Hi @charja100 @Triselly welcome! I'm sorry to hear the tough times people have had through this. Infertility really is brutal.
We've been going through this whole process for more than 2 years with severe MFI, although this is our first round of IVF. My partner had clomid for 3 months and then a surgical sperm retrieval which was sadly unsuccessful. We've had to go with donor sperm so a lot of mixed feelings about where we are currently at.
I've been a bit down today as my boobs have completely stopped hurting or feeling sensitive- I thought it was due to the cyclogest but I'm still on the pessaries twice a day so not sure why it's stopped. Other than that I'm just feeling the odd twinge here and there, nothing too noticeable.

@SAbs86 how many days early did you get your faint positive? I'm trying to hold off testing but may try a frer tomorrow 😬

Anyone else feeling anything?

SAbs86 · 15/12/2024 17:38

@Magix86 My transfer was Thursday afternoon and I got a faint positive on Monday evening.

If it helps for my first pregnancy I had absolutely no symptoms during the 2WW. For my failed transfers after I had extreme nausea. It can go either way.

The only thing I would say about early testing is that it can make you more anxious. I was in a right state comparing the darkness of the lines and I wish I had waited until OTD. However completely understand the temptation and that need to know. Wishing you all the luck in the world whichever you decide x

Magix86 · 15/12/2024 17:47

Thanks for sharing that @SAbs86 I'm impressed you had a positive so early! I think testing may just put my mind at ease, as all I'm doing is googling and trawling through various posts on here 😅
I've read a lot of posts from people that have had positive tests with no symptoms so it's reassuring to read these.

Are you going to test @Magix86?
Are you 6dp now?

I am said if wait until OTD (21st) or at least until after Wednesday. But I have no will power and tested this afternoon.
BFN and now I feel shit

So I wish I hadn't tested.

I think I'll try and wait again. But I also just ordered some cheap tests on Amazon 😞

Hi @Triselly so sorry to see you here with me. It's been a long couple of years.

I'm now on my third EC cycle, and fifth transfer overall. First round fresh transfer ended in chemical, FET from that round BFN. Third embryo didn't survive thaw so cancelled cycle.

Second round of EC 1 day 5 blast so fresh transfer - chemical. 2 embryos on day 6 but both tested aneuploid.

It's my third round of EC now and has been my best round so far. We used all the vitamins, melatonin, changed my stims drugs from meriofert to meriofert and gonal f mix. I'm on intralipds, inhixia, steroids and supercharged progesterone support. We also added on calcium ionophore and Zymot. We collected 12 eggs, 12 mature, 11 fertilise and 7 embryos. 5xday 5 and 2 x day 6. Fresh transfer failed, sent 6 for testing and I've managed to bank 3 euploid embryos. My FET is Wednesday 18th. We did lots of tests this year before cycle three and found out I had raised TH1 cytokines. Im hoping that between fixing the progesterone, reducing cytokines and getting a normal embryo I might finally have some luck on my side!

I'll be 7dp5dt on Christmas Day... I'm normally a serial tester but not too sure when I'll test this year. Last year I had a positive over Christmas and then chemical and bleeding first week of Jan. I'm a bit nervous of the same result.

So amazing that you have something to freeze! Did you change much for your fourth round?

charja100 · 15/12/2024 20:31

@Magix86 the TWW is so hard. I obsess over the smallest change in my body. It's definitely not good for my mental health. I find testing helps me. But you do have to be comfortable with seeing a negative. Personally I think a test around 7dp5dt is quite reliable if you're using a very sensitive pink dye such as easy at home. Still not guaranteed as people do sometimes take until 10dp5dt hat's why OTD is when it i, but if you need a barometer that's always a good yard stick.

I'm sorry that you've had such a hard journey. Hopefully you get a Christmas miracle 🎄🤞

SAbs86 · 15/12/2024 21:50

@Magix86 Oh I'm the same I Google incessantly, you should see my search history!

@spamOFtheDAY It may be a late implanter, definitely wouldn't rule out anything yet. Keeping everything crossed for you x

Rosieposy89 · 15/12/2024 22:27

Hey, my OTD is 21st Dec too. Currently 6dp5dt with a 5AB embryo. Our first FET. We have a 3yo dd who we naturally conceived after a failed fresh 4 years ago.

I have no symptoms really. I've had bad cramping and today I feel like AF is coming. I'm not testing early as I can't bear the disappointment. It does feel like an eternity

Magix86 · 16/12/2024 08:05

Welcome @Rosieposy89
@spamOFtheDAY I didn't want to say as I felt silly for testing but I also tested on day 5 and a definite negative. Hang in there! I think that's super early to get a positive so you're not out yet 🤞🏻

I tested after posting here yesterday 🙈 got a faint positive on an easy @ home test. This morning is positive and darker than yesterday. I also did a frer this morning. It's positive but it's fainter than the easy @ home which is slightly confusing as I thought the frer were more sensitive...

Ah that's amazing!
What DPT are you?
Have you had any symptoms?

@spamOFtheDAY today I'll be 7dp5dt. My OTD is Thursday.
I've woken with a dry mouth and a stuffy nose. A few light twinges here and there. Boobs still not sore the past 2 days. I've definitely realised my sense of smell has been a lot more sensitive!

SAbs86 · 16/12/2024 08:22

@Magix86 that's amazing! Is your OTD 9 days past transfer?

Ah that's such good news - so happy for you

(And makes me feel a bit better about BFN on 5dpt!) so was it a complete negative 5dpt and positive 6dpt? X

Magix86 · 16/12/2024 08:33

@SAbs86 OTD will be 10days after transfer. I'm now googling why easy at home would show more than frer with less sensitivity lol - it never stops! 😅
@spamOFtheDAY thank you. And yes it honestly couldn't have been more negative on day 5 lol...bright white test!

I'm just hoping this continues 🙏

charja100 · 16/12/2024 08:36

@Magix86 easy at home pink tests detect from 10ml so they are as sensitive as FRER. I've actually always had stronger results on easy at home than FRER. Less chance of an indent too which FRER went through a period of having.

Congratulations on your positive!

SAbs86 · 16/12/2024 08:37

@Magix86 😂 I bought a Boots pregnancy test on Saturday and was planning to test again and compare with my FRER, but managed to stop myself (so far!). I've got another blood test today and hope my hCg has doubled 🤞It's never ending!

Do your clinic do bloods too?

Magix86 · 16/12/2024 08:42

@charja100 ohh that helps! Thank you for sharing. I thought easy at home were 10ml and frers were 6.
Either way I'm cautiously happy and will no doubt test again tomorrow and compare 😅

@SAbs86 good luck for the bloods today! Hoping for a really great number for you 🤞🏻 I don't think my clinic do them, I think it's just the 2 pregnancy tests and then a scan. So might be a lot of anxious waiting. I wonder if I could get my gp to do them maybe, or if I'd have to go somewhere private

SAbs86 · 16/12/2024 08:55

@Magix86 thank you! My previous clinic didn't do them either I just requested it. I will still be anxious even after today's results 😅

SAbs86 · 16/12/2024 17:24

Hi ladies just posting an update here. My levels are at 533 (more than double from Saturday) which the clinic is happy with. Now an anxious wait until the 7 week scan! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you x

Magix86 · 16/12/2024 18:07

Yay! Really happy for you @SAbs86 that's great news 💖

charja100 · 16/12/2024 18:13

@SAbs86 congratulations! So happy for you! 🙏💫

SAbs86 · 16/12/2024 20:37

Thank you! @Magix86 @charja100 keeping everything crossed for you and hoping you get your BFPs too xx

spamOFtheDAY · 17/12/2024 07:10

Congratulations ladies - this is all wonderful news.

7dp5dt today. I pretty much cried myself to sleep last night believing I'm out again.
I've ready every forum on Google 😛

Took at test this morning and it looks stark white to the eye.
But I tried a "pregnancy checker app" as suggested in aforementioned Google search (🙄) and I can see a line. But don't know whether to believe it. Maybe it's a shitty cruel app 😡

@spamOFtheDAY sorry to read this and that you've had a bad night 😞 I don't know anything about these pregnancy checker apps but I guess you're still early days. Could you test again tomorrow?

My frer this morning is lighter than yesterday so that's really got me down today. I'm so worried about having a chemical. The clearblue is positive and so is the easy @ home and the clearblue digital says 1-2 weeks but the frer is really bothering me. I can't get any more now until Friday!

I've read to try to take tests 48hrs apart to show progression as it can be so variable
I know it's hard !
