September FET

Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

Thank you @Gosia19 the clinic asked me to test 11dpt but we are going to do 10dpt as that falls on sunday. We have to head off so early for work on a monday that I don't want to have bad news and then us have to dash off. Equally I really want good news a day early 🤣🤞

Thing is I know from last time that each wait period has its own anxieties associated with it. If the test is positive on Sunday then the next wait will be the 7 week scan, then the next scan, and then the next so I just need to remember to hold tight and stay positive 🤞

Ahh some more transfers! So much happening here atm! Start my progesterone tomorrow ready for my transfer! I have bloods Monday to check everything is okay and then so long as all is okay, transfer goes ahead Wednesday 🤞

Scan this morning confirmed lining is thick enough (huzzah!). Transfer booked for 2pm on Thursday next week – eek!

transfer all done and went well! Now the wait begins 😩 OTD is 24th but I think I will test at 9dpt on 21st since I did this for the last two.

embryologist said this embryo is 5BB, no idea what this means really but she said it’s good!

@Peonies94 They didn’t actually say but it looked like 8.0mm on screen. They’ve also called earlier and actually bumped it up to Wednesday, so we’ll be transfer buddies!

@FluentTealGuide brilliant news! So I have bloods Monday to check levels and providing all is okay, transfer will go ahead on Wednesday! Will get my results on Tuesday ahead of transfer!
Will be my first transfer!

My lining was 7.2 so just above borderline but I guess it has another few days to continue to thicken as well!

@Kr0 thank you! My bloods still have to come back all okay on Tuesday, but it feels like I’m getting really close now!
@FluentTealGuide is this your first transfer or have you done some previously? How are you feeling?
also those who had transfers last week how are you all doing?
Will any of you be testing early or trying to wait it out?
I think my clinic tell us 12 days after transfer so think that’ll be the 29th for me, but I’ll definitely not be able to stop myself from testing sooner!

@Peonies94 This is our first transfer. I’m feeling positive, but also trying not to get too ahead of myself! I have bloods Tuesday, to check progesterone, so 🤞🏻.

My husband has ordered me to try to chill out as much as possible until transfer day (and after ofc), which is difficult being a chronic over-thinker! Would a daily bubble bath be overkill? 😸

bloods need to be okay and then embryo survive defrost and there’s so many things to play, it’s really hard to stay calm! Feel like I’m finally close after so long waiting though 🤞🤞

So I was feeling pretty relaxed last week about my transfer, and even on the day I felt chilled! But now 2dpt I am in major overthinking territory! 😩 with my last two transfers (one that worked and one that didn’t) I had cramps pretty much immediately, but this time I feel absolutely nothing! So I am already sure it hasn’t worked. Did anyone else not really get any cramping?

I hate this 😂 previously when I’ve had cramps I’ve been sad because it made me think it hasn’t worked, and now I am hoping for cramps!

I was also overthinking at about 4am this morning. I didn’t have cramping at all. But I felt kind of a pulling on the left side towards my leg. But I’m probably just making things up to hope that it does work

@jenk91 its torture isn’t it! Cruel as usually the symptoms can mesn both things as well! I’ve started my progesterone and already feel nauseous and stuff, so I know if I’d have already had my transfer I’d be thinking that meant something! 🥴
we want symptoms but then also don’t want them, it’s so hard! I need so many distractions for these two weeks!

Hi all, would you mind if I joined and shared the 2ww with you. I'm 4 days post FET - OTD is 22/9.
I've had 3 days of a dull ache/cramps but today nothing. I don't know whether I should/shouldn't be feeling any particular way.

I didn’t have any cramping after mine if that helps!
the 2WW is so tough, definitely makes you second guess everything!

@Kr0 its such a mind f*ck isn’t it! I’m trying to keep busy to keep distracted but it’s impossible.
@Peonies94 the progesterone doesn’t help does it! They hve told me to test on 24th, which is 12 days after, but will probably test 9 days after!

I woke up thinking the same this morning... No symptoms at all. After my previous transfer I had breast tenderness but no matter how much I prod them now.... Nothing. I don't know whether it's because my last one was a fresh transfer so on a lot more meds.

@ForPearlBird do you think you will wait for OTD?

I’ve had a little bit of nausea yesterday and today for the first time.. nothing too bad and quite reassuring!

How long after your first scan was transfer for people? I've mine tomorrow and no idea what to expect!

@jenk91 if it helps with my fresh transfer I'd zero symptoms at all, and was very surprised with my positive test for my little boy!
