February/March FET

Hi all, looking to start a chat with anyone transferring February or March time. I have my baseline scan booked in next week and if all goes to plan then I'll start treatment & have my second frozen transfer on 4th March. My first FET in September 2024 sadly failed 😞
Any transfer buddies?

Thanks @Feliciacat . OTD isn't til something silly like the 26th! And just a pee stick, not blood test, though I am tempted by medichecks HCG bloods just to get a better view. I know it won't change anything though so really just a waste of £100 which seems silly.

I've only ever had bloods done in one previous pregnancy and my HCG was low for the point in time it was checked but that went on to be a love birth so it might just stress me out unnecessarily as well.

@KenIsAnAccessory that is a really good line!! Very promising! Everyone's line will look a bit different depending on when implantation occurred and, as you say, levels of hydration etc. X

Also God bless FRERs! Those cheapies had me spiralling yesterday!

@BellaRosex at what point do the LH strips show? I'm beginning to wish I'd bought some cheap tests now but it's too late for anything to come now. 🙄 And I've only got 2 frer so I don't want to waste those too early. I do have some LH tests though.
I have to say I don't feel much happening so I'm not sure it's worked. I can't believe I'm only day 4 though, it's really dragging.

Really pleased everyone is getting positive changes with their lines though! That's great news.

@paintfairy I just started LH at the same time as all my other cheapies (4dp5t) so I don't actually know. My first one was only a very faint line but it has progressed. It obviously isn't the accurate way to measure HCG so I'd be careful about just using them in case they send you spiralling! I would only ever use them in conjunction with another test.

Also don't give up yet. If you look back, my first post on this thread was written out of anxiety because I wasn't feeling any symptoms so had assumed it didn't work.

@BellaRosex I've just ordered some cheapies that will hopefully come Monday. 🤞 I've got some out of date frer but I didn't want to risk those. 🤣

That's probably a sensible idea not to use the FRER. Also today could potentially still be too early to tell on a test. I hope you manage to have a relaxing weekend and remember, you're pregnant unless proven otherwise #pupo❤️ x

@BellaRosex oh yeah, I wouldn't have tried to test until Sunday maybe, even if i had some. I don't want to risk doing it too early.

Hi @AnonS; I’m sure there are some others on this thread who are waiting for their transfers until March for various reasons. It’s just that a few of us that all had our transfers around the same time already so it’s mostly us talking atm. We will be glad to hear any thoughts or questions or anything you have to say. Can I join? My FET was on 10 February and my OTD is Monday, 24 February. I've been testing positive on Easy@Home since 5dp5dt and I think I can see good line progression. I'm hoping for a good blood test result on Monday!

It's my first FET after a long and brutal embryo banking process and PGT-A.

Hi @GreenLemonade ! Your dates are similar to mine. My transfer was Tuesday 11th and my OTD is also this Monday. Fingers crossed we get the results we want! 🤞🏻

Thanks @BellaRosex, fingers crossed! My last test looks similar to yours so hopefully that's a good sign. We first contacted the fertility clinic in May last year, it feels like such a long time to wait for the first transfer!

@paintfairy - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you too! 4dpt is very early, I was still testing negative on day 4

I've got cramps this morning and I'm not sure they feel like good ones? I'm 5dp5dt. Did anyone else have this?

Maybe. I've had weird twinges and shooting pains (only small) and really light cramps. But these feel a bit more AF like.

@paintfairy I have had the exact same thing. I'm 11DP5T and still have period cramps. I had shooting pains in my lower back a couple of days ago and convinced myself it was the start of a mc.

It could be a good sign of implantation 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@paintfairy and the cramps are exactly like period cramps. It has also worried me at moments.

@BellaRosex thank you. Maybe then. The not knowing is just a right mess with your head! Going to the toilet triggered it and it does that before AF. But I suppose maybe not quite so much this far in advance. AF is technically due Wed/Thurs. I do get signs way before usually but I think it would have been milder maybe. I'll keep clinging on to hope. 🤣

@paintfairy I completely empathise with you. This whole process is torture! The not knowing is torture but I find that even getting my bfp hasn't eased my concerns. Every time I use the loo, I'm expecting to see blood (as has happened with my only two times being pregnant). It's an emotional rollercoaster because early pregnancy symptoms are so similar to period symptoms. Hang in there and don't give up. I'd rather feel some sort of twinging, light cramping than nothing (I panic when any of that goes away for a moment lol)

Welcome @GreenLemonade - your lines are looking fab- what brand of test is that?

I've tested using wondfo the last 2 days (saving my FRERs in the hope of a dye stealer on OTD) and they are looking a tiny bit darker each day. Even Mr 'I can't see a line' DH agrees 🤞
