I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

I got my blood results back and HCG was only 4,570 on Monday when I would be 6w2d so it seems too low? I was expecting it to at least be over 10,000! It was 435 on 3rd Feb and only 4570 on 17th Feb suggests it’s not doubling as it should so I’m not feeling confident ahead of the scan next Tuesday 😔

@MS2692 there is online calculators if you our in your results they will give you the doubling rate etc, I wouldn't stress as still good numbers and they do start to slow down/taper off

The cos are happy with my increase so in for a viability scan on the 6th march, should be 7+1, I will hold my breath until then 🤪

@Daniki thank you, I’ve just used some of the calculators and it’s saying it’s only increasing 40% every 2 days when it should be 66% and taking 99 hours to double so I’m really sure it’s not viable, I’ve called our clinic and they’ve moved the scan to tomorrow morning

@Daniki @MS2692 I’m sorry I don’t know much about beta results as my clinic don’t do them,if it helps at all they said they don’t because levels can vary so much and it can cause a lot of anxiety. Good news that your scan has been moved forward @MS2692 mine is Wednesday when I will be 7+3,what are you now?

@Cosyseason1234 I’m currently 6+5 so tomorrow will be 6+6 it wasn’t supposed to be until Tuesday! I think the lady at the clinic could sense the worry in my voice

My clinic also don't do them.
I can't believe you are all approaching scan dates already, I think it's a great hurdle to get to that. The days are dragging for me......

Just did a test and the line is so faint just like first ones at 7dp so I’m now certain it’s a MMC I will leave the group guys! Best of luck to all you and thank you for being such a great support 😘🤞🏻

Hey everyone, thought it was only right to update (sorry if that seems self absorbed!) just to say I went for the scan this morning which confirmed what I suspected, MMC. Have had bloods done to confirm the large decrease in HCG so that I can come off meds and then plan next steps. Thank you all for your support I really wish you all the best ❤️🤞🏻

Hope no one minds me jumping on this thread. Just wanted to know if anyone’s had any success stories of testing at 8days post a 5day transfer and being negative but then getting a positive after that? Right now I’m only after positive stories (I know there is a chance this transfer hasn’t worked) but anything to give me some hope this weekend while I wait to test again! X
