Thinking of you and cheering you on. So glad you're making progress with the treatment, even if though it's been an absolute feat of endurance for you. I'm willing you on to keep putting one (metaphorical) foot in front of the other xx

petuniasandpetals · 11/07/2023 15:45

Hi Pamela
I'm so relieved you are able to post - you are in my thoughts x

Batalax · 11/07/2023 15:45

Good luck with the chemo xx

WinterCarlisle · 11/07/2023 15:53

Afternoon Pamela, thought you might like to see a moth (I think it’s a moth, might be a butterfly - not my area of expertise) that landed on my DS’s shorts yesterday. He was sooooo pleased with himself and now figures he’s some sort of Dr Doolittle.

Thinking of you all x

SlightlyJaded · 11/07/2023 15:54

Hello Lovely. Please don't feel obliged to update or apologise for lack of updates. I think most of us are on this thread because we want you to see that you are in our thoughts and prayers - we don't need to be acknowledged or thanked. We just want to be sure that anytime you choose to check the thread, it will be clear that so many of us have you in our thoughts as we go about our days. We are all rooting for you.

No D-Dog today, but here are the Deer in Richmond Park this afternoon. They are just coming to the end of birthing season and it looks like all the boys are having a little break from the maternity wards!

Oh Pamela, it’s so lovely to read your message. Like everyone else, you are in my thoughts every day and I am sending you so much love and support. You’re truly amazing.

loulouljh · 11/07/2023 15:55

I think here people want to post regardless of any updates so as and when Pamela is able to look she can see the support is ongoing. As it is. x

Nottogetapenny · 11/07/2023 16:03

Thank you for posting, It’s so good to hear from you! You are amazing, so please you have had some progress. Hopefully your pains are now manageable and you can get the rest you need.
You have so many people thinking of you and sending millions of good wishes. 🙏🌸🍀😘

HelpIcantfindaname · 11/07/2023 16:03

I think of you every day Pamela, & check mumsnet often each day to see how you are. So happy to see your post today. I think you are amazing the way you keep posting when you are feeling so ill.

Hope the port insertion has gone OK. I've been told I can have one next time I need chemo, I had a Hickman line last time & it was a bit of a pain.

Adding another picture to hopefully help you smile. It's the fairy garden we made this summer. 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧚

I too am so relieved you are able to post, don't feel you have to if you are feeling too unwell or have had so little sleep you haven't the energy. However, really appreciate the effort to update so we don't all Fear The Worst! Please God may the chemo work quickly and effectively. My understanding is you can live a normal life with 20% liver function, there's a huge reserve capacity, so hopefully once the tumour shrinks down, everything will improve. xx

Nongatron · 11/07/2023 16:09

Sending you the best vibes from Dublin. I hope the chemo goes well 💐💐
Thought my dogs cheery face might make you smile 😊
