Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

Hello everyone,

I’m 4dp5dt and am finding it so comforting reading about other people who are in the same position as it can feel so lonely a lot of the time especially as no one in my family/friendship group has experienced anything similar to me.

I guess this is our 3rd round. We did the first one in May last year which resulted in my first ever pregnancy but I found out I had a missed miscarriage (around 18 weeks) at my 20 week scan. There are no words. We then had a cancelled cycle in March this year as I didn’t respond at all. My consultant told me not to go ahead again with my own eggs but I wanted to give it one last shot.

So here we are. I have hope but I’m really trying to manage my expectations.

@Mottlegill i am so sorry to hear about your loss. That’s so hard. How are you feeling?

I had such an urge to test this morning but didn’t. I think I will test tonight. I am still technically 3dp5dt so figured it was a waste of tests. Ugh I had a dream I had a blazing positive which doesn’t help.

@Mottlegill No words indeed. That must have been an impossibly tough time that I am very sorry to hear about. Totally understandable not to want to get your hopes up… but also so hard not to right? Wishing you all the very best for this round. I agree that it is so helpful having others to chat to who are also on this ride.

@Hopefull1981 Great job resisting the strips! So hope your dream was a prophecy! But ugh hard to wake up and realise it was a dream.

Doing OK here thanks. Off for a bbq with some friends and to watch some silly tv together so that should help take my mind off things today. Still not sure when I will test but maybe Monday when I will be 4.5 days post transfer. If I can hold off longer I will though as I would prefer to pass the time until we can try again thinking there is a chance than thinking am definitely out…

@magpie234 it was hard to resist. My embryos are BC’s so it’s pretty silly to think they will have implanted even by tomorrow by all accounts. Hope you enjoy the barbecue.

we hadn’t planned anything thinking the little fella would be in the horrors. He is running around here like nothing happened. 😂

@Hopefull1981 Oh is that a thing that they take longer to implant? Ours is a 3BB (though my clinic actually use a diff rating and is 6/10 there).

@magpie234 yeah the second letter is responsible for implantation. My little fella was/is a 3BB.

we had our transfer on Wednesday morning 5AA ..

really struggling with the wait just want to test test test !! is day 4 a ridiculous time to think about taking a test ?

Welcome @Hope19888 . Congrats are being PUPO, I am a day ahead of you. I think if we all could test straight away we would. The struggle is real. I managed to resist so far as theoretically there should be not be anything. I’ll either test tonight or tomorrow morning for sure.

I'm 10dpt5dt tomorrow and shall do my first test. Feel utterly sick with nerves

Got everything crossed for everyone , I read somewhere that transfer day doesn’t count as a day so I think technically we are only day 3 but I’m still getting my head around how it fully works haha

@Hope19888 you are right I don’t think transfer day counts as technically that’s also day 5 for the embryo (if it wasn’t frozen it would be done on day 5 so I assume the day of the thaw is still considered day 5?) so it probably makes sense for it to be day one the day after the transfer.

how’s everyone else feeling? Any one planning on testing early next week? Anyone going in for any scans?

Im 10dp transfer is this too light or an evap line?

I got a very brutal not pregnant on my test this morning 😭.
It's our second failed blastocyst transfer now (unexplained infertility). I have no idea where to go from here really.
I'm going to a carnival with my daughter today, so I have a distraction at least

@Rosieposy89 Ohhhhhh booooooo! Sorry to hear this news. So hard when you just want to know whyyyy. Great you have some fun plans with your daughter today. Then hopefully you can take some time to process and regroup and decide your next plan. Do you have other frozen embryos?

Unexplained over here too until just last week when we went to see a male fertility specialist and now believe at least our main contributor is mfi (despite his normal semen analysis!). Because of this I will also be shocked to my core if our test is positive (and immediately stressed about miscarriage tbh) as am still transferring embryos from a round before anything has been done to hopefully improve his sperm. But I guess you never know as we did get some blasts 🤷‍♀️. Untested though and one failed the thaw (5% chance of that!). First fresh transfer also failed.

@Rosieposy89 im so sorry! My clinic said if it was negative test today, test again in 3 days time? Im glad you have a busy day planned. Take time for yourself too xx

I realize the pics on here not great quality. When i was first pregnant with my daughter my tests were faint too start with too, so im hoping this is the same.

I’m so so sorry @Rosieposy89 this is just so unfair after everything you have to go through to even get to this stage. Sending you so much love and a big hug. Please mind yourself ❤️

Congratulations @Bluebell155 thats definitely a very visible line so I’d take it as great news!!

@Bluebell155 Have you had any symptoms? I feel totally normal other than maybe a bit tired with sliiiiightly sore boobs but both those things are normal progesterone symptoms for me so meh. Bit crampy too but again so mild and prob only noticing for obvious reasons. No spotting at all. I will be 4dp5dt this afternoon.

@magpie234 i have had cramping like ever since transfer, soo bloated, sore boobs, slight nausea at times, my back hurts soo bad. I still feel like my period is about to come. Im gonna test again next wednesday. I cant get my hopes up yet as i still feel crampy like anything
