September FET

Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

@MintOwl Congratulations on your great news. How are you feeling? Have you had your scan yet?
@MyAgileZebra How far along the process are you? I think we are going to test next Sunday, so the day before the OTD but as the days go on, I'm feeling more and more tempted. How about you?
@StillBelieving2 Is yours a fresh transfer or frozen? Mine was frozen, I had my scan on the Thursday and then the transfer the following Wednesday. I had to start on pegesterone the day after the scan. They may be able to tell you tomorrow re timescales.

@ForPearlBird I'm 4 DPT too. I know I won't last until OTD, I have 8dpt in my head but may give in before then.

@MyAgileZebra oh great we can count down together. My thoughts too, I'm thinking if its worked, you'd think it will show by 8 days.
How are you feeling? Is this your first transfer?

@ForPearlBird I don't have any symptoms, even though I know it's only the meds that cause them I'd feel better if I had some. I had a fresh transfer in March but found out at the 7 week scan that it was an empty sac. How about you? Have you had previous transfers?

Hi everyone, its so lovely reading all your messages of everyone going through similar experiences together. Unfortunately I tested this morning 10dpt and got a negative. Official test day is tomorrow but in my gut I know its unlikely. No real sign of period but I guess the progesterone is probably holding it off. I knew that I would be devastated and its been a hard day but I am so grateful to have our daughter from a previous fresh transfer. I think I just absolutely assumed this was going to work so I need to work through the grief of what I had imagined our near future to be. I don't think I want any further treatment so I think for us it's just working through our feelings and getting on with what life now has to hold.

May I join in please? I'm on day 2 and just started estradiol.

I'm struggling a bit emotionally. I'm on my own so it feels a bit lonely. I can't really wait around as I'm 40. I did a round of IVF last year with a gay friend of mine; we got four aneuploid embryos and it absolutely wrecked that friendship. I tried again with donor sperm this time, and got one euploid. I'm finding it really hard to feel hopeful at all.

I'm so sorry to read this. It absolutely is a grief to work through. Be really gentle with yourselves.

@Kr0 I'm the same. Trying to keep distracted but even staying distracted my mind still over thinks! When are you going to test?

Hi ladies, I’m really hoping to do FET this month. I have all my meds ready but I’m still waiting on my period. It’s now Day 48 of my cycle - one of my longest ever. Any tips on trying to encourage my period to hurry up??

We have 4 PGT-A tested embryos ready to go and I just need it to start before I turn 35 😢

Why do you need it to start before you turn 35?

OTD?! I've no idea. I've got to say, I feel really at sea at the moment. It's partly my fault because I can't quite engage emotionally with it all, so I'm probably not paying enough attention. But my clinic aren't the most communicative, either, so I'm not very sure what to expect.

@ForPearlBird i am going to test on Saturday I think which is 10dpt. you?

Good luck! It's just horrible waiting, isn't it? No good tips but much sympathy.

(Btw, I remember that feeling about turning 35! I felt so sad all day - I'd always assumed I'd get to the end of all the fertility clinic rounds and I'd even thought I might be able to donate eggs, and it just felt like such a blow. I don't know your reasons for wanting it to happen before 35, but please remember - nothing is ever as cut and dried as people make it out to be. There are lots of ways forward.)

Hey! If you are into acupuncture then it’s worth a go. I had this issue and my acupuncturist gave me a specific session and my period came the next day. I wasn’t hugely converted but was at the point of being willing to try anything.

i also feel you re the 35 but I’m annoyed that I’m even thinking about it 😂😂 I turn 35 in a few weeks and I hate the narrative that all of eggs just spontaneously combust the second the clock strikes midnight 🤣
