Warrant out for me

LauraLesleyLogan · 16/01/2018 18:51

I've done something stupid and failed to show up at Jury duty which I know is so wrong though have had different things to deal with recently which I know is no excuse.

Now it appears a warrant has been issued for my arrest. I have had a phone call to say I have to go to the police station and could be locked up to appear in court.

Anyone know whats likely to happen to me. Proper bricking it.

Scary though self inflicted.

You can't beat this thread for the craic, Queen. I just asked DH again, 'Where's fuck?' (now that the 'bairns', as he calls them, are sleeping). 'Fuck knows,' he answered. Grin

Redglitter · 17/01/2018 22:57

Fuck must be about the most versatile word in the English (or Scottish) language Grin

Nicknacky · 17/01/2018 22:58

Especially "fuck me". Can use it in any context.

QueenoftheSilverDollar12 · 17/01/2018 22:58

SimonBridges · 17/01/2018 23:01

So how does one use clype?

‘She is a dreadful clype’?
‘She clyped me to the teacher’?

Does it refer to the person or the act?

Redglitter · 17/01/2018 23:01

It can be either Simon

expatinscotland · 17/01/2018 23:02

So in addition to being a place, fuck is also an omniscient being, ken?

MeDented · 17/01/2018 23:03

She is a Clype
She clyped on me
I'm gonna Clype on you

treaclesoda · 17/01/2018 23:04

I'd say clype refers to the person. 'She's a shockin' clype, thon' . Well that's what it would be in Co Antrim, which admittedly isn't Scotland but might as well be when it comes to language!

MsHomeSlice · 17/01/2018 23:04

maybe paperwhite has goan tae tek her face fer a shite?

hope OP is awae hame the noo.

expatinscotland · 17/01/2018 23:05

'I'd say clype refers to the person. '

It's definitely a verb here in Scotland, too.

treaclesoda · 17/01/2018 23:05

Oh yes, 'she clyped on me' , we'd say that too. But not 'she clyped me'...

MsHomeSlice · 17/01/2018 23:07

and simon it'd be "clyped on me to the teacher"

QueenoftheSilverDollar12 · 17/01/2018 23:08

@Paperwhites clyped ON @Nicknacky (allegedly)

We believe she's clyped to either her Mum or the Polis, but we aren't 100% sure.

Both @Paperwhites and @LauraLesleyLogan appear to have gone "tae fuck", although the exact location of aforementioned fuck is also uncertain.

HTH 😃

QueenoftheSilverDollar12 · 17/01/2018 23:09

What the actual fuck is going on with my bolds tonight?? Apologies folks.

expatinscotland · 17/01/2018 23:12

'We believe she's clyped to either her Mum or the Polis, but we aren't 100% sure. '

It's Lord Lucan, I'm telling you, it's Lord Lucan.
