Pamela - Bile Duct Cancer, thread 4, London has given me a chance!

New thread as I see the old one is about the run out.

If you see this Pamela, just wanted to share some hope, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 2018 and was given 9 months to live, incurable.

He had his first Chemo in September that year, and after the fourth session we could see a positive change and he got progressively better.

He’s had three Chemo’s with 6 treatments every third weeks for 6 months at a time. He’s got the cancer in three parts of his body, peritoneal, myocardial and plural Mesothelioma.

The thing is, he’s still here and on Sunday he took a flight to Malaga with our oldest daughter. They are currently on a day trip to Grenada! 😊

The thing is, he’s still here with us and living a good life even though it has its ups and downs. He is the most positive person I know. Truly inspiring. When he was first diagnosed he was very ill just like you are now.

I hope our story would give you some hope when all looks dark. God bless. x

I don't post everyday but I do check this thread several times a day and wonder how you are doing. Im so glad it looks like chemo starts tomorrow. While there is a treatment option there is hope. And hope is all that matters!

I hope your mum and Jacob have arrived safely and that you're not finding it too overwhelming to let them see you poorly and weak.

You look radiant and your smile made me smile to myself even though seeing you suffer brings painful memories of my own cancer journey.

All the best tomorrow. Let's hope chemo kills at least some of these bastard cells.

I think most of us are on this thread because we want you to see that you are in our thoughts and prayers - we don't need to be acknowledged or thanked. We just want to be sure that anytime you choose to check the thread, it will be clear that so many of us have you in our thoughts as we go about our days. We are all rooting for you

personally I just wanted to say 'thank you' for all the photos be they cats, dogs, flowers, deer, beaches, scenery... whatever. It's lovely to see them xx

my broken poodle .. wishing you a good rest now pamela. bottom line..if you cannot update do not update!! I am sure if it was a real bad time that you wanted shared that Kerr would update us.
