@Hopefullyonedaysoonyep will be in here til Monday atleast, it’s positive atm as no pain or cramping and closed cervix so fingers crossed all goes well and can go home then to bed rest!

bluebella2 · 12/07/2025 00:57

@Daniki oh no that's so scary. How are you doing? Did it just come from no where? Were you feeling ok? Good that cervix is closed. keep us posted ❤️ I'll be thinking of you

Scoobywho24 · 12/07/2025 09:13

@Daniki hope you’re ok. Hope baby can hang on in there a little while more!!

Hope everyone is going ok in their pregnancies. Mine has been somewhat eventful. My baby has a renal pelvis dilation (hydronephrosis) that is quite severe. She will likely lose function of her right kidney or require surgery in first few weeks of life.
Who knew kidneys produce amniotic fluid?! I’m being closely monitored incase my waters reduce.

At 21 week anomaly scan they thought they saw a hole in the heart which led to lots of conversation about invasive testing and possible chromosomal syndromes as the 2 together are soft markers. I was fast tracked to queen Charlotte fetal medicine centre where they found a perfectly healthy heart with no issues. It’s been very stressful and I’m under peri natal mental health for anxiety.

counting my lucky stars that I won’t have to do this again once baby is here 💕

Daniki · 12/07/2025 09:44

@bluebella2thank you! I was feeling fine, I was sitting on the bed changing my son into his jamys and next thing got a gush of fluid (which j thought originally was really watery discharge as had that a few days prior) but had soaked through a pad knickers and to the bed 🙈 knew something wasn’t right and I rang my local hosp( as my maternity hosp 2 hours away and this was 9pm) and they were so dismissive that I felt silly. Went into my gp next morning as I had an app anyway due to protein in urine and he was so angry at the hosp, just sent me straight to my maternity one then and so glad he did to be honest. Will be here til Monday anyway they’ll scan me again to check fluid etc as had reduced yest but baby is moving around as normal, heart rate is good and I have no pain to indicate labour 🙏 so hoping they will stay in there for as long as possible!

@Scoobywho24oh god that’s a lot on your plate! Hoping when baby girl arrives it’s not as serious as they think, seems to happen a lot especially with the heart thing! My friend was told her son had 3 holes in his heart and would be dangerously ill but when he was born he was fine thank god!

bluebella2 · 13/07/2025 22:24

@Daniki wow! That's so bad they were dismissive with you, lucky your doctor made you go in. How are you feeling today? Do you think you'll get out tomorrow? X

Daniki · 13/07/2025 22:57

@bluebella2no 🙈 another doc came to see me and said I’d be here for the foreseeable, as I live 2 hours away if there was an emergency it would be a disaster. Said I’d be better off here for monitoring so Wil just stay if needed! I work in a school thank god so I’m off anyway atm 🙈

bluebella2 · 14/07/2025 07:35

@Daniki oh no! But he is right!! Better to be there in case of emergency. But is everything looking ok? Xx

Daniki · 14/07/2025 09:22

@bluebella2yep all looking good so far thank god! 🙏🙏

Scoobywho24 · 14/07/2025 10:58

@Daniki how long will you have to stay? It’s the best place to be! Hope you’re not too uncomfortable x

Daniki · 15/07/2025 17:44

@Scoobywho24i think I’m in here until baby comes 🙈 it’s not too bad just very warm!

InGodsHands · 05/08/2025 23:29

How is everyone doing? Has anyone else in the 3rd trimester this week? @Daniki Are you still in hospital? I hope all is well with you and baby x

Thatslifethatsit · 06/08/2025 06:36

I was in 3rd trimester a couple of weeks ago about 7 weeks to due date. Doing well here been a bit hectic and had a meltdown yesterday that I desperately need a double buggy ( slept on it really isn’t that big of a deal)
how is everyone doing?

InGodsHands · 06/08/2025 09:53

Aww congratulations 🥰 @Thatslifethatsit you’re down to single digits! I had the same thought about double buggy so we’re going for one that can be adapted. Uppababy isn’t a bad choice and they have good deals on a few websites incase you wanted to look and half the price of the bigger brands x

bluebella2 · 06/08/2025 23:39

Hey all... I'm on week 29! But I'm scheduled to come early so only 7 weeks left!!

@Thatslifethatsit I ordered the twin uppababy vista v3. It's really lightweight compared to others and figured more practical for my lifestyle

Thatslifethatsit · 07/08/2025 06:18

I’ll take a look at that one - I’ve been eyeing up and out n about nipper but happy to look at all of them

Daniki · 07/08/2025 07:02

@InGodsHandshey! Doing good, still in hosp will be here until baby comes. I’m 29+1 now! They will section me at 37 weeks if everything remains ok so at most I have 8 weeks left here 😂🙈

InGodsHands · 07/08/2025 07:54

Good choice @bluebella2 I've gone for the Vista 2.

Oh wow @Daniki you're in the best place to keep you and baby safe. Hopefully the next 8 weeks fly by for you!

Good luck everyone. Final stretch 🥰

Daniki · 08/08/2025 11:29

Thanks guys, typically iv now caught covid while in here so I’m in a private room for a few days while I isolate which is nice at night time 😂 but also praying the next few weeks go quickly, I’m generally a mentally strong person but can really feel that slipping 🥺

also We have the vista 2 from our son and I found it great!

InGodsHands · 08/08/2025 16:05

Bless you @Daniki I can only imagine what you’re going through. Try and listen to a few positive pregnancy podcasts if you can. I’ve been listening to Jessie Ware’s recently on the drives to work. I know we have another “heatwave” next week so if you’re still in isolation get a fan! ❤️

Daniki · 08/08/2025 18:11

@InGodsHandsoh I have one thank god iv had it since I came in as we had a heatwave then 😂😂 don’t think it has stopped going so I imagine it will kick the bucket soon! Thanks must look her up!

Daniki · 14/09/2025 13:30

How’s everyone getting on? Getting closer to crunch time!! I’m booked for a section 1st off and Jesus it can’t come quick enough I’m still in the hospital 9 weeks later but baby is staying put 😂

Mseddy · 14/09/2025 18:19

9 weeks! Wow that's a stint! Yay for an end date though. How many weeks will you be then?

I'll hopefully get an induction date next week! Hoping for 38 weeks

Daniki · 14/09/2025 19:41

@Mseddyil be bang on 37 weeks, that’s as far as they’ll push it with PPROM! Passing pinky fluid now so wondering will I labour before hand but probably not if they’ve held off this long! Oh that be great, when are you 38 weeks?

Mseddy · 14/09/2025 21:42

I'm 36 on thursday so another 2 and a bit weeks. They've talked about 37-38 so might be sooner.

Good luck with the section. Exciting the babies are arriving!

Scoobywho24 · 15/09/2025 07:40

Hey! I’m 34 weeks today and elected for a c section. So I’m guessing another 5 weeks for me. Still have a few scans for baby’s kidneys.

wow @Daniki how has it been staying in hospital? Have you been out and about at all during that time?

not long now 🥰
