IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

Transfer is booked in for tomorrow ! I'm having Lubion injections for the first time. Good luck everyone

Two embryos on board! 🤞🤞

Hi ladies, PLEASE HELP!
Had day 9 scan today after taking 50iu gonal f since day 2 of cycle. Had to go to a different nurse as usual nurse was away unfortunately.

Had the worst scan experience to date, left ovary stuck lots of pressure and positioning and very poor visualization. In the end the nurse deducted 1 follicle 16mm and 2 around 14. They've decided to trigger today and FET Friday.

However I'm really concerned as the visualisation was so poor and my usual nurse made a point of saying she wanted the follicle to be at 18m at trigger day which would be another day or 2.

Am I being dramatic or would you be happy to go with plan? Just shocked everything is so far along day 9! Lining is 10ml and trilaminar etc I should be so happy but I can't help but feel unsure about it.

Hi!

Obviously, I'm not an expert, but my doctor said she'd want a 15mm folicule for trigger, so a 16mm one would be fine!

TheBreezyKoala · 24/07/2026 13:59

Hi @ASGIRC
Thanks for the response and reassurance!🙏 Iv come down from the dramatics a bit after a phone call with my consultant 🙈 were just off the back of a failed cycle so just super nervous of any wrong moves putting next embryo at risk!

She's after giving loads of reassurance and agreed to test progesterone next week for added reassurance that ovulation occurred but she's positive all will be well due to appearance of lining being so favourable 🤞

Trigger tonight, cyclogest from Sunday and hope for the best 🤞

ASGIRC · 24/07/2026 14:04

@TheBreezyKoala I'm glad you're feeling better about it!

Transfer next Friday?

Mine is tomorrow!

TheBreezyKoala · 24/07/2026 20:47

@ASGIRC oh wow how are you feeling? Has the prep been ok? Wishing you all the luck for a smooth transfer tomorrow 🤞🤞✨✨✨🍀🍀🍀🍀

HappyMamma2023 · 24/07/2026 20:48

Transfer went well today. Had my first Lubion injection and it's quite sore so that'll take some getting used to. And our toddler may have worms so looks like I'll be spending the weekend washing everything on a hot wash!

ASGIRC · 25/07/2026 12:08

@TheBreezyKoala prep? What prep? It's basically taking ALLLLLLLL the progesterone (my doctor goes overboard 😂), and then a valium 1h before.

Transfer went fine. Now we wait! 🤞🤞🤞

@HappyMamma2023 🤞🤞🤞 when your OTD? And will you test before?

Also... Sad times, re: your toddler and worms. Hope it's not too bad!

HappyMamma2023 · 25/07/2026 12:36

My OTD is 4th Aug. I'm going to try hold off testing

Transfer twins - best of luck to you! When are you planning on testing?

I'm not feeling many symptoms either really, just the fun progesterone ones, like cramping.

CaribbeanCupcake · 26/07/2026 22:13

good luck to everyone with embabies on board!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

TheBreezyKoala · 26/07/2026 22:30

@ASGIRC hope you're keeping well post transfer , and full to the eyebrows on protesterone with thanks to your doc 🙈 that must be so uncomfortable I get so bloated on it!

ASGIRC · 26/07/2026 22:38

@HappyMamma2023 mine is the 3rd!
But I'm definitely gonna test before hand 😂😂

@TheBreezyKoala hahah yes, all good. I just find the whole thing disgusting. And I don't get bloated on progesterone... I get gassy... 😭😭😭😭 So that's fun!

For the ladies with no symptoms, I had zero symptoms until I hit 6 weeks, and eveb then, they were really mild (just a hint of nausea, really). It was only by 8 weeks that my aversions to everything presented themselves 😂

Mymiraclebb · 27/07/2026 12:21

@TheSparklyAzureJoker thanks. Thanks exiting. For me I will definitely test before the date. 😊

LFlynn91 · 27/07/2026 12:43

I had my first FET on 23rd July. I started testing today at only 4dpt. Feel crushed seeing the negative but hopeful it may be just too early

Zeeha · 27/07/2026 14:37

Hi @LFlynn91 my transfer was the same day as yours! Try not to be down. 4dpt is too soon for the vast majority of people, as even with a very sensitive test the HCG will have had hardly any time to build up and show in your urine at a sufficient level for testing yet. With my youngest I only first saw a line at 6-7dpt and it was a squinter. Will you try again soon, or give it a little while?

LFlynn91 · 27/07/2026 14:54

Thank you for your kindness. How did your transfer go and how are you feeling? Have you tested yet?
Being honest I will probably test tomorrow, so the morning of 5dpt.
xx

TheBreezyKoala · 27/07/2026 17:49

Just an update from my dramatic scan on Friday! The usual nurse I go to called today so see how I was, she felt the trigger may have been premature but should 'hopefully' not have any negative impact. For reasurance she's taking me for a scan tomorrow so see if she can see evidence of ovulation, and if none visible then do a progesterone blood test. Finding it hard to stay optimistic amidst all the question marks and haven't even had the transfer yet 🙈

Defo too early, you need to wait til at least 8 or 9 dpt to have a positive!! X

LFlynn91 · 27/07/2026 20:50

Thank you, so hope you are right xx

BluntBlueOP · 27/07/2026 21:02

Hello all, hope everyone’s transfers and collections are on track. Good luck again ✨

I had my egg collection today (day 15). Had to take my injections for a further 3 days so my egg collection got delayed from Friday to today.

I haven’t developed OHSS so am looking at a fresh cycle this Saturday.

today I think the nerves finally set in.

hope everyone is feeling okay.

LFlynn91 · 27/07/2026 21:04

How are you feeling after collection xx

ASGIRC · 27/07/2026 22:25

@LFlynn91 with my DD, I first tested at 4dpt and thought it was negative.
Then I tested at 5dpt and thought I saw the faintest line, so went back to the previous test and I could also see a faint line! By 7dpt a regular clearblue test was positive.

BUT 4dpt is definitely too soon to be crushed already. Id say after 7dpt the result is probably accurate.
