Hi,
Is anyone else getting ready for FET in August? I've just started oestrogen got my 1st scan booked for next Wednesday.
This is our first transfer so lots of mixed emotions but trying to remain really positive.

@Kp121 I think tomorrow morning with. FRER. I got a very faint positive 5dp5dt on my first round but that embryo was starting to hatch so this one will probably be later if it takes. In my mind anything up to 7dp5dt is a great time to get a positive. After that I start to lose hope a bit judging by my second round. If you can hold out longer then amazing! I just don’t have the willpower 🙈

I'm very bored of this tww already and I'm only 36 hours in 😂 what is the earliest I could start testing just to keep me busy lol I'm struggling to take it easy etc and not do a lot so I need something to do 😂

😂@Gnatalie16 im just about climbing the walls. I’m 6dpt tomorrow so I think I’m going to test then.
There are lots of people online getting positives at day 4 or 5 but I just don’t know.

@Kp121 @Gnatalie16 im struggling too 😭 time is passing so slowly. I go back and forth between being hopeful and thinking it didn’t work. No symptoms except tummy ones which are probably the progesterone. What do you guys reckon our chances are with an embryo transfer? I’ve seen a lot of contrasting statistics but think it’s probably about 40%.

@SamVan I’ve been told the chance of a successful pregnancy is 50% from a grade a embryo
and the chance of a live birth is 29%

but then I was thinking about it and it’s going to hugely depend on why you’ve needed IVF.
someone with male factory infertility in theory has better odds than someone who doesn’t ovulate, had pcos etc etc

Im pregnant! After years of negative tests 😭

A mixture of excited and also terrified because there’s so far to go and it could still be a chemical etc.

Obviously went nuts and did every test I had.

Were you 6dpt in the end? I want to hold out as long as I can but know I also won't at the same time 😂 did you have any symptoms or feelings you thought could be it?

im 2days post 5 day transfer today, not had any symptoms except crazy vivid dreams… heard progesterone can do this 😆

I am going to wait the full 2 weeks to test though!!!! 🙈

Thanks @Ruby4444 and @Gnatalie16 ive had some cramping over the last day or two and my right boob was killing me yesterday. Nothing major though so I wasn’t sure what the test was going to say.
Yes 6dp5dt today, I really wanted to wait until 8 or 9 days but I caved
it all still feels a bit surreal!

Oh yes I’ve heard lots of people mention the vivid dreams!

I'm trying to keep my mind off tomorrow. My frozzie has been in the freezer for a good while so I'm worried it won't survive the defrost xx

@Kp121 massive congrats! My 5dp5dt was positive on Saturday and positive again this morning! I’m a massive mix of happy and utterly terrified as I’ve been here before. Just trying to take it day by day but that’s easier said than done 🤪. How are you feeling?

@Gnatalie16 good luck! As above I tested 5dp5dt first thing in the morning, I have heard of some people testing from 4dp5dt but that’s very early. There are loads of examples of it implanting later and not testing positive until 8-9dp5dt though, so this early it’s always a big vague!

Also to anyone on here who gets a negative test, I whole heartedly feel your disappointment and I’ve been there before so I’m here if you want to vent at someone who gets it.

I just keep telling myself that we’ve overcome so many hurdles already
egg collection
fertilisation
Embryos progressing normally
making it to blastocyst
making it to frozen
thawing correctly
transfer
implantation
just trying to take it one step at a time.
next step is making it to OTD

@Kp121 im sweating like crazy this heat is unbearable. I haven’t had any symptoms yet except some very mild cramps which could well be gas. Dying to test after seeing your positives. Tuesday will be day 5 for me. So I might test in the evening 😬

@SamVan oh I’m roasting and defo have gas!
just make sure your pee is concentrated enough then 😁
