Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

Right well after the emotional whiplash of this morning I am now PUPO once more… let the 2WW begin. Cue the trash tv: anyone else watching Love is Blind UK tonight?! Or The Summer I Turned Pretty?!

Congrats on being PUPO @magpie234 !!! How was the transfer? How are you feeling?

Ive realised that I struggle with testing post FET vs fresh transfer as our clinic does them in the afternoon so when I test in the am I feel like I’m a half day behind which I know doesn’t really matter but I feel like is not as accurate 😅

what tests is everyone using if you are an early tester?

any more transfers scheduled for this week?

@FrostedFlake I'm ok thank you, intermittent cramps - they are worse in the morning. I am so tired, must be the heat 🥵. I have ordered some tests- CB digital, the waiting is agony. When are you testing again?

@FrostedFlake@Rosieposy89 Thanks girls. It was. Think I nailed the comfortably full bladder! Last time the nurse needed to push down quite a lot for the doc to be able to see but this time no pushing!

Not sure when I will start testing but not till at least Sunday. I only have those easy@home ones atm - not sure how good they are.

@magpie234 go you!! I haven’t managed to crack a comfortable yet full enough bladder, I feel like when they press on it it’s still soo uncomfortable and not sure if it’s just me but the speculum is quite painful for me. But at least it doesn’t last too long.
@Rosieposy89 i haven’t tried the digital ones but I have the easy at home test as I’m a serial tester and they are still coming up blank for me while the first response has a slightly darker line than yesterday so I’m really hoping it’s 5th time lucky for us! We do have a DS from our second round and the lines are quite similar so I’m hoping it’s not a chemical and that it will stick around ❤️❤️❤️

What a day @magpie234! You definitely deserve to take it easy and watch TV.

I've got my first scan tomorrow. Generally I've been feeling OK, a bit of anxiety when I first started the meds but I've kept myself busy and my mind off it as much as possible. Thing is, now the scan is in the morning, my laid back attitude is starting to make me worry I haven't done everything I could have to make this successful. Mainly my diet (I was pretty good during my egg collection cycle) but I've been enjoying the summer and the events (and food) which come with it.

I guess I've just got one of those brains which likes to find something to worry about 🤦‍♀️

@FrostedFlake its good that line was darker than yesterday. Yeah my clinic literally said dont use any other tests than first response & clear blue as these are most accurate.

@magpie234 how are you feeling?
Im currently addicited to the summer i turned pretty. It is helping me be a little bit more distracted

@FrostedFlake Interesting the eah are still saying negative! Shall not rely on them if I test early then. Be interested to hear when yours does turn positive there too. Great the fr ones are getting darker!

@CloudyIvy55 Good luck tomorrow! I have one of those brains too but hopefully the worry is not justified. So hard to balance doing all you can for ivf with enjoying life in the present… the latter is also important!

@Bluebell155 Doing OK thanks. Just very drained after the particularly loopy section of rollercoaster this am. How are you? You are doing so well not to test early! Inspiration to us all! Sure I will cave like… tomorrow (OK maybe not quite but I doubt I will last long!). TSITP is the best distraction right? Team Conrad or Jeremiah?

it’s so hot and sweaty here today, just trying to keep hydrated. I would love a glass of wine though 😂 I have ordered a variety of tests from Amazon but have the easy at home ones at here, hidden. I got a faint positive 3dp5dt in the evening the last time. I don’t think I’ll test until 4dp.

Congratulations @magpie234on being PUPO despite the rocky start. And well done for cracking the comfortably full bladder, it made such a difference for me and was able to enjoy my transfer for the first time ever.

2dp5dt and already feels like 200dp5dt I just wish I knew what was going on in there. I hope everyone else is doing okay x

@Hopefull1981 oh that’s amazing, did you also use a First Response and if so was that quite dark?
This is the two of them from today, but half a day apart and maybe there’s like the faintest shadow of a shadow but I don’t even think I see it. So maybe the FR line is an indent.

I used one of the strip tests. I was shocked to see it. Hopefully the same this time round. Your frer looks pink to me. I also see the line in the other test.

How’s everyone doing? Hope the waiting on the transfer or the 2WW is going okay for everyone.

Hi @FrostedFlake I can see tge lines on both your tests, they don’t look like indent at all! How are you feeling?

I’m feeling still quite crampy which could mean anything but also really like sweaty all over, anyone else feeling this way? Maybe it’s this warmer weather and the meds. I hope I’m not coming down with something. How are you doing @FlatWhiteAnyone how are you feeling?

@FrostedFlake its funny you say that as i feel really clamy and hot too but i think mine is the heat/meds.
I honestly have such bad back pain today & i constanlty feel like i need a wee. I havr constant pressure down below it hurts.
Im really tempeted to just test because i am sure i am out now

I am not even 1dp5dt yet (had transfer at 1.30 yesterday) and it already feels like a million years 😭. I hate how time flies when you’re having fun and goes like this when you’re very much not!! I’m trying not to symptom spot but failing already, thought I saw a slight brown tinge this morning but obv that’ll just be some irritation from the cervix poking. Bit crampy too but ditto.

@FrostedFlake Can also clearly see both lines!

@FrostedFlake I am fine, only breast very sensitive and big, still cannot be brave enough to book a scan for end of month.. After every cramp I think that’s it, I knew no point of booking a scan, then feel stupid. I am still on holiday this week, so have distractions, next 2 weeks will be tougher. I am 5 weeks now, dont want a scan earlier than 7, probably better 8 even

@FlatWhiteAnyone congrats again on the great news! I remember you saying you had a strong positive on 6DPT do you mind me asking what test you used?
does your clinic do the initial scan? Ours usually books it in at around 8 weeks when you let them know you’ve had a positive test.
It’s great to be on holidays and staying busy! I need to try and distract myself.

any one else struggling sleeping? I feel like I’m constantly thinking about it and can’t fall asleep or stay asleep.

@Bluebell155 glad I’m not the only one! Must be the meds and this weather! Do you think you will test early? Did you say you were going to try and hold off until Saturday?

Our clinic said to test sunday morning but i think im gonna test tomorrow morning. I will prob deffo regret that.

Does anyone elses clinic keep checking up on them? My clinic has contacted me 3 times since transfer & while its nice they want to check up on me, im really struggling with what to tell them as i dont really know anything till test day

@FrostedFlake I used store own brand, german I think (not in the UK), but it was the early detection one with pink lines. I did because I had spotting and cramps that day, so thought I am out. Line was good but not like very dark. Official beta test was o9dpt. My clinic is in Greece, so no point going there for a scan. They asked to send update, sent me the instructions to wean off the medication by October. Wait till scan is really nerve wracking..
