Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

hi ladies,

it’s transfer day 🫣. Had the scan at 8 and no fluid. 2 embryos survived the thaw (I didn’t realise it only takes 10 mins) and she said they look beautiful (however they are BC’s). Transfer will be at 11.30. I am trying to kill time as there is no point on me going home and coming back.

Now to get a comfortably full bladder.

@ForeverHopeful17 Congrats on being PUPO. Hope the TWW goes smoothly and fast :-). I am such an early tester, so I will for sure be doing the same again, no doubt (I asked Mr Hopefull to hide the tests)

I’m not sure how early I plan to start testing this time, I’m really trying to distract myself to keep myself sane this TWW. Congratulations on making it to transfer and so happy there’s no fluid, I hope your transfer goes smoothly x

@pinksheetss So sorry to hear you got a negative too 😥. I am in the same situation as you, do a whole other fresh round of be at peace with my DD.
did you say you had other children? Are you at an age where you can do another IVF round? Sending hugs xx

I’ve caved in and tested early 🫣 (I just can’t help myself and I want to feel in control in a way as so much of this is completely out of my control) and I don’t know if I have line eyes or if there’s a shadow of a shadow there 😳

@FrostedFlake I feel I can see a line. How many days past transfer are you?

Our FET was on Friday at 2:30 so this would make it about 3.5 DPT so still super early. With so many losses and chemicals I don’t even know what to think even if there is a line as anything can happen at any stage.

@FrostedFlake well I am PUPO. The embryologist came in before the transfer and said they were ‘beautiful’ (one is 4BC day 6 and the other is 3BC day 5). I have a uterine scar that was getting in the way of the catheter so they had to remove re adjust and do it again.
I only ever got positives on 4dp5dt. I definitely feel I see a line. Was that FMU?
I need to get my hands on first response don’t have any in the house. I have the early strips which I think are good but can have indents.

congrats on being PUPO @Hopefull1981 and great to hear that from the embryologist! I hope the next few days fly by. I find all of the waiting so hard! I preferred the old first response with the clear pink caps but I still think the new ones are better than some of the other tests. The only thing is that they really add up if you are a cereal tester.

@FrostedFlake yeah I ordered 4 on amazon. That should do, along with the strips that are hidden. TMI I cannot stop weeing today since the transfer.

Sorry to all those with negative tests or chemicals. This is such a rough road.

Tentative congrats to @FrostedFlake and fingers crossed for everyone who is now PUPO.

Transfer day for me tomorrow - in at 1.30. My progesterone bloods today confirmed a level of 128 (not sure of the metric). They said this was great news and not to change my meds. Quick Google suggests is high but trying to trust them! Tbh not one cell of me expects to see a positive test - ever let alone after tomorrow and especially not after we found my husband has high dna fragmentation - but somehow there is still some hope clinging on… funny old life.

@magpie234 I know exactly how you feel - I used to imagine how I'd react when I got a positive test and how I'd tell my husband, whether I'd tell him I was testing or leave it as a surprise etc but now I just can't imagine ever getting to see those 2 pink lines.
What keeps me going is stories about people who finally get their BFP after 10 years. Wishing you so much luck for this transfer xx

I'm 5dp5dt and the cramps I have had have disappeared and I feel completely normal. Last cycle which failed, had loads of symptoms. Same protocol, it's strange. I have decided to test early at the weekend 9/10 dp5dt. It'll be easier than having to pretend to go to work and pretend I feel fine, whatever the result

Just had a call from our clinic to let us know that our next best embryo of our 3 frozen ones didn’t survive the thaw. It was a 3AB. Our next two are worse quality so we now have to wait and see if the next best one survives. Just feel numb tbh.

Oh that’s such tough news to receive @magpie234 and I really hope the next one thaws without any issues and will be the perfect little embryo for you ❤️

@Rosieposy89 how are you feeling today? I’m still feeling quite crampy but they come and go. Hope everything is okay but only time will tell.
makes sense to test at the weekend and it’s only a few more days! And hopefully it’s great news and you can celebrate and do something nice.

@magpie234 I am so sorry to hear this. What are the grades of the nexts ones? I transferred a day 5 3BC and and day 6 4BC. The embryologist said the important thing is that there is no cell degradation when they expand. Maybe ask if there is any cell loss, whether they have started re-expanding and how their current appearance compares to when they were frozen. Check what stage they are at now (expanded, hatching, etc.), if the grade has changed and whether their development is on track for their day number. Ask if there are any concerns about cell structure or fragmentation and most importantly whether embryos like these have resulted in live births in your clinic’s experience. It's so disappointing for you. Sending you hugs.

How are you all feeling?
Im 6days post transfer today. Its so hard to distingush syptoms between med side effects and hormones etc.
Im gonna try wait till sunday morning to test which is 10 days, but i am off work friday so im tempeted to test then. 😬

@Bluebell155 Congrats on being PUPO, you are very strong to not test early. I would pee on a stick right now if I could.
