Warrant out for me

I've done something stupid and failed to show up at Jury duty which I know is so wrong though have had different things to deal with recently which I know is no excuse.

Now it appears a warrant has been issued for my arrest. I have had a phone call to say I have to go to the police station and could be locked up to appear in court.

Anyone know whats likely to happen to me. Proper bricking it.

Scary though self inflicted.

Talking of eejits... a neighbour started following me everywhere then one night followed me to the bus stop with a knife. I managed to get away and call the police with the help of a friend. I was only 17 at the time.

As I knew where he lived the polis went to his flat. He wouldn't answer so one went down the stairs and slammed the stair door and the dafty came flying out the door waving the knife about. Straight into the arms of the other officer. As it was Saturday night, it was Monday afternoon before he got out. It went on for 2 more years with numerous charges for him stalking me. The PF was desperate to get it through as stalking. Even the defence agent was getting peed off at having to interview me and told his lawyer he wouldn't put me through anything else and to get his client help and to plead guilty.

Maybe she started jury duty on Monday and has no access to Internet, due to a really juicy case she's sitting in on.
Or she's forgot to update the mn community of her eventful night in the local custody suit?

There is obviously more to this? It was probably really a warrant for failing to show up for her own sentencing and she got the jail.

Either this is not entirely what it first appeared to be, or @LauraLesleyLogan has got a week's lie in in the jail for not turning up for her trial jury duty.

I also would appreciate an update as to whether @Paperwhites has clyped to her Mum who has turned up at @Nicknacky's door to give her a row.

Hope OP is coping . Hope she got there on time .

Having to be arrested ,put in a cell etc does seem OTT for the crime in question .
