IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

Official test day was this morning. Lines are progressing well and scan is in three weeks! It really had best be just one in there 🙈 I had a fair amount of twinges and light cramping earlier on, but more settled now. I'm mostly just having crazy hunger out of nowhere. I keep ending up eating two dinners 😂 Plus I'm getting tired super fast. Thankfully no nausea yet! I hope everyone is doing well 🤞

Well, beta results have come out and... theyre not what Id hoped for. just under 100 (97.4, I think). My doctor seems pleased, but hses asked for a repeat on on wednesday, for my peace of mind.
Even the nurse who called me (before I spoke to my doctor) was like "we ask to retest under 100, but yours is so close, I almost feel bad asking you to", but I was like NO NO NO! I want it! Ill do it on wednesday!

So thats where Im at! Pregnant, sure! But is it going the right way? Unsure!

@ASGIRC sorry to hear you didn't get the phonecall you had hoped for, however the nurse and docter seem very reassured by the numbers, and by Wednesday once it's doubled you will be too 🤞🙏✨ everything crossed 🤞🤞🤞

Hi all. I’m 3 days post frozen transfer. Our first fresh cycle wasn’t successful but fortunate to have 2 embryos in the freezer (1 left now after transfer on 31st July. Official test date is 13th August but know it’s going to go so slow. I had spotting a few days before officsl test day last time so as hard as that was, I was expecting a negative test. They’ve upped my progesterone this time so hoping that helps and might’ve been the cause. Has anyone had their progesterone tested post transfer? This wasn’t an option for us but I think I’ll ask for it next time if this transfer isn’t successful. Keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻

@Bp1511 best of luck! I only had my progesterone teste before transfer, and always put on a stupid amount anyway, so no point in testing it...
Are you planning on holding off until test day?

@TheBreezyKoala Ive been reading lots of Reddit testimonies of betas lower than mine at d9pt that went on to be successful pregnancies, so Im trying to remain optimistic!
Its just that with my DD, it was 335! That was loud and clear! This one... not so much! But Ill know more in 2 days!

I caved and tested! However I shouldn’t have and now I’m really angry with myself. I had a trigger shot for the first time this FET, Zivafert 5,000. That was 12 days ago and my FET was 6 days ago. Something told me to test so I did! It’s positive but I don’t actually know if it’s the trigger or a true positive. So in hindsight I’ve not helped myself and instead I’m spiralling 🫠

Google suggests that after 12 days the trigger should be gone?

@Cornish13- I'd be tentatively thrilled.. it's very dark to be a trigger 12 days on!
The only way to know for sure is if it's darker over the next couple days. You've got this! Everything crossed for you.

I honestly don’t know why I done it! I knew I shouldn’t have as I knew it wouldn’t give me an answer but done it away 🫠 just ordered some more first response tests to torture myself for the next week! I’m going to try and still to the same brand

@Cornish13- Absolutley stick to the same brand. And while it hasn't given you the immediate answer.. a darker test tomorrow or the next day absolutely is the answer!

I still have a faint line from my trigger at 11 days past trigger it’s been the exact same faint line since yest. I’m 5dpt so feeling a bit worried

Luckily I do still have one first response at home so I can use that tomorrow morning! Then have x4 more tests arriving tomorrow afternoon 😬 here’s to a torturous few days!

Have you been testing the whole time? I’m probably not much help at all as I’ve only started testing today, 12 days past trigger and 6 days past transfer. I was given Zivafert 5,000. We can only keep testing and hoping for the best! We’ve got this 🤞🏻✨ x

I’ve been all over Google and ChatGPT 😂 I’m feeling slightly more hopeful as I had the lower dose of zivafert however I do know of someone who still had a faint trigger line at 14 days then started disappearing and I’m 12 days. This was ChatGPT’s input haha x

Yes ! I was trying to test out the trigger but it seems to still be there a tiny bit so I’ll have to see what tomorrows test shows it’s frustrating as last time I had Ovitrelle it was out of my system 9 days post trigger this time I’m on day 11 it’s still there! Zivafert always lasted 13/14 days for me so I was pleased to have ovitrelle this time as thought I’d be able to test it out then have a couple of days of negatives to be sure if anything else showed up that it was real but it’s taking longer now ! I weighed more last time though maybe that affects how fast your body clears it ??!!

Has it gone darker at all? I’m assuming you're sticking to the same brand of tests. I’ve chosen to go with first response this time 🤞🏻 just ordered a load more for my painful next few days of testing!

Was your Zivafert line quite dark on days 12/13/14?

Hmm potentially! If I had a trigger before I could have helped as I’ve actually lost about 2 stone since my last FET so that could have been a good experiment 😂

@Cornish13 I remember the trigger I had was out of my system by 5dpt when I had a fresh transfer, so fingers crossed that's a true positive for you!!! 😀

it has faded to the faintest line possible since Sunday really but not changed so I can’t tell as I’m using easy at home tests and I’ve been able to stick them down next to each other to compare and they are identical 😭 so I can’t tell ! I’ll have to see what happens tomorrow. I was 2 stone heavier when my trigger cleared within 9 days, with zivafert it was visable but much much lighter than your line at 12 days so I think you are in with a good chance yours is real !!!

@Cornish13 I'd be cautiously optimistic. That's a strong line, unlikely to be the trigger 12 days after.
But the only way to be sure is to test again tomorrow!

@thislittlestarhere I had ovitrelle and it was completely out of my system at d3pt, which was 10 days after the trigger for me. Fingers crossed your line starts getting darker now!

My tests today are darker. Both of them, including the cheapie ones (which we know are unreliable)

Hopefully that means good things for the beta tomorrow.

Already have 2 more clearblue ones (not happy with how much I've already spent on them😂😂😂😂) ready, though!

Fingers crossed for our tests tomorrow morning! I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared 😂 I’m too scared to go to sleep later as I know when I wake up I’ll have to pee on a stick and start learning my fate
