Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

@Bluebell155 congrats ok the positive test. Those tests looks good. @Rosieposy89 I am so sorry to hear this. It is definitely not a fair journey. Sending you lots of hugs.

I tested this morning and think I have major lime eyes putting lines where there are none 😂

I feel like I see something but then again I feel it’s completely blank.

Omwards to tomorrow. I had really bad period cramps all night and this morning. Not good.

We tested this morning which I think since having transfer Wednesday is about 3.5 days ish . The test was negative a bit deflating but telling myself this is not over not yet anyway hopefully I’m being positive and not deluded to think that

@Hope19888 I had my transfer the same day as you. Not tested yet as I reckon too early so hopefully not over for you yet.

@Hopefull1981 This sounds hopeful! If there is a line there is a line right? By the sounds of it lots of women with cramps get bfps. How many days post are you?

@Bluebell155 OK thanks. Early days for me but I would like to feel more symptoms as is weird feeling next to nothing! Hard to imagine anything is going on down there tbh. Hope your backache improves!

@magpie234 Congrats, that's a good line. You must be elated.

We have 4 blastocysts left. My husband told me to stay away from Google today... BUT I think I might ask the clinic for steroids/clexane for the next transfer. I might suggest sedation too as my transfers are extremely difficult. Something is going wrong at transfer/implantation stage as everything else is great. Part of me wants to give up altogether and just focus on being a family of 3, but it's just hard when you have embryos. If we didn't have those, I'd have closed the door on this chapter.

@magpie234 i feel like I see a line but genuinely think it’s my eyes playing tricks or wishful thinking. I am 5dp 5dt. I am not confident at all there are lines at all. I am going to wait until tomorrow that will be more definitive hopefully. I used the strip test and I think there is a shadow of a line but again I look at it one way see it and another one way completely blank.

@Hope19888 my gosh you are super early please done feel disheartened. It’s very rare to have a positive at 4dp and even 5dp.

@Rosieposy89 Think you meant @Bluebell155 as not tested yet… but shall hope your mistake is a good omen for me when I do 😂

Hope your follow-up consultation results in some changes that get you that bfp soon.

@Hopefull1981 that was the case for me with the very very light shadow. I think it really depends what way you tilt it to be able to even see anything. But that’s really positive as it’s still early days and if you test tomorrow morning hopefully it will be more visible ❤️

@FrostedFlake honestly think it was just my line eyes. I still have really bad cramps. I keep expecting my period.

Sorry I haven’t been back to this thread sooner - I had been struggling not to test, so didn’t want to think about anything related to it!

But I started spotting again at 11dp3dt so took an early test and it was a very strong positive. Did the same today (12dp3dt) on a weaker 25miu one and again got a very strong line.

However I’ve been having sharp pains to one side of my abdomen, plus have felt lumps on my cervix (that weren’t there before - I’m praying it’s related to the cyclogest?), although at the moment the spotting has stopped. So I’m really trying not to get my hopes up yet 😢 Has anyone experienced anything similar?

So I am having a bit of a stress because I am rubbish at drinking enough water. I definitely did not have 8-10 glasses today 😩. Going to try and drink lots more tomorrow but now worried I have ruined my chances what with the weather being warm since my transfer! How much have you all been drinking?!

I have just woken up bleeding, huge lumps and cramping 😔 everything was normal before, strong tests, symptoms..devastated is not the word

@FlatWhiteAnyone Ohhh this is awful news. So worrying and upsetting for you. I hope you can get some answers asap today.

This morning I caved and tested and for the first time ever (in years) I can see a very faint second line. I cried and then stared at the wall for ages. I am 4.5dp5dt so super early. So I know the line may not develop further and that this very much does not guarantee us a baby. But… it is the furthest we have ever got so I am buzzing to tell my husband when he gets home this evening. However given all we have been through I am also wondering if I should wait and see if the line develops first… that is silly though right? No way will I be able to keep this secret. I guess I just still cannot believe it tbh. Guess this is what infertility does to us!

@FlatWhiteAnyone im so sorry to hear that! Are you going to go to EPU? I know it’s still early days but hopefully they can scan you and see what’s going on.
I have seen people talking about subchorionic hematoma that cause bleeding early on in pregnancy. I really hope everything works out ❤️❤️❤️

Awh that’s amazing news @magpie234 congrats!!! how are you feeling?

@magpie234, @FrostedFlake thank you, ivf clinic said not to scan as too early and might be false negative. Bleeding just spotting now but the clot was so big like 5-7cm, not just red. Also I don’t have full breast and have cramps. Clinic said to add additional progesterone injection but it is just delaying the obvious. After so many mc I do recognise when symptoms stop. If there’s retaining tissue, I will be testing positive still too. I just want a clear answer

@FrostedFlake Thanks! I feel cautiously excited but it is sooooooooo early. Definitely going to channel my excitement into getting further than ever before rather than yay we are having a baby! I feel fine… pretty normal tbh. Bit crampy but only mildly. Boobs slightly tender but barely noticeable. I guess my hcg has only just started rising so these are prob just progesterone symptoms with maybe a bit of implantation. How are you doing?

@magpie234 cautious congratulations on this first milestone! I think ivf takes away a joy and we are full with worries and never can celebrate properly. But we need to cherish these moments xx

@FlatWhiteAnyone Thanks. I think so too and that is sad but exactly as you say I am trying to reframe it to be about looking for what is worth celebrating - ie a new milestone. I so hope all works out OK for you and that this is just a horrible scare. Or at least that you find out sooner rather than later.

I am now also wondering if it is a false positive from my hcg trigger shot.. taken 11 days ago on 6th. This would be classic impatient behaviour for me! So I am glad I am not getting too excited just yet 😅

Called my gynecologist and she said too early to scan and come on Friday only.. I will have to wait and see

@Hopefull1981 thank you! It is difficult as lines are do strong, and all was smooth.. probably too smooth. Gives me anxiety and flashbacks to mc with my OE, thus is first DE transfer with a perfect embryo..so hoped I have a real chance this time
