BFP after IVF - due October 2025

Hi all I thought I would create a thread for our BFPs after IVF.

A bit about me: 34 years old (35 next month)
2x failed transfers and 1x failed to thaw
BFP with this little blub. Scan date 7th of February (will be 6wks1day)🎊
Here's to continuous panicking 🤪

@roowoop thanks so much for the welcome 🤗 I would try not to worry about the symptoms (which is impossible 😂) but I’m finding the progesterone has put me on a rollercoaster even before transfer,one day I feel nauseous the next day I’m fine the next day I’ve got heartburn and the next day I’m irritable and the next day I’m crying 🤣 good luck for your scan!

@Sherr33 @cleggrickman annoyingly my OTD isn’t until 15dp5dt,which falls next Saturday,I’m going to call them Friday (all being well 🤞) to see if they will take my word for it and let me book in for a blood test on Monday 10th.

Oh wow. Why is that? Did you have a FET?

@Sherr33 im not sure! I noticed someone had previously said how late OTD is for my clinic, how many days after transfer is yours? Yea I had a FET

@Cosyseason1234 that is quite a long date, my OTD was 11dp5dt

@Hopefullyonedaysoon @Sherr33 maybe to save themselves the cost of a blood test if it goes negative in the second week?! Not sure but I think I will message and tell them tomorrow as I missed their call to check in on Friday. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend xx

@roowoop same feeling as you - I got my 3+ but my symptoms have changed over the last few days. I had sickness, it's gone away, and the tiredness too. the next few days best go quick before the scan!

@roowoop if it gives you any reassurance, I barely have any pregnancy symptoms even now! Keeping all my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully Wednesday comes by quickly for you.

@Cosyseason1234, My clinic was similar to yours, the OTD is 14dpt. They refused to accept my positive test before then.

I've had the worst night ever. My husband left me. And I've just been sat bawling my eyes out not being able to sleep. Barely had 2 hours sleep. But I'm trying to just remain positive and hopefully I can continue to carry myself forward. Ive been worried sick about my lubion injections because i was completely reliant on him, lesson learned so today i can never get it right 😭Hope everyone else has had a better weekend than me 💓

@Sherr33 I am so sorry to hear this. Hopefully it will blow over? ivf is such a difficult emotional rollercoaster. Look after yourself today and hopefully you have got some family/friends who can look after you. Here if you need a rant! Xx

Maybe this time apart is what is needed. And he can figure out what he actually wants either live life like you're still single or commit to us and the future.

I'm okay. I think with the 2024 up until now we've just been all about ivf and transfers and it's just got to a point where we are both emotional and it's drained the spark from not just the relationship but generally in life as we've had to put so much things in hold and maybe there some sort underlying resentment and hurt there. I think we just need this space for both of us to take a breather. Being on medication doesn't help me either as I'm so hormonal but he's also human. I think we just need to be better at communicating but for now I'm enjoying my Netflix time on my own haha. Thank you so much for your kind words. I love this community for getting me through this journey.

@Sherr33 fully get this! IVF really does take over and is one of the most stressful things that I’ve ever been through. Enjoy the Netflix and the alone time 👏🏻 certainly while on the meds and everything is irritating 🤣 hope you are feeling abit brighter today?

Hi, may I join? I got my BFP using easy at home 4dp5dt and using clear blue today 6dp5dt. I am getting different due dates, chatgp giving me one and websites giving me different, what are you all using to predict yours?

What are people ensuring they do / have to get them to the 5 week mark?

@HeadInTheClouds4 welcome and congratulations 🎊 I didn't really understand my due date but when I went for hcg test and I got my results I was booked for my scan and when I asked how many weeks that would make me I got told 6weeks and 1 day so I based my calculations off that otherwise I'd be just as confused. I transferred on the 13th if Jan a 5day embryo. And my estimated due date is 2nd of October. I hope someone else on here has better knowledge on how to calculate it for you x

@HeadInTheClouds4 if you go onto flo if due date calculator you can select the day of your transfer and whether it was a 3 or 5 day transfer and it will tell you your due date.

Hi guys hope your all doing ok. Just received my BETA result and it's in its 400's which is amazing. At my clinic it needs to be over 80. Scan booked for the 17th when I'll be 6weeks and 1 day x

@cleggrickman that's the same with my clinic anything over 80. What day post transfer does your clinic usually test? It's so varied with everyone's clinics. I've got my 6week1day scan thus Friday. I am with sick with nerves but also so excited 🤣

They test on day 10 now however I remember with my DD it was 14 days. I don't know what stats each clinic work off. It's so hard this journey isn't it. You jump over one to be faced with the other. I just think I'm not naive to a lot of it now and that's my issue. With DD I tested early and went to clinic really happy to be knocked back with it needs to be over a certain level which luckily it was. Then my 6 week scan the sac was empty to had to go back the week after where they eventually found her. This time my eyes are wide open and I'm very scared xx

@Cosyseason1234 your OTD does seem a bit late yea! mine was at 11dp5dt. Maybe it is to save them the blood test. My clinic dont even do the blood tests which Ive found very annoying!

@Sherr33 I am so so sorry to hear this. The IVF journey really just completely takes over and your whole lives are put on pause. Hopefully you guys can take a breather and find yourself in the chaos again, it is so emotionally draining on both. Most importantly look after yourself, indulge in ALLL of the trash tv and rant here as much as you need to!❤❤

@HeadInTheClouds4 Welcome! To be honest Im a bit confused too, I was going by the nhs guide which is first day of your last period but some people are going by ovulation so I dont really know, planning to ask at my first scan!

@cleggrickman Thats great news! So true about how its hurdle after hurdle and each one brings a new set of worries. All fingers crossed for you!

@monicabella1234 ive got an awful migraine today too 🤢 I had some brown discharge yesterday and I think the stress of it caused it 😖 hope you are ok.

It’s just the tiniest bit now so just trying not to overthink and what will be will be,much harder said than done though 😂 hope you are ok? How many days past transfer are you now?
