Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

@FlatWhiteAnyone Hang in there. It’s good it’s gone to spotting now, hopefully it will disappear completely and you can get some answers on Friday. Sorry for not knowing but what does OE and DE refer to?

@magpie234 hoping this is the start of something for you! You’ve made me want to test now but I’m really trying to hold off. Transfer was a week ago now.

@Mottlegill Sorry… I was doing so well then caved because impatience is most definitely a flaw of mine! I now fear this might be the last of my hcg trigger (I did natural modified so had that 12 days ago) but obviously hoping is legit! It was really pale though and took a while to show up. If it is a true bfp then yes it will be my first. When do you think you will test? I def encourage the holding off! Especially now all I have done is added more unnecessary loops to my rollercoaster 🙄

@FlatWhiteAnyone I hear you. It’s so hard when everything looks great. Are you doing bloods?

@Hopefull1981 I only did 11 days ago on official testing day 9dpt, was 281 and my clinic was happy and said no need to do more. Now my gynecologist and ivf clinic said just to wait and scan on Friday only 🥺

@FlatWhiteAnyone that’s a long wait. Has the bleeding stopped?

@Hopefull1981 yes the bleeding stopped, but I added more progesterone injections, I think they would stop it too even with mc 😟 I will just have to wait till Friday.

I hope you don't mind me joining so late on, I am 6dp5dt today and well I am driving myself nuts.

I had a lot of cramping 3dpt/4dpt like a on/off prodding in the centre of my lower abdomen, and a little brown discharge on 4dpt but i can't work out if its from just general irritation from the progesterone. Now i have zero symptoms so I am worrying if it hasn't worked because surely I would still be feeling something? This is my third transfer after 2 failures :(

@FlatWhiteAnyone it’s good that it has stoped which can definitely be a positive sign as so many people bleed during the very early stages of pregnancy and I know upsetting and heart breaking it is to see big clumps after seeing a positive line. How far along will you be on Friday? Will you be going to a local clinic or a hospital? I hope you are trying to take your mind off it the best you can ❤️

Thank you @FrostedFlake! I should be like 6w and 1 day. I am not in the UK and here your gynecologist leads the pregnancy, so my local doctor will be scanning, she already had a few mc to scan with me and tries to delay till she sees something I guess. My ivf clinic in Greece, so they only advise via emails.

Oh now I wish I just had negative test, as thinking of another mc is just heartbreaking, especially when now it is donor egg.

I’m technically 7dp5dt (8dp5dt at 4pm) I wanted to test on a FRER first thing but of course Amazon messed up my delivery yesterday so will pick up some tests on my way out this morning.

@FlatWhiteAnyoneso sorry to see you’ve had heavy bleeding. I’m really hopeful it’s a sub chronic haematoma and bubba is absolutely fine. I will be thinking of you on Friday x

so we woke up this morning day 6 (still very early ) took a clear blue test that has given us a faint blue line we have also used a super cheap test that has given us a very faint pink line … we did also test earlier on day 4 and this is the first lines we have seen … still sooooo early but you can’t help but start getting more hopeful than you already was ! just got to keep positive that the line will get darker In a couple of days

@Hope19888 This is great news especially as no line on day 4 (not sure if you used an hcg trigger or not). Hope your line gets darker. For today… congratulations!

@ForeverHopeful17 Ooh annoying about the tests but hopefully by this stage any result you do get will be accurate. Fingers crossed for you tomorrow!

I am awake in bed needing a pee and still undecided whether to test again (5.5dp5dt) or wait until tomorrow or Thu for a result that should be accurate. I suspect my supposed faint bfp yesterday was just the end few days of my hcg trigger. I forgot that was a thing 🤦‍♀️

@magpie234 we did use a trigger shot called zivafert I think it was called or something similar.. we used that before the egg retrieval on the 6th of August but nothing before the transfer that was on the 13th . So just gonna keep everything crossed that this line is the start of things to come

@Hope19888 Ooh I am exactly the same as you! Same trigger at 8pm on 6th (only to time ovulation not egg retrieval). I just tested and my faint line is still there this morning and I thiiiiink a bit darker than yesterday so maybe is a bfp after all. I think if obviously darker tomorrow then I will also let myself be tentatively excited! Fingers crossed for you too transfer twin 🙏🏻

annoyingly Sainsbury’s didn’t have any FRER tests so I’ve just ordered another set on Amazon and I really hope they arrive tonight so I can test tomorrow morning!

Congrats on all the BFPs! Such great news!!

Our line is progressing however as we’ve lost the second last one at almost twelve weeks we aren’t getting too excited about it just yet, even though it’s wonderful news. My husband keeps saying pregnant for now, which is tough but it’s also tough building up a whole new life in your head for it not to happen.

@FrostedFlake That is so understandable and I feel the same way. Not had a loss (so sorry about yours so close to 12 weeks… that must have been really tough) but trying for years and never seeing a bfp and then going through ivf and all the ups and downs means I definitely do not have the joyful naivety that means some people can assume a bfp means a healthy baby in 9 months! But of course there is always hope - for us and everybody else 😊

I know, it would be so great to live in blissful ignorance of what could go wrong and not even being aware of it.

does anyone else feel like they are bleeding to go to the toilet and wipe straight away and there usually being nothing there or is it just me? However this morning I do have a small bit of brown discharge. This is such a stressful journey isn’t it just 😩

Got a postive test this morning then tested again at lunch with clear blue digtial and not pregnant
Had brown spotting when wiping

@Bluebell155 Ohhh this time is non-stop anxiety. Sorry to hear this. I am probably ignorant but surprised it would change so quickly. Maybe your test needs first morning urine? I think brown spotting in itself can be harmless…

@magpie234 I’m trying to wait until Friday which is my OTD. I actually don’t have any pregnancy tests at home which is helping matters. I’d really like to order a FRER on Amazon now but I think I should try to wait and order on Thursday.

By the way, I read yesterday that it takes 14 days for the trigger shot to be metabolised by the body, whether that’s legit I have no idea but thought I’d share.

@Mottlegill Great effort! Not too much longer to go. I read that too so am not counting my faint line as a bfp for now. Obviously hoping it is though as it will be 14 days tomorrow from my trigger and my line this morning was clear albeit far from as dark as the control line, and a little darker than yesterday’s.
