TWW Fresh Embryo Transfer Symptoms

Hi everyone !

I am currently 5 days past a 5 day fresh embryo transfer. I've had slight cramping and lower back pain since day 1 as well as very vivid dreams.
Could these be symptoms that the embryo has implanted ? Or just a side effect of my progesterone pessaries.

We have male infertility factor and my AMH levels and lining were good when I had the transfer. My period is due a week today so I'm now worrying it's just my period coming early before my official test day which would be odd as I'm very regular!

Just feeling a little lonely in this two week wait as I've never wanted something so much !
Any success stories with similar symptoms would be great ?

@LimeTurtle I’ve been having mini one-sided cramps for about a week, which was scary at first but the more I read it’s just the uterus getting bigger which a nice thought!
Im counting down the days until next Friday to see the scan and know that everything is okay. I’m sure lots of people feel the same but it goes through my mind all the what ifs… what if it’s in the wrong place etc. Trying to stay positive 🫣🤞🏻

I've been having those too ! My left side, so was thinking the same thing I was mostly worrying it was in the wrong place with my back pain. But that's totally gone today. Feeling much better from my nasty cold ! Just rested all day yesterday and slept and seems to be on the way out 😄 it's so hard to enjoy the bubble totally isn't it ! 💗

Hey guys! Kinda the usual for me, shattered again - the naps are defo turning into a daily occurrence but I just can't help it 🤣🤣 feel like my nausea is creeping up a bit too, but I'll take anything as long as my little bug is okay in there. Still feeling a bit anxious as it was today the last time that I lost it, but my test this morning was so fast and strong so starting to feel a bit better. Ill probs just test this week and maybe once a week before my scan 🤣🤣 just helps my anxiety massively!

Don't worry too much about cramps I'm sure you're right, there's lots of changes going on in there right now!

@Kaybee1989 you must be so excited for next Friday! I've got just under 3 weeks it defo can't come fast enough to hopefully hear a little heartbeat🥹💕

I haven't tested again yet ! I'm doing it on Saturday when I'm officially 5 weeks 🤣 trying to hold off as long as I can and like you said maybe just try to do one a week I've found it helps my nerves ☺️

@LimeTurtle it defo helps, I'm only doing one a day this week because I'm worried about losing this one but slowly starting to feel more reassured, haven't done my digi one yet so might do that tomorrow and then we are further than ever so I'll be beyond happy. Ahh you're before me! 😁 I'm on Tuesday 15th! Cannot wait 🤣🥰

Also anyone else already finding it hard not telling friends and family haha hubby wants to wait til 12 weeks just in case it's gonna be so hard 🫣😅

@LimeTurtle It is absolutely so hard to just enjoy the bubble! Every little twinge the worst crosses my mind, like if there’s a strong cramp I’m thinking oh god, this is it 😭 but then it’s just wind 🫣😂 This will probably be the only time that I go through this so I really should just embrace it and enjoy 😊

@cbear1989 So hard not telling anybody! I’m a nail tech and am constantly chatting with my regulars and they’re asking me, ‘Did you get upto much this weekend etc and I’m just dying to shout out “Not much, just making a human, obsessing over said human and researching the internet on why I have to pee every 20 mins” … but I’ve just got to say, “Not much” We’ve decided to tell my husbands family at Xmas, so I’d be about 18 weeks 🤞🏻it’s gonna be a long haul but it’s kinda nice it being our little secret 🤫🥰

I've been having really bad cramps and pains in my lower abdomen all afternoon.

Like really painful. I'm 7dpt. Had my positive clear blue yesterday 😢

@Kaybee1989 yeah your job defo won't help then haha the desire to just spill is too much isn't it 😂😬 ah that's so cute telling your family at Christmas though I love that!! such a special time of year, that'll be an amazing memory!

@Natasha90 please don't worry! there's a lot happening in there just remember that, if you're really worried have you contacted your clinic for any advice? I'm sure everything is absolutely fine, try and rest up and take care of yourself 💕

@Natasha90 I was cramping from two days before the test date, I had lower back pain, period poops (tmi sorry) all the normal symptoms of my period coming and I was gutted that I ‘knew’ it was on its way and that it hadn’t worked…. Until it actually did work. The next day I got my positive result, I was in absolute shock 😳 I couldn’t believe it. All the hormones and the changing of the uterus makes us feel cramping, lower back pain, achy body, bloating, all the not so great stuff please try not to worry. Relax as much as you can 💓 When is your official date to test? And is it a blood test or a urine test?

OTD is Monday I have to do a test and then let the clinic know for blood tests.

I’ve been testing positive for a few days, but will test again in the morning xx

my bloating has almost gone. I’m still taking progesterone.

the weather is awful here trying to get the dog for walk but it’s not stopped raining all day.

would everyone who tested 9 days send me there tests 😂😂

Mine didn't get massively darker until my actually test date either. I'll attach mine now so you can see. My bloating also stopped a couple of days after my transfer as well. So try your best not to worry 😊

I haven't tested again since my blood test but I'm doing it tomorrow as I'll be 5 weeks✨ symptoms all seem to have disappeared but know this can be very common so got my fingers crossed.

@LimeTurtle @Natasha90 All good, I’m starting to get waves of nausea, it’s kinda like when you haven’t eaten and it makes you feel a bit sick and then it goes away, but nothing like you see in the movies. Weather is still good where I am 25c and sunny ☀️ I’ll try and send some your way 👍🏻😉
I didn’t feel bloated until about day 16 post transfer so it might happen later. I also didn’t test before day 14 after a day 5 embryo but I’ll attach a photo of that test for you 👍🏻

Yes it is an Asda one ! I did that first and it was lighter than my one on 8 days past. So panicked and bought a clear blue. I googled reviews on the Asda one and they're terrible as well. So don't stress if that's what you're using and they aren't getting darker 😊

@Kaybee1989 wow I'm so jealous 😅 I'd love some 25 degree heat right now ! Glad to hear you aren't feeling to bad with the sickness as well 😃

That's such great news 🥹 got all my fingers crossed for you ! I googled these digital to death as I got 2-3. But they only measure it by your HCG levels so 1-2 is brilliant too and that's what most people get ! 1-2 actually means like 3-4 weeks pregnant I believe as it's telling you the conception date.
