Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

@Bluebell155 FWIW I did one too just now and it was stark white negative but my pee was far from morning-level concentrated so I should have just not done it really!

Me being paranoid tested again and it is postive - but its still quite faint right??

@Bluebell155 It is but your pee is still unlikely to be as concentrated as your first morning one! I am still hopeful for you.

Where does everyone get their FRER’s from please? Amazon has messed up my delivery again. Was supposed to be arriving between 6pm-8pm tonight but not dispatched yet so unlikely it’s coming. The exact same thing happened yesterday so I’m giving up hope in them now. Ordered several other things which have been delivered perfectly fine but of course the tests that I so desperately need are nowhere to be found sigh

@Bluebell155 that seems like a great line specially not for FMU. How many DPT are you?
@ForeverHopeful17 that’s very disappointing! Wonder if they are having stock issues with them. I usually get them off Amazon. If you got the 2 pack maybe try the 3 pack instead?

@magpie234 I think it depends on the trigger and how it gets metabolised by your system. This is our 5th transfer and I’ve never had any trigger left in my body that would show up on a FRER by day 3 as I alway test then to make sure it’s not giving me a false positive on day 4 and beyond. So probably depends on the person and what they’ve used. Congrats on being pregnant!

@ForeverHopeful17 Do you have a Home Bargains near you? The Clear and Simple Early Response are only 99p and are another “up to 6 days early” test. They are 10miu rather than 6miu like FRER but I got a lovely strong line on them at 11dp3dt even with dilute evening urine.

Very sadly I’ve had pains and bleeding since then and have been getting fainter lines, so am currently waiting for another beta test at the EPU 🥲 But I do think they are very good tests- I was originally going to get FRER’s from Amazon instead, but I kept reading reviews saying that there were a lot of false positives/strong evap lines with those lately and didn’t want to risk it.

Quick update we are on the morning of day 7 we took four tests this morning 3 home bargains one clear blue all three tests showed positive however the home bargians digital test said not pregnant not sure what to think but we keep going for another day :)

@Hope19888 Great news I reckon. I did a Clear Blue this morning as well as my cheapy pink strips and both are positive so we are taking as a bfp. Of course my brain has gone immediately into protection mode and I feel I am waiting for an inevitable down to this up. But going to try to stay calm and positive while also keeping realistic that it is super early and a live birth is not guaranteed. Thank goodness Love is Blind drops more episodes tonight 😅

@FrostedFlakeI was thinking the same that there were having stock issues however I ordered both a 2 pack and 3 pack and neither of the two had come. However I’ve just got a notification that they’re out for delivery by 1pm so I’m hopeful I’ll be able to get my hands on some today. How are you feeling? Are you experiencing any symptoms yet x

@Alexandrineoh no sorry you’re having pains and bleeding has EPU been able to give you an update? Fingers crossed for you that everything is still okay. My husband actually passes by a home bargains on his way home so I’ll ask him to pick some up if Amazon disappoint again x

Unfortunaely i think mine is a chemical- tests today faint again using morning urine. Im getting bloods taken today at doctors?

Fingers crossed for those getting BFPs! So hard to have to temper the excitement knowing all we do about this process. I really do struggle hearing about people who achieve a pregnancy first month of trying and sail through easy breezy all the way to the end. I know resentment is not a positive thing but it is super tough to not feel that.

I had very light spotting start last night and continue and increase a bit this morning. I’m 9dp5dt so unsure what to think as some things say cyclogest holds off your period until you stop it whilst others say you can get your period whilst taking cyclogest. Why do you do this, Google, why?!

I have to wait till tomorrow for my bt results so annoying... ive done two more tests today still positive but lighter than yesterday

@Bluebell155 I’m sorry to hear that it’s taking a while for the BT to comeback. It’s annoying not knowing and I wish they could turn them around quicker. With my clinic it also depends on when in the day they are done and if you get them same day or the next day. Did you go to EPU? Did they say anything else?
im hoping it’s just less concentrated urine and that everything works out ❤️❤️❤️

@Mottlegill hope the sporting has stopped! I had a small bit of brownish discharge yesterday and was a little upset as I know bleeding in early pregnancy is very common it’s still not ideal as it sends us spiralling.

@ForeverHopeful17 i hope your tests arrived! Let us know how you get on and the best of luck! I hope this little guy is super sticky!

@Hope19888 I wonder if the digital ones are less sensitive but that’s great news that the other tests showed lines! Congrats!!!

@Alexandrine how are you feeling? I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been bleeding and that the tests are getting lighter. What did they say at the EPU? Did you get your BT results back? Hope everything is ok ❤️

@FrostedFlake hi, I am managing given the situation 😅 No bleeding but when wiping sometimes light brown/pink/peach discharge. Tests show positive but then I know even if it was mc some retain tissue might be still there. So decided not to think even till Friday. My DH traveling so I will have to go on my own to get the news - sad or happy
Try not to stress about discharge, dr told me it us normal

Hi ladies, can any of you tell me a bit more about having a FET.
We just froze our two embryos today as I couldn't do a fresh due to high progesterone . My clinic haven't described to me the next steps in the process yet and im curious, how long it is before starting an FET and what kind of medication do you have to take to prepare for an FET ? and roughly what was the cost of the medication needed

I, meanwhile, am driving myself absolutely bananas as I'm 5dp5dt and have ZERO stymptoms except annoying low-level cramps, which I've had for days. Determined not to test until OTD but MAN this sucks 😫

Are they going to retest in 48 hours? How many days are you?

I dont think so. Im 2 weeks post transfer so levels should be a lot higher by now

@Bunnymum93 Thank you. I welcome any crossed fingers and toes at the moment as it all feels so precarious. I respect you for waiting for OTD! Try not to worry about the lack of symptoms… obv tbc how mine progresses (sooooo early) but I feel totally normal bar the low-level cramps you mention (mine feel diff to other cramps… more tingly/stingy/tuggy but hard to describe?). My positive is much clearer and darker this morning (approaching the test line in colour) and I am 9dp5dt today.

@FlatWhiteAnyone Thinking of you today and so hope you get positive news. That sucks that you have to go on your own. I hope the team at your clinic are supportive.

@FrostedFlake@Mottlegill I would be the same with any discharge or spotting! I hope it stops soon for you both. It just feels wrong that any bleeding can be fine but have also read that it absolutely can be.

@ForeverHopeful17 Hope you finally got your hands on some tests - and of course that they deliver a glowing second line when you decide to use them.
