Hi all ☺️

I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

Please join this thread if you are on a similar timescale πŸ’«

@paintfairy exactly, god the joy does be sucked right out of it and replaced with anxiety πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ I'd love to be put in a coma and woken up at birth time 🀣

Or maybe after birth time- just hand it over when the hard work is done!

Ladies I got a faint positive this morning at 7dp5dt. I say this morning- it was a 3am anxiety test. Can't quite believe it. Never seen a pregnant test before. Praying it stays and I've not got confused with trigger shots, evap lines or a chemical. I'll keep testing daily now until OTD which is Thursday. Cross your fingers for me!

Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

Daniki · 09/02/2025 08:03

@OneWaryCat woohoo congrats!! πŸ™ŒπŸ» πŸ₯³ hope it sticks for you πŸ₯° haha yes hand it over after would be even better 🀣 and give me a tummy tuck when you're in there πŸ˜‚

Mseddy · 09/02/2025 08:18

Congrats @OneWaryCat so many lovely BFPs on this thread

Mseddy · 09/02/2025 09:18

Has anyone else not got a single symptom? I've tested on day 5,6,8, and 10 pt. The lines are getting darker, today's is equal with the control line so things seem to be going ok from a rising hcg point of view (I know it's not the most accurate way to test) but I literally don't have a single symptom. By this time with DD I could barely wear a bra from how sensitive my nipples were and I was chugging half a bottle of gaviscon a day. This time literally nada! It's freaking me out a bit even thought I know it shouldn't

Waitingformystork · 09/02/2025 09:27

Congratulations @Daniki and @OneWaryCat ! Fingers crossed for you both for sticky babies

@Mseddy I think it's normal not to have any symptoms until 6weeks+, even if you had them with your daughter earlier. Your body may just be responding differently to the hormones this time :)

spamOFtheDAY · 09/02/2025 10:07

I keep deleting social media etc as I'm spending SO much time scrolling stuff when I know i can't control/change anything now.

I said I'd try to wait until at least 8dp5dt but here I am testing at 3 and 4dp5dt 😑 😒 and BFN

This is so hard 😞

Elena3 · 09/02/2025 10:49

@Mseddy I had terrible mood swings and crying for about 3 days, but that's it, no physical symptoms whatsoever, not even breast sensitivity!

Mseddy · 09/02/2025 10:52

Thanks guys, makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one without symptoms.

@spamOFtheDAY I'm sure it's just too early. Fingers crossed you get a little squinter soon!

paintfairy · 09/02/2025 12:24

@Mseddy I think i was a full week or more after official test day (which was like 14 days after transfer as well) before I got a single symptom last time.
@OneWaryCat congratulations! πŸŽ‰
The birth is the easy bit by the way, compared to the following weeks. 🀭

Actually whilst I'm still here (obviously I'm hoping mine works but if it doesn't, I'll not hang around) my one piece of advice to you all is- look into birth rights and know exactly what they are. Don't be bullied into interventions you don't want. I strongly believe that babies come when ready (bar ones with serious health issues or complications that aren't in your control) and that's what makes for an easier birth! They are too quick to interfere these days and it just leads to drawn out painful labour. But you've got to be strong willed........

OneWaryCat · 09/02/2025 12:43

@Mseddy I've still had no symptoms at all. Maybe a slightly tender nipple one day but that's is and I might even have imagined it. But I've also had barely any symptoms throughout down regulation and stims. They gave me antibiotics after my EC which gave me a slight skin rash so I stopped, but I feel totally normal .

MS2692 · 09/02/2025 13:39

@OneWaryCat congratulations πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯°

@Mseddy I didn’t have any symptoms at all with my first successful FET! I’m also not having any with this one xx

I got a 3+ weeks on a CB weeks test this morning πŸ₯³πŸ™ŒπŸ» so feel more reassured now 🀞🏻 I have moved the blood HCG test to Mon 17th hoping the 3+ today will keep me calm until then πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€žπŸ»

Any news on a transfer date @paintfairy ?

Is any one else wiped out on the progesterone? I feel like I can barely keep my eyes open. I had a luxurious 2 hour nap yesterday and still felt tired

I've been this morning and everything OK. I can trigger tonight and transfer will be next Monday. She said they'll call this afternoon with trigger time.
Slightly concerning though that they've sent me through a cancelled round invoice though..... πŸ€”πŸ€£

Waitingformystork · 10/02/2025 12:43

@paintfairy yay great news! Except for the cancellation invoice, that's not very reassuring. Will you be taking progesterone as well? I did a natural cycle too, but modified with a trigger and progesterone pessaries.

paintfairy · 10/02/2025 12:52

@Waitingformystork yes. 3 pessaries a day. So I'll have that joy. 🀣

paintfairy · 10/02/2025 16:27

Well, I've now got to go back to the clinic tomorrow as my information wasn't documented and there's nothing to say there was a follicle. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ So they've said to trigger anyway at 8pm, but I've now got to have another scan. Because I obviously have nothing better to do.

Ginny91 · 10/02/2025 17:49

@paintfairy oh gosh that's so frustrating, sometimes I despair at how many times the clinics get things wrong it can give such unnecessary stress. Hope all goes ok at your scan xx

Daniki · 10/02/2025 18:13

@paintfairy god that's awful bad form 😩

paintfairy · 10/02/2025 18:18

Yeah it's not great, is it. For how much it costs it's outrageous really. I'm not happy and very stressed. It better all be worth it, is all I can say.

OneWaryCat · 10/02/2025 18:27

@Waitingformystork I'm also pretty knackered but not sure if it's from waking up around 3am most days and struggling to go back to sleep. I then wake again around 6am and test and do pessaries.

The pessaries keep making me feel quite bloated and constipated which is really uncomfortable. Hoping it all calms down a bit soon.

Daniki · 10/02/2025 19:05

And now I'm panicking I'm having a chemical 😭 tested again this evening and it seems lighter than yest 😩 wish I'd just tested once and left it until my beta on Friday! Glad I havnt told my husband yet 🫣

Waitingformystork · 10/02/2025 19:13

I'm sorry to hear about the added stress @paintfairy ! As if ivf isn't stressful enough without admin errors.

@Daniki I think the test from today looks the same as yesterday's, so fingers crossed! I think you're looking for changes between every two days, so hopefully tomorrow is darker than your day 6 test.

@OneWaryCat I'm waking up in the middle of the night too. But partly because I've convinced myself I should sleep on my left side, so when I wake up to turn over, I don't let myself and then stay awake. The madness that ivf brings upon you πŸ˜‚

OneWaryCat · 10/02/2025 19:24

I agree, I don't think it looks very different @Daniki - hang in there.

I threw away my day 7 and 8 tests today, partly because the cleaner was coming, but partly also because I don't want to keep looking at them. My day 7 also went really dark too over time so don't think CB is that accurate at recording 'strength' as others seem to be.

OneWaryCat · 10/02/2025 19:28

Sorry to hear that @paintfairy. So frustrating and worrying for you.

My clinic is great overall but I've had 2 occasions where they clearly meant to prescribe me drugs ahead of procedures and forgot/didn't, so I've had to walk 15 mins to the hospital pharmacy to get them before going home. One of these was post EC! Luckily my husband went for me whilst I waited at the clinic but the time before that I had to do it myself and I cried all the way there.

paintfairy · 10/02/2025 19:53

@OneWaryCat wow. Yeah it's just not good enough? The whole thing is very stressful anyway. Without extra issues. Plus it's time. Time off work and having to drop everything at a moments notice. Honestly I don't know how people do several rounds. I feel exhausted from trying to do one bloody FET! I don't think my fresh cycle was actually as stressful as this.
