Congratulations @SAbs86 , that is wonderful news!

@Magix86 I have seen a lot of test progression lines that can vary one day to the next, having the odd test that is a bit lighter than the one before - if it is just the one test I would really try not to worry too much (obv impossible) and see how it looks with more tests. Could it be that you had just drunk more water which diluted it a bit?

@spamOFtheDAY I haven’t heard about these apps either, it looks like the faintest shadow of a line there but I think you have to just wait another day and retry then? Absolutely maddening I do understand xx

@charja100 That sounds like a really positive result from all the additional things you’ve been trying for this last round - 3 top notch embryos sounds fantastic! We can’t access the medical add ons, but for the last few months husband and I have been taking melatonin, coq10, all supplements under the sun so if this one sticks I will be absolutely convinced by them 😅

I’m at 5dp5dt today, and feel absolutely nothing 😬 I know they say that’s normal but I don’t know, it’s hard not to feel like another failed round when there is nothing indicating otherwise. I’ve always been a serial tester too but decided against it this round as it was making me way more anxious. Does anyone else have any symptoms?

SAbs86 · 17/12/2024 09:49

@triselly thank you! Keeping everything crossed for you.

@spamOFtheDAY I'm sorry you have had a bad night. I could see a faint line in the pic you posted. It's early days so hopefully by tomorrow or Friday you will see something darker. X

@Magix86 this is exactly what happened to me. My OTD test taken with FMU was lighter than a test I took on Thurs in the afternoon. But my bloods came back fine x

Magix86 · 17/12/2024 10:00

Thanks everyone for the reassurance! It definitely helps posting on here. Going to try not to worry and just do another tomorrow morning. I feel a little reassured that clear blue digital is showing positive. Can't get hold of any more frers now so maybe that will help!
Sending positive vibes to all of you x

charja100 · 17/12/2024 23:54

@Triselly everything crossed for you!

@spamOFtheDAY it is still early, I'm sorry it's not really obvious for you. Hoping that feint line gets darker! You're going to have to share this app with me as I'm a serial tester and sounds like something I need 🤣

@Magix86 as a couple of others have said it's still early, and you have to compare the same brand tests and they say to do it 2 days apart to be reliable. Hopefully on your next test the line will be father and you can relax a little.

So tomorrow late morning is transfer day. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time! Pray for me ladies

Good luck for today @charja100 💓 hope transfer goes well!

I'm so sorry @spamOFtheDAY 😞

charja100 · 18/12/2024 09:56

I'm so sorry @spamOFtheDAY. A Christmas champagne shops sounds just the tonic. Look after yourself 💗

SAbs86 · 18/12/2024 12:50

@spamOFtheDAY I'm so sorry hope you're doing okay. Make sure you indulge over Christmas and spoil yourself, you deserve it. Wishing you all the best for future FETs.

@charja100 good luck for your FET today. Everything crossed for you.

SAbs86 · 18/12/2024 14:22

@Magix86 how are you getting on? Did you do another test this morning?

Triselly · 18/12/2024 15:01

@spamOFtheDAY I'm so sorry, hope you're doing ok xxx

@charja100 Very best of luck for tomorrow, do let us know how it goes if you feel up to it xxx

SAbs86 · 18/12/2024 14:22

@Magix86 how are you getting on? Did you do another test this morning?

Yep! Got a clearer positive on the clearblue compared to yesterday and I think the easy @ home was also slightly darker. Feeling a lot better. OTD is tomorrow! 😀

SAbs86 · 18/12/2024 16:37

@Magix86 that's great I think different tests will show you different things and also depends on how much you've had to drink etc.

When was your transfer date again? I think we are not that far apart from each other. Mine was the 5th December. X

Magix86 · 18/12/2024 19:08

@SAbs86 yea I think you're right. It's probably good for me I can't get hold of any more frers haha.
The worry never ends - I've been out with my partner today and it's been a lot of walking. Ended up quite cold and wet from the rain. We were told to avoid heavy exercise etc...today won't have been a problem will it?!

My transfer day was 9th so only a few days behind you. How are you feeling now?

SAbs86 · 18/12/2024 21:32

@Magix86 Definitely not! After my FET I went out for a Christmas do (it was quite tame but still) and then on the weekend I was using the oven alot and it was blowing hot air onto my stomach and I was completely paranoid I'd ruined my chances. I know what you mean though, I can't stop worrying either.

I'm feeling okay get the odd waves of nausea. I'm on steroids and I think it's impacting my sleep and my appetite (extra hungry). How about you?

charja100 · 21/12/2024 11:47

Hey everyone. Thought I'd check in and see how is everyone feeling in their TWW?

I'm 3dp5dt now and not really feeling anything at all. Had a kind of sharp pulling in my left side last night for a bit but likely that is just progesterone. Trying to take my mind off everything but it's so hard! Already started pondering testing tomorrow 🙈

Would love to hear how everyone is 💗

Magix86 · 21/12/2024 12:11

@charja100 congrats on the transfer. I had no real feelings the first few days either. I'm testing tomorrow for our second date set by the clinic and then I guess they will book us in for a scan.
Had some cramps last night that were so similar to my period being on its way so that was difficult. And feeling very hungry!
How is everyone else doing?

Triselly · 21/12/2024 12:40

Hey guys,

Glad your ET went well @charja100 , sounds like a positive sign to feel pulling like you did! I don’t think a positive would register for a few days yet though.

That sounds very exciting @Magix86, congratulations! Do you have any other children?

I am at 9dp5dt and I really don’t feel anything so about 75% sure it’s failed again. I know a lack of symptoms isn’t exactly a sign it’s failed but just have a hunch. OTD is on Monday so not long to wait now. I’ve been really unwell though, went to the Dr yesterday as was convinced I have a chest infection but got told it’s fine, it’s just a virus, but I need to ‘stress less’. Yep that old chestnut. Thanks Dr 🙄

Hope you are all having good weekends xx

charja100 · 21/12/2024 12:57

@Triselly that comment makes my blood boil. Obviously it would be lovely not to stress but we're not doctors are we. That's why we go for advice 🙄 everything crossed for you. Have you tested at all?

Yeah I wouldn't be expecting a positive at any point soon even if it this transfer was proving to be successful. It's just so early but you see these miracle stories of people who get these positives and you just hope it could be you.

It's hard isn't it. To not read into every little feeling. There's so much hope attached to the outcome. You have to have a hunch to try and protect yourself and manage your feelings. Well I find I do anyway.

There are so many bugs going around at the moment too! Hopefully you can shift the virus quickly.

Trying to tidy and clean the house ready for Christmas but just can't get the will power to do it 🤣🤣🤣

Magix86 · 21/12/2024 18:59

Thank you @Triselly ❤️ this will be my first! I've never been pregnant before. We have severe MFI so are using donor sperm. Got incredibly lucky on our first round and fresh transfer 💖
I have no idea what to expect with any of this!
Have you not tested at all yet? Really sorry to hear you've been unwell, and that your GP seemed unhelpful, sometimes I think they are so rushed and overworked that they can lose a bit of compassion.

@charja100 did you have a trigger or anything? I tested on day 2 I think to make sure it was out of my system!

pinksheetss · 21/12/2024 20:50

I might be on a couple of threads with some of you already but popping on here also as I'm currently 2dp5dt and I feel like I have spent all day on Mumsnet/google/reddit trying to look up stories and just constantly thinking about it
No idea how I'm going to cope waiting! Already been on seeing how soon people get positives etc and when to test

Magix86 · 21/12/2024 22:06

Yay welcome @pinksheetss 😊 congrats on the transfer!
It doesn't seem like it ever gets any better lol - every day I find a new worry to start googling and looking through old threads on here! It's all consuming.
Hope the next few days go quickly for you

charja100 · 21/12/2024 22:35

@pinksheetss welcome to thread @pinksheetss. I think I'm on another with you. This one is good for helping to cope with the insanity of the TWW. I'm in the same boat, except at transfer #5 I should really know better as I've done so much googling and searching on the threads before 🙈🤣

It was a FET without trigger so I don't need to test trigger out this time. I've just had these word cramps today. Mainly on my left side but then for a short term everywhere. Made me wonder if the progesterone I'm on was too low. They changed me from cyclogest x3 and Lubion daily to cyclogest x3 and Progesterone in oil (PIO) but every other day. I started to get really nervous that maybe my progesterone was dripping too low and that's what was giving me the cramps. I've actually just had my PIO do will see if it gets better and then if it comes back again. I might call the clinic in Monday and rally to them about it. I've had two chemicals where my progesterone levels haven't been great. And I've also had breakthrough bleeding on a BFN cycle so I'm super nervous about my progesterone levels.

I also hadn't realised how much extra pressure I was going to feel knowing that this one is a tested embryo. So technically after 4 trails and all the tests to get everything right. There's no reason it shouldn't work. But obviously u know that it's not quite that simple. And it's almost down to luck. But I feel like it should work.

I'm literally going mental over here 🙈🤪

Triselly · 22/12/2024 09:14

@charja100 Not meaning to rely on hearsay from old threads, but cramping seems to be the most reported symptom leading to a positive so honestly I would take that as a good sign! It sounds like a good idea to contact your clinic though just to get some answers about your progesterone level, esp if it’s really stressing you out.

They say you’re meant to enjoy this time being PUPO but it is the most intense nerve wracking time! Worrying constantly about hormone levels, temperature, doing too much or not enough, symptom spotting, it’s enough to make anyone go nuts. If anyone has figured out how to relax and not freak out solidly for two weeks please let me know!

Hello @pinksheetss, congratulations on the transfer! Is this your first?

@Magix86 thank you - no I haven’t tested yet, first time I’ve made it this far without testing, I would definitely recommend it to anyone as it has saved me constantly googling ‘7dp3dt bfn success stories’ and a whole lot of stress. How are you feeling?

Have a good Sunday everyone xx

CakePigeon30 · 22/12/2024 10:28

Hiya, sorry I've been really quiet on here.

Also got a bfp over the weekend but my OTD is tomorrow where I'll get a blood test to confirm.

How much vitamin d is everyone taking? Just realised I've been taking far too much. NHS recommends 10mg. And I've been taking a 25mg tablet and also didn't realise I had folic acid mixed with 10mg vitamin d. So been taking 35mg. The clinic did ask if I was taking it but never specified how much.

I'll ask tomorrow just wanted to check in with everyone else. Part of me doesn't want to reduce it in case that is the reason the little bean has stuck.
