IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

Can you remember what trigger you had? X

I've dug out the invoice as it was two years ago now. It says Drug - Ovitrelle 6500IU. I hope that helps! The first faint line I then got was 7dp. This time it was sooner but I've read frozen transfers can show up earlier x

Leoladyttc1 · 05/08/2026 06:31

Hi ladies! I'm 7dp5dt and due to test at home on Friday. This is my second FET, my first ended in a miscarriage at 10 weeks.

I just wanted to see if any of you have experienced blood in your pessary discharge, more brown discolouration not bright red blood? I would assume it's irritation from the pessaries so I'm trying not to spiral 🙈

Cornish13 · 05/08/2026 07:25

My nerves haven’t been eased 🫠 the first response tests don’t look any different. Plus it also doesn’t help that they take a few hours to fully clear the lines. The boots ones look more promising but they don’t have great reviews! X

Good luck for the second beta today @ASGIRC!!

@Cornish13- this is soooo frustrating for you. Great news that it isn't any lighter, and the boots one does look very reassuring! Have you obsessively googled pictures of people testing out their trigger and comparing? 😂

@Leoladyttc1- I have, when on Lutigest I was forever spotting from the pessaries. Not only does the progesterone make your cervix way more vascular, you're then shoving something up there repeatedly!!

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 09:16

@OverTired26 thanks!
Not feeling particularly optimistic, today, as the tests were lighter... The beta will clear any doubts... I'm bracing for the bad news.
This had been such a roller coaster!! 😅😅

@Cornish13 that's so frustrating... But hopefully it doesn't mean much!!!

Of course I have 😂 I think I’ve been to every corner on the internet 😂

The only thing kind of helping me is I’ve used zivafert before for my trigger with my egg collection and fresh transfer. Exact same dose, timing etc. and when I tested for that at 5DPT and 9DPT it was always negative. Praying my body hasn’t decided to hold onto the trigger this time 🤞🏻

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 11:11

@Cornish13 they seem dark for a trigger this long ago, particularly in the boots ones!
Fingers firmly crossed for you!

My lighter tests of this morning... I'm ignoring the cheapie, but the clearblue has me 😔😔😔

@ASGIRC i can't imagine how you're feeling it's been so up and down for you! But fingers crossed the beta test has good results today 🤞 ❤️

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 12:13

@TheBreezyKoala up and down is true!! Damn! Last time it was sooo easy!
Beta is done, now the wait for the results.

If they're positive, great!! If they're not, it's about preparing for the next cycle!!

Hi! Yes I have had this, last Friday afternoon and into Saturday. All stopped now thankfully. I think I was putting the pessary in too far. I had the same bloody discharge issue with my previous pregnancy, but it is still so triggering, especially whenever I see blood of any kind my mind just flips back to miscarrying. I don't think I could go through that again.

I've compared lines every 48 hours because it's the only thing bringing me sanity when it's too early to scan. I think I need to stop soon though!! The top photo is this morning, below that OTD 11dpt, and then below that 9dpt, and finally 7dpt. Hoping all is well in there 🙏 I have my first midwife appointment for bloods etc on Monday.

@Zeeha that's a lovely progression! Was your OTD just a regular test?

I’m still trying to stay very optimistic and guarding my heart! I have some more first response tests arriving later ready for tests tomorrow morning. Also picked up some more boots tests and then lost all self control and picked up some blue clearblue tests just to add to the torture.

Oh no 😩 how many days past transfer are you? Fingers crossed your beta comes back ok 🤞🏻

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 14:14

@Cornish13 I am d11pt today. I might have had more water last night... I don't know... The beta will confirm things, I guess, either way!

Thank you! 🙏 It was a Clearblue test, not bloods at all.

It was my test day yesterday and sorry to say it was a negative. With it working first time for our son we were hopeful it would work again but perhaps we were naive. I feel heartbroken. We're going to have a good think see if we want to do another cycle. Take care everyone

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 15:51

Beta results came back and... theyre not great. 135, doubling time of 99h, so it seems like its a definite chemical.

Currently waiting on a call from the clinic, and a reply from my doctor to confirm next steps.

CaribbeanCupcake · 05/08/2026 16:56

I'm so sorry to both @HappyMamma2023and @ASGIRC☹️ this journey is brutal. Take some time to cry and look after yourselves over the next few days especially x

OverTired26 · 05/08/2026 17:21

I am so sorry @ASGIRCand @HappyMamma2023
Thinking of both. It's beyond hard.

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 17:28

Thanks girls!
I'm ok. Disappointed, obviously. But already thinking of when I can try again!!

Going to repeat the beta on Friday to see if it's going down already (and rule out ectopic, for instance!), but I think it is , based on today's tests!

I get to keep taking the progesterone while we confirm everything 😒😒😒😒😅😅

This also means I get to enjoy my holiday at the all inclusive, next week, with several glasses of wine! I mean... Obviously I'd prefer to be really pregnant and drinking AF beer, but this is the next best thing!

I'll probably stick around this thread, if that's ok!! I want to see how you guys do!

I know the devastation you're feeling all to well as we also had our son from out first transfer and did everything the same for our second attempt, felt so optimistic. I was actually taken aback about how heart broken we were when it didn't work. Process the dissapointment and see how you feel. After a few days of feeling heavy hearted we booked back in and tried a different protocol currently awaiting the outcome. Best of luck ✨❤️

TheBreezyKoala · 05/08/2026 17:35

@ASGIRC so so sorry to hear the results are not what you wanted to hear. Hopefully the docters phonecall gives you some clarity 🤞 hope you're doing OK 🙏❤️

OverTired26 · 05/08/2026 17:56

I'm another one who had it super easy the first time around. I then fell pregnant the second time but lost at 7 weeks. Third time was a negative test and it didn't make any sense to me, since I'd least had a positive on the other ones! It's such a whirlwind journey. 😞

thislittlestarhere · 05/08/2026 19:36

My tests are still the exact same super faint line which I think is the stubborn remnant of the trigger. It’s no darker at all. I’ll keep testing but I think I’m out this month

ASGIRC · 05/08/2026 19:37

I also had it super easy the first time around.
But this time I had a weird feeling from the off. Obviously, it doesn't mean anything, but I wasn't as confident, even when the lines were getting darker.

Here's hoping 3rd time works as well as the 1st!
