Hey all. Thread for those who will be on the journey early 2026.

I'm Scotland based and due to start my 3rd IVF cycle on the 3rd Jan (long protocol).

These threads can really help with support and just knowing someone else is going through it at the same time.

Yeh I get that, a lot of this is patience but you just want to be there don’t you! You’re so far in now though with really strong results!

I’m sorry to hear you’re finding it hard with the spotting@OneGladOtterFrom what I’ve read it can be normal to have spotting and doesn’t mean a negative? God it’s so hard isn’t it? Keeping everything crossed for you.

That’s good you know it’s not going to be next cycle @MyLau- maybe means you can have a bit of a break from it for a few weeks? Easier said than done I know.

I’m feeling knackered and hormonal and very fed up with the progesterone side effects that echo pregnancy ones- strong smell, sore boobs. I feel like my body is trolling me!

yeh I think with bleeding so late on it’s worrying me. Oh the symptoms! Feel you @FairislePatterned why do pregnancy and period have to be the bloody same!

I will certainly enjoy a glass of wine 😅

@OneGladOtter ive been spotting every second day since about 12dpt i got a positive at around 5/6 days past i had a scan at 6 weeks and due one at 8 weeks, the 6 weeks on all was good heartbeat and everything they had no reason for the bleeds said it’s just one of them things, are you on blood thinners

@FairislePatterned it was unfortunately a negative for us this round.
I think when I saw the spotting I had come to terms with it so it wasn’t as much of a shock this morning @camelinastorm thankyou for your reassurance it did keep me with a little inch of hope. I’m feeling ok this morning, it wasn’t what we wanted but it’s almost a relief the wait is over and we no were we are. Have a call at some point today so will no what next looks like.

Hi all just back from my 8 week scan all is still looking great measuring exactly where it should be and the bleeding has now stopped

Excellent news about your 8 week scan @camelinastorm
My scan has been booked in for 19th march and I don’t know how I’ll stay sane till then. Any tips?!

@FairislePatterned i went with a full bladder for both the 6 weeks and 8 week, the 6 week one I had to have an internal in the end but the 8 week one was very clear with a full bladder

Well I am in a whirlwind girls- after my failed transfer in Feb I’m due on tomorrow. Just randomly took a test as you do and it’s positive. 1-2 weeks showing on a clear blue, like is this even possible??
