IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

@LFlynn91 you're very welcome! The transfer wasn't too bad. I normally find them quite uncomfortable, but we soldier through eh! I hope yours was all well? I had a failed transfer of a higher grade embryo last month, so we've tried a double transfer of my two remaining embryos from a couple of years ago this time 🙏 I haven't tested yet.. Although I'm finding it hard not to! I have some FRER ready incase I can't control myself 😅 If you do test in the morning, I really hope you see a positive x

I’m so sorry about your failed transfer, seems hard to get your head round when it was high grade. I also had a failed fresh in May from a good grade.
Haha at least you have them there in case you cave!

I had acupuncture today and she checked my pulse and said she couldn't sense a change in my pulse which made me worry but it's only Day 4. Still feeling very up and down. Hope everyone OK, take care

@LFlynn91 but faint is faint!!!!! Fingers crossed it keeps getting darker!!!

@HappyMamma2023 is that supposed to mean anything? What changes are you supposed to see?

I wasn’t sure whether to post in this thread as my transfer is on the 29th but I won’t find out if it works until August. I cant believe I'm here again 🫠 transfer no.3!! I had my last transfer in November 2025 and it failed, was a natural FET. Since then I have gone private and been diagnosed with endometriosis and had the laparoscopy to remove it, that was in May. My endometriosis surgeon has given me the all clear to go ahead with my third FET, our final embryo 😢 I’ve had to basically fight my clinic but this time I have picked my protocol alongside my surgeon. It’s a modified natural FET. I added in Letrozole, a trigger, prednisolone, Clexane and Clarityn. My transfer is tomorrow 🫪 I don’t really know
how I feel! I’m not excited or happy however I’m also not worried or scared, I just feel nothing. Not sure what’s worse 😂 the last transfer I was very strict and by the books. Done the acupuncture, beetroot juice, pomegranate juice, all the supplements, only drank/ate warms drinks/foods, completely cut out caffeine and fragrances. This time however I’ve decided to be kinder to myself. I don’t drink much caffeine anyway but I’ll have one thing a day caffeinated, I’m still wearing my perfume, I’ve gone back to my usual laundry products, I didn’t do acupuncture. Yet somehow this time I feel ready! Anyway enough of my waffling, I hope this month can be everyone’s time. ✨

I caved and tested. I wasn't sure if it would be concentrated enough as I had a wee in the middle of the night, but I think it's looking promising for this early on🙏 Today will be 6dpt.

@ASGIRC last time my acupuncturist knew I was pregnant before test day because my pulse changed. But it's still early days onoy Day 4 yesterday so I'm still hopeful

@Cornish13 you've got this!!! Honestly... There's really nothing you can do to change the outcome, apart from maybe not drinking too much. Everything else, as long as the lining is good, is up to the embryo, and he's been frozen for a while!!!

I tested this morning, and obviously, it was a BFN. It's only the morning of d4pt, so it's t9 be expected, but it still stings 😅😅
Last time I got a squinty BFP at d4pt, but at night, and I didn't even realise it was positive until the next day... So fingers crossed tomorrow is different!!!

I think we see everyone online saying they got a positive at 4dpt but honestly think it’s so rare. Let’s stay hopefully for a beautiful positive over the coming days xx

I did have one, last time, but it was at night...

I'll test again tomorrow and hopefully I'll get my squinty BFP 🤞🤞🤞🤞

@ASGIRC transfer is done! For the first time ever for me the embryo went back up the catheter when the embryologist checked. Luckily she checked it over and it was all still find and still in the embryo glue bubble. So it was re-inserted. Whether this is wise or not I don’t know but my guts telling me this embryo is a little girl, a naughty one 😅 it’s been frozen a year next month. Now the dreaded 2 week wait

Congrats to those PUPO and with positive tests!🥳 Our transfer is Friday 🤞 progesterone came back at 44 which seems quite high as it was checked Tuesday but iv been told not to worry about it!

@Cornish13 keeping my fingers crossed for you! When is your OTD? And will you test early, or wait?

@TheBreezyKoala did you go in for that extra scan to look for signs of ovulation? How did that go?

Over here I'm trying to feel positive, but, for some reason, I think it hasn't worked. Dreading testing tomorrow and having another blank test, but also not testing isn't any better. I'd rather know!
Tomorrow will be 5dpt!

It’s the 12th August! I’m going to try and hold off testing until that date for this transfer. I tested early on my two previous transfers and it made it so much worse. My last transfer I had a very slight positive on I think day 7 so stupidly allowed myself to get excited. The next day back to negatives

My test this morning seems negative as well, so I might be out... I will test again until d7pt. Beta is on d9pt, but if the tests are negative until then I wont bother going all the way to the clinic for it.
