Already feel like it's been 3 weeks not 3 days!

Hi all just updating here that my scan went well, baby is measuring on track. Gives me a bit of reassurance and makes it feel a bit more real. Thank you all for your support and keeping everything crossed that things go smoothly for all you all.

@CakePigeon30 how did you get on? X

@SAbs86 mine went well too, also measuring on track and saw the little heart beat ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

@SAbs86 and @CakePigeon30 congratulations to you both! Had another beta HCG today, get the results tomorrow morning. Feeling anxious but using positive affirmations to stay positive. When I get anxious I'm saying "today I am pregnant and that's a wonderful thing" and surprisingly it has helped a bit. X

@SAbs86 my clinic offers another scan in two weeks time then that's it until 12 weeks. What about you?

@CakePigeon30 mine does too need to the price though think it's like another £300! I want to do it though just to keep me going until 12 weeks. Are you on any medication?

@SAbs86 ahh mine is funded through IVF, lucky to get three rounds where I am funded, this was my second cycle. Did not think it would be that expensive!!!

Yep I am on 3x cyclogest a day, think they said I would have to take until 12 weeks. What about you?

I'm still waiting for midwife to get in touch - had a missed call last Monday from them with a message saying they would ring me back to arrange my booking in appointment and they haven't got back to me. The number just comes up 'unknown number' so I can't even ring them back.

@CakePigeon30 I'm also very lucky because my treatment has been funded through my private insurance at work but it's only up to a certain amount. I've definitely paid much less than if we were self funding though.

I'm on cyclogest 2 x per day and prednisolone 25 mg a day I need to start reducing the dosage from Feb.

Ive got my first appt next Weds and then they've booked me in for a few more. It's going feel weird going to the NHS for these apps vs. my clinic! That's weird there isn't even a number for you to contact them on.

Morning everyone. HCG came back at 2699 yesterday at 19dp5dt. Clinic is happy it's doubling so now I have to wait until 23rd Jan for my scan. It's seems forever away I think I'll be about 8 weeks.

Have ordered my meds until scan and have another intra lipid this Thursday to keep my TH1s down. I remain on 3 x cyclogest, 1 x prontogest every other day, oestradiol 3x a day. Also on inhixa in evening.

I contacted to register with midwife today too.

@charja100 thank you - just got back from getting to the hospital for a blood test as they sent me for another hcg test after I reported spotting to them. I am in Norway and we have had an insane amount of snow, I literally was wading through 2 feet of snow down to the bus stop in the dark early this morning, was a bit of a challenge! Quite a good distraction though. Thank you for the affirmation idea, I’ll give it a try at least until they call me later with the results. Have you had your results yet?

@Triselly that's great that they've bought you in to double check. It's definitely better to be safe than sorry. Although not ideal to be wading through that much snow in the dark! Hopefully it will give you more peace of mind when you get the results. Had the spitting stopped now?

Yes I got my results from my bloods taken yesterday this morning. My HCG came back at 2699 yesterday at 19dp5dt. Clinic is happy it's doubling (was 567 on 15dp5dt) so now I have to wait until 23rd Jan for my scan. It's seems forever away I think I'll be about 8 weeks by the time they take it.

I asked them today about weeks calculations etc as I was all in a muddle as my apps was saying something different. They confirmed I'm 5w4 today.

@charja100 Very glad to hear that!! Sounds like a very strong little one - hopefully the results will make it a bit easier to relax and enjoy this time xx

I just got my results and today the levels are looking good, I’m going back on Thursday for another test to check that it’s doubling. I’m at 21,700 today at 6w3 so although I need to wait another couple of days to get a really conclusive answer I feel slightly more hopeful now.

@triselly thank you! Oh wow that's alot of snow! Great news on your blood test today, wishing you luck for Thursday. I asked my nurse yesterday about my spotting and she said it was likely implantation bleeding. I thought implantation bleeding was during the 2WW but she said it can happen after too, so you may have had the same as me. And it's very common in alot of pregnancies. Xx

@charja100 great news on your bloods. The waiting for the scan is the worst, hope it goes quickly for you x

Is anyone else feeling bloated? By the end of the day, I literally look about 5 months pregnant it's so uncomfortable! I'm not sure if the meds, the pregnancy or a combination of both.

@SAbs86 I'm bloated, a lot of trousers feeling too tight already, especially my jeans (might be off Christmas though haha)

... and just like that. A gush of bright red blood when I went to the toilet. Staring to cramp now too. Looking like it's yet another chemical for me.

Called the clinic and they've told me to go in for bloods again tomorrow.

@charja100 I'm so sorry. I have read many many stories of bleeding caused by subchorionic hematoma but the pregnancy turned out to be fine. Totally understand that you don't want to get your hopes up. Keeping everything crossed for you. Let us know how you get on tomorrow xx
