Congratulations @CakePigeon30 ! Lovely news.
I've just had to check - I've been taking proceive max for months now, it says it only has 35 micrograms?! So must be a super small dose if the nhs recommends 10mg! I have no idea.
I'll have a call with my clinic tomorrow so I'm going to ask them about supplements to take moving forwards.

Magix86 · 22/12/2024 12:21

@CakePigeon30 just looked it up and it recommends 10 micrograms so if you've been having 35mcg I'm sure it's fine - it's the same as in my conception supplements so I'm sure they wouldn't have too much in them if it was a bad thing! Nhs website says more than 100mcg can be harmful levels.

Thanks ladies for the words of advice and good to know not the only one feeling this way but it's horrendous either way isn't it

I'm incredibly fortunate and have a daughter already from my first FET. I had a freeze all and transferred her after which was successful. Perhaps why I'm more worried now as think luck of the dice is against us.
Transferred a 3AA which the 3 worries me even though it's good grades, we have another two in the freezer. Can't really afford to keep going through it but I think I won't stop until I have done them all

Then I feel horrible for being so panicky about this one when I have a beautiful daughter already. Ugh infertility just sucks. We are unexplained as well so nothing to focus on

CakePigeon30 · 22/12/2024 13:17

@Magix86 whoops thought mg meant micrograms hahah yes 35 micrograms. Is that how much you have been having?

CakePigeon30 · 22/12/2024 13:21

@Magix86 think we had the same transfer date (9th) so potentially will have same due date? I used an online ivf calculator and mine is saying 27th August. Have you figured out yours?

Magix86 · 22/12/2024 13:53

@pinksheetss lovely to hear you have a daughter from previous FET! My clinic transferred a fresh 4AA and froze a 3AB - they said the 3AB was good quality so I'm sure 3AA is even better. I was also told the letters were more important than the number?
@CakePigeon30 haha that's good, you had me panicking I wasn't taking enough lol. Yep I've been on 35mcg for months. Yes we had the same transfer day, due date is coming up as 27th August 💕

pinksheetss · 23/12/2024 09:10

4dp5dt here and I caved and tested at around 5am when I woke up as been non stop thinking about it. Very clear negative no hint of a squint.
I know it's early but I feel like I'm out. No twinges or anything in my stomach, although I think I'm half expecting baby movements and looking for those which obviously wouldn't happen.
I'm already psyched in my head to plan for the next round, we have another two in the freezer so hopefully one of those will stick.
Wondering if I'd get to go straight into it again in Jan cycle or if I'd need to wait until February.

Magix86 · 23/12/2024 09:48

@pinksheetss it's so early, you definitely aren't out yet! I completely get the testing anxiety though, and feeling as if nothing is happening. I tested negative on day 4 and day 5 and only got a faint on day 6. Others had positives later on. Maybe give it a couple of days and then test again?

pinksheetss · 23/12/2024 10:47

Thank you @Magix86
The logical part of my brain does tell me this but I think the complete lack of symptoms this time is making me feel this way.
I got an email from clinic today with a photo of the embryo as well so perhaps that's another thing to over think over! I think it's helped me to get in this mindset though as I spent last couple of days moping and now today going forward I'm going to enjoy festive season and know we have a plan going forward and I'm so so lucky to already have my little girl

charja100 · 23/12/2024 18:45

Hey everyone. Been running a round getting rest for Christmas today and just sat down and catching up!

Thanks @Triselly the clinic called me today to check in and said my progesterone level was 102. Explained the cramping and they told me to take paracetamol. But the cramping I get at the 40 hour mark when injection is due has been worrying me so I decided to pay for a private progesterone test this morning to see what my levels were +24 hours for when they test which was 36 hours since last shot. So will find out tomorrow what the results are.

I knew I couldn't hold out testing. I caved and tested yesterday morning and evening too, BFN in the morning but I swear that I could see the faintest marking last night. Hubby said I was crazy and he couldn't see a thing. I did a cheapy easy at home at lunch time today and this time he could see it too. It's incredibly faint but there. Hopefully a FRER tomorrow morning will be more noticeable. Will add pic / does anyone see it?

@pinksheetss my test as a BFN yesterday so don't lose hope. I've also been trying to protect my heart and say that I have 2 more in freezer but it's just far too early to tell. Have lots of cuddles with your little girl. You're blessed to have had a successful transfer. 💫

Triselly · 23/12/2024 19:13

I can definitely see that @charja100 ! Looks like a v early positive to me - please let us know what a FRER first thing tomorrow says!

I had my blood test this morning and did a hpt whilst we waited... It's a positive for me. I was in shock as was so sure it was going to be another failed cycle but looks like we got lucky this time. Still getting over the surprise now xxx

charja100 · 23/12/2024 20:28

@Triselly oh my goodness, that's so amazing I am so happy for you! You've got your Christmas miracle! 🎄✨It's been such a long journey for us both and it could finally be our time 🙏💗💫

I'm just praying mine sticks now! But with these cramps I've had on my left from 2dp5dt I really do feel like they were implantation, and they've been more intense than ever before so I'm hoping it's a positive sign!

Triselly · 23/12/2024 20:47

Thank you! Yes @charja100 maybe this is it for us! Absolutely everything crossed for your next tests, the cramping really does sound like a positive sign to me xx

Magix86 · 23/12/2024 21:22

Oh my goodness! Massive congrats @Triselly I'm so happy for you 💕
And yes @charja100 I can definitely see it! Do let us know what tomorrow's test looks like.
I had a call from the clinic today and we're booked in for our first scan on January 8th. Seems a lifetime away!

CakePigeon30 · 23/12/2024 21:58

@charja100 looks like a positive to me 😊

Lots of positives on this thread maybe it's a lucky one!

Had my blood test today and it confirmed my positive. Scan on 6th Jan.

CakePigeon30 · 23/12/2024 21:58

@Magix86 with Christmas and new year in the way then the time will fly over!!

Magix86 · 23/12/2024 22:09

@CakePigeon30 I'm sure you're right. This whole thing is just anxious wait after anxious wait lol I'm not sure I'll ever feel calm again!
So pleased your bloods confirmed it! And you had 2 blasts transferred didn't you? Hope you're doing ok

pinksheetss · 24/12/2024 06:04

Morning ladies, another clear negative for me today. No squint or anything

charja100 · 24/12/2024 08:09

@CakePigeon30 and @Magix86 so exciting! Where will you both be time wise on scan day?

So FMU today on easy at home looks darker. FRERbis disappointing. There a line but it's incredibly faint. I'd have thought it would be darker.

Another wit until tomorrow to see if it gets darker. At least I can relax for today now. Was so hopeful I might be able to share a positive digital with hubby tomorrow and give him the best Christmas present ever. He's rightly still cautious after last year.

Magix86 · 24/12/2024 08:19

@charja100 I'll be 7 weeks exactly on scan day 💕
Sorry the frer was disappointing today. I had exactly the same! The easy at home tests were definitely clearer for me than the frers. I think about ordering some more just to check but I'm also trying not to continue testing! I have one more digital weeks clearblue that I'm saving for next week. My test on Sunday had moved from 1-2 to now 2-3 so that's reassured me for now

CakePigeon30 · 24/12/2024 09:20

@charja100 in the end I just went with the digital FRER (the one that just says yes/no) because I knew I would obsess over lines! I do see a line on both, how sensitive is the easy at home?

My scan will be 6+5 😃😃

Triselly · 24/12/2024 13:02

@pinksheetss I'm so sorry - I understand the crushing disappointment ❤️ I hope you're doing alright today.

@charja100 These tests looks great! I don't think there would be any difference in 1 day - as far as I'm aware you have to wait 2 - 3 days to compare line progression. And aren't you only a few days post transfer? These honestly look very good, esp so early! Maybe if you do one tomorrow morning it might be strong enough to convince your DH?

Thank you @Magix86 you too! Xx

charja100 · 24/12/2024 13:05

@pinksheetss I'm sorry, try not to give up hope yet. I know it's easy for us to say but there are so many stories of women who haven't had their bfp until much later. It's the challenge with testing early. There's no guarantee with the results as things can change.

I hope you can do something nice today to distract yourself?

CakePigeon30 · 24/12/2024 13:10

@Magix86 when are you going to refer to the midwife?

CakePigeon30 · 24/12/2024 13:11

@pinksheetss sorry just seen this. Hope you are ok. How many dpt are you now?
