in the boiler saga it appears our problems are far worst than we thought, back to no hot water or heating and there seems to be carbon monoxide escaping, looks like we have to deal with a few people before this gets any better
at least the 'specialist' seemed to know what was happening

sfx, sounds like a nightmare , hope you manage to get it fixed quickly

Had sickness bug on Monday Feeling better now think it was 24hr thing, just tired and hope Dc managed to avoid it

Tilly - have booked off 19th with Dh so happy to go for 8pm showing if suits you? Copper/Sfx - do you want to come along or will you both go in morning?

Sfx - sorry to hear about boiler situation, hope they can fix so you don't have to buy new boiler. You're welcome round for showers/baths!

had nice quiet day on weekly visit to aunt but no tube, overground and buses were busy
cake sale at school and daughter kindly brought some home, I can't say no
also about time to make parkin love the recipe I have been sing for the past few years

I've just realised I can't do the 19th, sorry, already got something on that I can't back out of. Could you do 20/21/22 instead?

I wouldn't mind coming if its either during school or an evening when I can persuade my mum to babysit. so for me Daytime weds and thurs 17 & 18 or evening 18th or 19th or 20th. As there are four of us perhaps we could do two pairs? Can I feel one of tillys doodly things coming on?!

When is Copper free? maybe she will have the casting vote

Have just been feeling a bit run down but have self-medicated with chicken soup with a hefty amount of white pepper in it. Really warms you up.

I can only do Tuesday or Friday morning (Friday earlier than Tuesday since school finishes earlier on Friday.) It's looking a bit complicated now, isn't it? I think I'll give it a miss and get it out on DVD later!

anyway no idea where this week has gone absolutely nothing achieved apart from keeping routine more or less together

am starting to look for a job there seem to be some low paid low grade in my field about maybe I will just join an agency and do a few shifts but it will no be any time before the new year CRB alone takes ages

dh went for an interview and they were disorganised and had not put a panel together so it was a wasted journey

Got school fireworks dispaly tonight, DS1 well excited as am I

will cehck with my mum tomorrow but she's HAving DS 6-8pm anyway so I'm sure she won;t mind having him over night.

School fireworks were pretty good, weather was v.warm

Dh should land any minute now, can you tell I'm counting the minutes! Received huge bunch of flowers from him yesterday which was a lovely surprise. DS1 said he was v. excited to see daddy as he'd missed him. then added that daddy doesn't usually go away for many years and said he'd forgotten what he looked like

Lovely sunshine through the kitchen (made rainbows through glass bowl!) and dark skies out of the windows of the living room. We'll head south today, I think.

Fruit cake in the oven. Bread sticks to go in next. Yum!
