IVF - July Transfers

WanOvaryKenobi · 01/06/2026 16:24

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

I had my transfer this morning so 1 embaby safety on board. My progesterone was low tho so I need to start suppositories tonight alongside the utrogesten... pray for me 🤭😫🤣

ASGIRC · 30/07/2026 20:02

@CaribbeanCupcake hopenit goes well!!! Fingers crossed!!
When's your OTD?

CaribbeanCupcake · 30/07/2026 20:10

Thank you! 12th August! It's gonna be a longgggg 2ww!

TheBreezyKoala · 30/07/2026 20:38

@ASGIRC yes had the scan! All went well obvious signs of ovulation there and progesterone was 45, lining was 12mm too so it's up to little embryo now to be extra sticky tomorrow 🤞🤞 still so soon for you to know for sure but i deffo understand the toll it takes to stay positive. Our last round I remember hanging in for the first week trying to be positive but the second week was pure torture. I started testing early and made my husband promise me he wouldn't let me do that again 🙈 I was addicted to peeing on sticks and squinting at them!

Still very early for you though so fingers crossed 🤞🤞 on my successful cycle I had zero symptoms other than excessive tiredness. And this time round I'm already excessively tired with an 18 month old so I won't have a clue if it worked until test day 😆

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 10:10

@TheBreezyKoala todays test was also completely blank... And its now not soooo early...
I had zero symptoms last time, with my DD. They only started when I hit 6 and 8 weeks, on the dot.

I am a lot sleepier than usual, but thats probably just the stupid amounts of progesterone Im taking. Didnt have that last time around, only massive amounts of burping! LOL

I think I will buy a "proper" pregnancy test, though.
I realised this morning my cheapies are also expired, which, the internet tells me, might mean they dont detect HCG... Im clutching at straws, here, but what else do I have, heh?

Mymiraclebb · 31/07/2026 11:43

Hi all @CaribbeanCupcake sorry for asking where you not on progesterone before transfer or this is going to be and increasing.

@ASGIRC i thing we are same my house is full of expired test and can’t really rely on it. The up to date test are not sensitive and my OTD is in 2 days not sure if I should by new test kit or just wait for Sunday.

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 12:10

@Mymiraclebb what day is your OTD? Mine is d9pt, so its on the early side. Itll be on Monday.

However... I now looked at the tests again and theres a SQUINTER!!!!!!! Im d6pt! Might not be out quite yet... Will still buy a regular test, anyway, just to make sure (and also because I found that last time people had no idea what the cheapie tests were LOL)

Mymiraclebb · 31/07/2026 12:25

@ASGIRC my OTD is this coming Sunday just in 2 days. And my clinic gave me the cheapest test to use. And I have plenty of that and it’s up to date. It it’s negative at this stage. And I got a positive with clear blue but chat GPT said I should not rely on that but I can see it clearly. Not sure if I should go and by first response or just wait for 2days

for you it still early i used expired clear blue at 8dpt and was negative but later I seem seen a font line not sure if it evaporate. Also in my previous positive at 8-9dpt I got a clear positive.

I guess you should wait and test with sensitive test

CaribbeanCupcake · 31/07/2026 13:35

@Mymiraclebbyes I was but they said it was 35 so I needed extra. What's weird is, last time when I had my DC the level was 33 and they didn't give me extra for it then 🥴 so it's a bit confusing. I asked and they just said that they have increased there cut off but it was 35 before and I was 33 and they never gave me anything soooo...?! Anyway I'm just doing what I'm told and taking the extra

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 15:29

@Mymiraclebb sorry I meant what dpt is your OTD

Your clinic doesn't do betas?

thislittlestarhere · 31/07/2026 19:49

I had my transfer yesterday morning. A 4AB blastocyst. This is the first donor cycle so feeling optimistic 🤞

I’m going to test out my hcg trigger and carry on daily testing to see if a line comes back !

TheBreezyKoala · 31/07/2026 20:06

@ASGIRC delighted to hear you have a squinter! Hopefully the line keeps getting darker now, how exciting 🙊 hope you're feeling OK?

Had transfer today, smoothest one yet, 5AB on board I hope theyre getting cosy in there🥰 I was warned hcg could stay in my system for two weeks, only one week up today and also heavily advised no testing! I tested early the last time and asked to stop meds but they couldn't officially make a call on it until test day anyway.. Little slap on the wrist for me 😆 OTD13th August🙈

Zeeha · 31/07/2026 21:25

Thank you everyone! I'm having a little panic as this evening I've had some very faint, light pinky brown spotting. I think it's just the pessary causing irritation, but it's so damn triggering for me. I've went to bed early hoping it'll help to relax 🙏

@TheBreezyKoala you could buy a box of cheapies and test it out your system if you can't stop yourself! I have to admit I've done that before as I have hardly any patience 😅

TheBreezyKoala · 31/07/2026 21:36

@Zeeha sorry to hear you're having a little panic this evening but very understandable why nobody wants to see that, but it is very normal with pessary so hopefully that's what it is 🤞🤞 how many days have you been taking the pessaries for? I'm on them since Sunday and have an alarm set for 5.30 every morning as nurse said to pop it in and lay down for an hour after insertion, I have to say I'm absolutely wrecked as my DS wakes at 6am every day so there's no going back to sleep after the 5.30! Is this a bit excessive? Iv never used them before?

Oh Iv lived the testing life and it is not for me, and not for the faint hearted 😆 i admire anyone that can test and go about their business as normal for the rest of the day, as I found this to be an impossible task 🤣 deffo gonna try hold out this time🤞🤞

SunflowerRise · 31/07/2026 21:45

Hi everyone, I had my fresh transfer on 29th July and I already feel like I’m going stir crazy. This is going to be a long two week wait 😬😅

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 21:48

@thislittlestarhere Best of luck to you!!! When is your OTD?

@TheBreezyKoala yeah, feeling absolutely fine! I obsess over lines, but I can test and go about my day. And Id rather know, anyway! I always test out the trigger. At d1, d2 or d3pt it is basically impossible for it to be a pregnancy line. But at both d2 and d3 Ive had stark whites both times.

I did buy some regular clearblue tests. Theyre not great for squinters, but in a day or 2 theyll be fine! You dont worry about an evap line when the real line is definitely there! LOL

As for the pessaries, definitely dont worry too much. I am on 2 morning, afternoon and evening. The only ones that I lay down for are the evening ones. Maybe start taking yours at night when you go to sleep. It doesnt make a difference. Its not antibiotic!

@Zeeha Yeah, spotting is never great! It could be the implantation bleeding finally coming out, as well. If it continues, definitely contact your doctors, though!

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 21:50

@SunflowerRise Best of luck!!!! when is your OTD?

@SunflowerRise Best of luck!!!! when is your OTD?

10th August 😬 not sure I’m going to make it!

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 21:53

@SunflowerRise thats not too bad! Will you test early, or are you going to try and hold off?

SunflowerRise · 31/07/2026 21:56

ASGIRC · 31/07/2026 21:53

I haven’t brought any tests because I think I would fall into the trap of testing sooner than recommended. I think I might test on 7th August. The embryo was a hatching blast so in my head I’m thinking that implantation should be happening sooner rather than later but maybe I’m just getting my hopes up. Eugh this is the worst!

@TheBreezyKoala I think it's coming up two weeks now! I've had to use them before, and I really don't like them. I'd rather just have more lubion injections. They're much less hassle 😂 I pop one in around 6.30am, 2.30pm and then 10.30pm. I've only ever laid down for 20-30mins afterwards for the earlier ones though!

Oh bless you, I don't think I could handle an early bird. I am not a morning person lol. My two little ones sometimes wake up about 7am or just after, but they tend to play or chill and drift off, so I usually have to get them up for whatever the day brings.

Oooo mines on the 12th as well 🤞🏻✨

HappyMamma2023 · 01/08/2026 18:34

I went shopping this afternoon and after pushing trolley with toddler in and lifting the bag into the boot I've had some cramping. But no blood/spotting. Google says my pelvic muscles will be weak with the progesterone and Lubion so hopefully just that.

Cornish13 · 01/08/2026 19:01

Transfer meds are kicking ass! I’m now 3 days past a modified natural FET, day 5 embryo. I’m currently using x3 Cyclogest pessaries a day, x1 Lubion injection, x1 Clexane injection and 20mg prednisone. My previous transfer I was just taking the progesterone. I was pretty tired last time but damn, this time I feel like death 😂 come midday I could easily sneak away to my bed and spend the rest of the day there. I’m also in a VILE mood! Then throw in the headache and nausea.

I’m typing this from the comfort of my bed and pjs at 7pm 😂
