Vbus we loved blindisde too - great fillum :)

dustythedolphin · 14/10/2010 22:31

SFX its nice to be asked though isn't it ...about the surgeon I mean? I would have just said "a good looking one" Grin

Copper - naughty teacher eating junk food in class Angry

sfxmum · 14/10/2010 22:42

yes dusty a good looking surgeon to look at my insides and my drooling lopsided mouth Grin that ought to make it worthwhile

the last surgeon I met who was about to do a D&C said 'hello I am mr.whatever this should not take long, there is no baby there just taking the sac out and obviously as with any surgery there are risk, the uterus might be perforated in which case we might have to remove it, but it is not likely to happen'

all this while I was in pre op room strapped to monitors and slightly off my head on some good dope, so if I get a little more charm and an improved bedside manner it will be a winner but mostly a competent one would be great

about Blind Side, is it not too sentimental? a bit like Precious I have avoided them on that assumption, am I wrong?

OP posts:
sfxmum · 14/10/2010 22:43

and copperShock stuffing her face in the classroom!

OP posts:
UptoapointLordCopper · 15/10/2010 08:23

Re: teacher with junk food I've only had hearsay from 5-6YOs so don't know how reliable. Grin Somehow it doesn't bother me that much.

UptoapointLordCopper · 15/10/2010 10:35

Bored.

sfxmum · 15/10/2010 11:44

sleep deprived and cranky, dragged self out for a few miles, feel better

OP posts:
vbus · 15/10/2010 15:00

Sfx - LOL, great tactic Grin Blindside was a bit sentimental but deffo not mushy, it was a well made film IMO

Copper - bad luck on inside out top Blush Are you away at half term?

Friends coming over for dinner tonight and then off to Wales tom for dad's retirement party. Busy wkend but should be fun!

sfxmum · 15/10/2010 17:44

well dh did go, texted me in despair couple of times and arrived home a tad frazzled, it is comforting to know I am not the only one who finds it all too much to bear Hmm

OP posts:
sfxmum · 15/10/2010 17:44

vbus hope you have a great time in Wales

OP posts:
vbus · 15/10/2010 18:02

Oh dear, did Dd enjoy herself though?

UptoapointLordCopper · 15/10/2010 18:19

Hello!

We had a good time visiting a new friend. Then very nice fish and chips for tea.

sfx - so what happened with DH? Did he get roped into whatever activity projected?

sfxmum · 15/10/2010 18:40

yes he did,in fairness I did warn him about it, it is mostly that the mother and child combo is just too frazzling, we can handle ours but sometimes when the other child is given free reign with intermittent unfocused shouting it really gets a bit too much

so now we know

fish and chips reminds me of the seaside have not had it in ages

OP posts:
vbus · 15/10/2010 19:30

Decided to have fish and chips for lunch tom, can't wait! Full on moring taking DS1 & pal to footy then picking bro from station. No time to cook/wash up and then we're setting off straight after lunch.

Right kids to bed, better get ready for guests.

Enjoy your weekend Smile

UptoapointLordCopper · 16/10/2010 10:29

Good morning!

Sausage sandwiches for breakfast, chocolate cake out of the oven, sun is shining. It's all downhill from here, isn't it? Grin

dustythedolphin · 16/10/2010 14:04

Yes Blindside a bit muchy but not too mushy - more about the ability of a person from a deprived background conquering the odds

Going to see Despicable Me this evening with the neighpours and our kids

School Ceili next Friday so that should be embarassing as I can't dance for toffee Blush, mind you the Guinness should help lossen the joints

We get a Halloween bank holiday on 25 :)

dustythedolphin · 16/10/2010 14:05

Anyone going trick or treating?

Does anyone know where I can source a good quality dismembered hand, with delivery to Europe? Grin

dustythedolphin · 16/10/2010 14:11

...it needs to be freshly severed and preferably possessed

sfxmum · 16/10/2010 18:03

OP posts:
dustythedolphin · 17/10/2010 15:20
