UptoapointLordCopper · 20/03/2011 18:44

Pub lunch and walks. And watched "How to train your dragon" on DVD. Not like book but excellent movie.

As a result did not get time to put up tent...

vbus · 20/03/2011 19:32

Copper - sounds nice

Sfx - good to have some me time. This was the same Gwyn article I read a few wks ago Grin

Kora - did you buy tickets? I do love Brixton Academy, I went last year, such a fab venue (memory wise anyway!)

Night out was good but must've got a bug as threw up Saturday morning (and no it wasn't the drink before you ask!). Got over it quickly thankfully as had friends over today so also went for pub lunch, nice day for it

Kora · 20/03/2011 20:11

Poor you vbus getting ill, but well done for heroically bouncing back! And Sfx, I'm sure you deserve a bit of a lie in and me time, hope it was good. Copper - well done on getting chilies to sprout, mine failed miserably so I'll have to get gardening tips. The Gwyn article was hilarious btw - I find it hard to wake up without a personal trainer, but somehow I just about manage Grin.

Must be the weekend for pub lunches. We went for one on Saturday, so nice, it even felt warmish in the sun. We were out and about as we bought DD1 her first bike, it's an Ebay purchase so I was a bit nervous, but works even though it's definitely "well-loved". She's just about getting used to it. Had first fall already, but manages to move along with stabilisers so she's happy.

Very exciting news is that I did buy tickets for Brixton Academy in the end. I was mentioning to DH that I might see if one of you lovely ladies would like to go along, when he piped up to say that actually he rather fancied it. So I've seized the moment as he's usually not that enthusiastic about gigs these days. Ah nothing more romantic than a dark room, loud guitars and beer on your shoes... Wink We could only get tickets in seated area, the stalls sold out, or maybe the ticket company have my age details and just defaulted me to that area... Still up for going to other gigs, so just let me know if any inspiration comes.

Time for Brew. Have a good week everyone.

sfxmum · 20/03/2011 20:56

hello

copper sounds nice hope your week goes well and is reasonably stress free

kora well done on tickets do enjoy your evening, I love that venue so many memories and the seated area is not over civilized Grin

vbus glad you enjoyed night out sorry about the sickness it happens

dd made us proud today cycling all the way to Richmond Park for her riding lesson (near Robin Hood gate)Shock she was well pooped afterwards and missed the birthday party early afternoon

anyway she was well enough for dinner at the Botanist where she insited on telling everyone it was out anniversary. and how old we were, and that her uncle had not made it to 1yr wedding anniversary, which was sad, but his not now wife was a bit silly Blush

you really can't take them out after a certain age

Have just read the GOOP thing. GP does not believe in paragraphs, does she? And I totally disapprove of having super sugary cupcakes just before bed. Tsk tsk tsk. Grin

sfxmum · 20/03/2011 21:18

somehow I don't think she eats cupcakes do you?Grin

please give me a personal trainer a housekeeper and a PA so my life can be terribly busy as well
let's just throw in some international travel once in a while so I can count myself exhausted

OP posts:
UptoapointLordCopper · 20/03/2011 22:06

She feeds the super sugary cupcakes to her children. Shock What would the dentist say! But it's all about balance, apparently. Some brown rice and lemon flavoured flax oil will offset sugary snack before bed. Hmm Grin

It's easy to be super busy. Just be disorganised. I can teach you how. Send tenner in the post. Grin

sfxmum · 21/03/2011 10:49

copper I see a business opportunity there, lifestyle coach

kora meant to add it is lovely to watch their enthusiasm and pride trying out a new bike

I really must learn how to ride mine, they set me a challenge to learn in 2 weeks or else...Hmm

somehow I managed to fall asleep within minutes of going to be but woke up at 3 for not reason I can fathom, stayed there staring at the ceiling for about an hour then got up and went to tidy the kitchen and read a book until 5.30 still took me to 6 to fall asleep up again just over an hr later
still so far very productive day
waiting for some sunshine before heading out I think, it has more therapeutic value

hope everyone is well

vbus · 21/03/2011 13:07

Hello all

How is everyone?

Well done to Kora DD1 and minisfx on bike triumphs Smile DS1 certainly more keen to ride now weather is better

Kora - LOL at being defaulted to seated zone Grin don't let that stop you bopping away in the aisles

Sfx - you can always count on the LO's to tell the truth Grin

just having Brew Cannot seem to access my email Confused, anyone having trouble with yahoo? Feeling alright, I usually instantly feel much better once my body has rejected the bug. Anyway better get on with surf shopping

SushiMummy · 21/03/2011 15:18

Good afternoon, all!

My friend and her family in Sendai are safe! She just emailed me saying the electricity/water/gas returned to normal this morning and got internet connection this afternoon. I am so relieved (cried reading her email in the office Blush).

stepfordwife · 21/03/2011 16:40

dustythedolphin · 21/03/2011 20:59

Sushi that is brilliant news - you must be so relieved, hence tears glad to hear that some kind of normailty is retruning for some ppl :)

Steppie glad you had a nice pampering weekend, Grin at double booking @ home :)

UptoapointLordCopper · 21/03/2011 22:00

sushi - phew!

Easter craft time. One more of these school activities and I will completely lose it.

Kora · 21/03/2011 22:50

Sushi - so glad to hear your good news about family and friends! Smile Completely natural response to such an extraordinarily stressful situation.

Steppie, pampering sounds magnificent. Recently saw telly ad for bathroom DIY stuff with little girl bouncing into bathroom while mum tries to have some RnR time and all the baby toys fall into the bath, and it did rather strike a chord. Ah well, I did have a lovely spa day when preggers, so mustn't grumble...

Copper, know how you feel about craft activities. I read the school newsletters to find out what homework "I" need to prepare for next!
