@MyAgileZebra oh goodness. That's heavy and hard initial news. I'll be crossing my fingers for it to be a late implanter. There's still time.
@Peonies94 glad you made the lining threshold and your blood tests hit the mark. Best of luck for your transfer tomorrow.
So my medicated FET finally got cancelled on Friday, after a long protocol. My lining just didn't respond to the synthetic estrogen (pills and patches), even though the consultants drew out the treatment for as long as possible. To say I'm bloody sick of needles is an understatement! XD
Moving forward, we've got a bit of a looming deadline of moving countries in DEC 25, so have to decide on a FET protocol for our last attempt between now and then.
1st option (we're leaning toward it) - natural FET protocol with progesterone support and prednisolone (my naturally produced estogen has worked before to successfully bring my lining up to 7mm using this protocol, but the embryo failed to implant).
2nd option - down regulate with buserelin in a short/sharp burst after the first bleed to suppress adenomyosis, then use gonal-f every second day to mature more than one follicle, which releases extra natural estrogen to increase lining growth during the second bleed. No synthetic estrogen used. Risk of introducing fluid in uterus (this happened during my egg collection with gonal-f).
Anyone's experience with thin lining and the latter option is very welcome... or any other advice/encouragement for that matter!
