Warrant out for me

I've done something stupid and failed to show up at Jury duty which I know is so wrong though have had different things to deal with recently which I know is no excuse.

Now it appears a warrant has been issued for my arrest. I have had a phone call to say I have to go to the police station and could be locked up to appear in court.

Anyone know whats likely to happen to me. Proper bricking it.

Scary though self inflicted.

I was a PA for a criminal court judge in the US for a while. He told me one day, 'I'm going to have a stamp made so we can just forgo the beginning of these oral depositions, waste of time because they are all, 'I don't know nuthin'. I was in my friend's house and the cops came and arrested all o' us.' ' Or the ubiquitous 'friend'. Got drugs, guns, stolen property? They're not yours, you were just holding them for a friend. But you don't remember the friend's name, or where you met him/her. Fancy that.

nope, Expat NE here, and it is definitely faird. Although I'm quite sure I have never written it or seen it written before. " Ehm awfy faird" is how we'd actually say it aloud.

I just fell out laughing at that one. I still ask DH sometimes, 'Where is fuck? You're supposed to go tae fuck, get tae fuck, c'mon tae fuck, away tae fuck but nae one ever tells you where fuck is? D'ye ken were fuck is?'
