Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

@FluentTealGuide how are you feeling?

had bloods taken this afternoon, estrogen and progesterone so hoping levels will be okay prior to transfer 🤞

@MyAgileZebra @ForPearlBird how are you both doing? Are you 5DPT today? Have either of you caved and tested yet? i have no self control in not testing early!

MyAgileZebra · 15/09/2025 20:49

@Peonies94 when will you get your results?

I've been away for the weekend and took no tests but I'm home now so it's going to be hard to resist. I'd like to hold out until the weekend, but not sure that's gonna happen.

Peonies94 · 15/09/2025 21:46

@MyAgileZebra in the morning I believe

hope you’ve had a good weekend away!

that’ll be good if you can do that! I already have my tests ordered on Amazon, to arrive on Friday! Ordered this pm!

MintOwl · 15/09/2025 23:58

@Ephesus1010 so sorry to hear your news, wishing you and your family all the best, thinking of you xx

ForPearlBird · 16/09/2025 06:57

@Peonies94 When are you hoping to have your transfer. Hope all results come back okay today.
The likelihood of me holding out until Sunday is nil. I was talking about it last night with my Partner. I haven't ordered/bought any tests yet to stop temptation.

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 07:29

@ForPearlBird well it’s booked for Wednesday, get my results before 12 today to confirm levels are okay! 🤞

ForPearlBird · 16/09/2025 08:53

@Peonies94 Fingers crossed all is well!

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 09:56

Thank you! Feel so nervous waiting!

jenk91 · 16/09/2025 10:21

Good luck @Peonies94 !

How is everyone in the tww doing? I am 4dpt and feeling so negative about it and already certain it hasn’t worked 😩

ForPearlBird · 16/09/2025 10:28

@jenk91 It's a long 2ww! Mixed emotions, initially I thought I was feeling different and feeling as though it might have worked. I was feeling delicate in myself as though I needed to take it easy. But today I'm day 6 and don't feel any different than I normally would, I'm feeling as though it hasn't worked too but trying to keep as positive as possible.
Do you have any symptoms?
What day do you think you will test?

jenk91 · 16/09/2025 11:00

Isn’t it just @ForPearlBird !
It’s so hard isn’t it, and one minute you feel like maybe it has worked and the next think for sure it hasn’t.
Its definitely good to try and stay positive, because you really never know (not that I can take my own advice 😂)
When are you testing?
No nothing really, having some cramping since yesterday but I think that’s meaningless! I said I would test on Sunday which would be 9dpt so let’s see if I can wait that long

ForPearlBird · 16/09/2025 11:05

@jenk91 We've agreed to test on Sunday too 1 day ahead of OTD but we were already discussing testing last night. I'm going to try and hold out until Friday...let's see!

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 11:11

@ForPearlBird thats really good that you’ve lasted so long! Honestly I’m already thinking from 7dpt!

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 12:48

@ForPearlBird how many days after transfer does your original test date work out to be? Think mines going to be 11 days post transfer, is that roughly normal?

Hopefull1981 · 16/09/2025 13:16

Hey ladies,

hope you are all doing well. I had my last transfer this morning. The embryologists comment didn’t fill me full of hope and then the procedure was awful. I sailed through every other transfer but this was with a new doctor and everything that could go wrong did. To say I am not remotely confident now is an understatement. Just had McDonalds chips 🍟

I for sure will be an early tester. Mine is a day 6 embryo so not sure if that makes a difference.

Hope you are all doing well and fingers crossed for loads of positives ❤️

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 13:18

@Hopefull1981 I’m so sorry! So frustrating thst you had this experience!

we had our bloods back and all is on for tomorrow at 10am!

wishing you the best of luck 🤞

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this! You never know though, if the previous transfers went well and didn't stick, maybe this one seems to have gone wrong but turns out ok...? Fingers crossed for you!

ForPearlBird · 16/09/2025 13:39

@Peonies94 Officially mine is 12 days but I have read on different threads that people's vary between 11 -14 days.

@Hopefull1981 Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with your transfer. Hopefully now though, the results will be good for you.

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 13:40

@ForPearlBird okay thsnk you!

MyAgileZebra · 16/09/2025 14:44

I succumbed and tested at 6dpt it was stark white. Think I'm probably out 😞 x

ALittleExpressive · 16/09/2025 15:41

@MyAgileZebra oh goodness. That's heavy and hard initial news. I'll be crossing my fingers for it to be a late implanter. There's still time.

@Peonies94 glad you made the lining threshold and your blood tests hit the mark. Best of luck for your transfer tomorrow.

So my medicated FET finally got cancelled on Friday, after a long protocol. My lining just didn't respond to the synthetic estrogen (pills and patches), even though the consultants drew out the treatment for as long as possible. To say I'm bloody sick of needles is an understatement! XD

Moving forward, we've got a bit of a looming deadline of moving countries in DEC 25, so have to decide on a FET protocol for our last attempt between now and then.

1st option (we're leaning toward it) - natural FET protocol with progesterone support and prednisolone (my naturally produced estogen has worked before to successfully bring my lining up to 7mm using this protocol, but the embryo failed to implant).

2nd option - down regulate with buserelin in a short/sharp burst after the first bleed to suppress adenomyosis, then use gonal-f every second day to mature more than one follicle, which releases extra natural estrogen to increase lining growth during the second bleed. No synthetic estrogen used. Risk of introducing fluid in uterus (this happened during my egg collection with gonal-f).

Anyone's experience with thin lining and the latter option is very welcome... or any other advice/encouragement for that matter!

jenk91 · 16/09/2025 16:17

@MyAgileZebra im really sorry 😔 but that is still early and you didn’t do first morning urine right? So definitely don’t think it’s over for you yet!! 💜💜💜

I follow someone on tiktok who did a video about what sounds like the worst transfer day ever and they are now like 35 weeks from that transfer!! So I’m hopeful for you.

also, I had the smoothest most positive transfer ever and it didn’t work 🤣 maybe it’s like what they say about weddings - the worse the weather the better the marriage?!

Peonies94 · 16/09/2025 16:48

@ALittleExpressive thano you! That’s really frustrating! I’m so sorry!!😔 can’t comment as i have to do a medicated FET based on my condition!

@MyAgileZebra im sorry to hear that! 6dpt is still early I guess? I know you see posts of people getting positives that early but you also read stories of those who had negatives up until much later! I’ll keep everything crossed for you! 🤞

Kr0 · 16/09/2025 18:00

@ALittleExpressive so sorry to hear that. That’s awful news after such a long time. The medication is relentless too.

@Peonies94 good luck for tomorrow!

@Hopefull1981 sorry that it was difficult for you, it’s one of the things you don’t expect to have any difficulties with!

@MyAgileZebra still have everything crossed for you
